Resistor Wiring

Connection Type

The detector has two methodfor resistor wiring:

(1) Using headers to select the End of Line resistance (Control panel

dependent)onthe ALARM/TAMPERheader pins.

(2)Selectan resistance (Controlpanel dependent),andadd theresistorto

ALARM/TAMPER wiring ports of the detector.

Note:If EOL(EndofLine)wiring isnotused, leave the headers OFF. If the

headers and the header pins doesnotmatch, do notforce theheader,please

selectthemethod 2 to wiretheresistor.Method 1 and method2 should not

be used onthe ALARM/TAMPER at the sametime.

After powering on,theindicator ashes rapidly. Oncethe detector self test

is completed,the LEDindicator will go outuntil the detector detects

movement.
