Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.

Socket Ring

1.

Thread two fixture mounting screws (D) to the mounting strap (A),

then secure them with two lock nuts (E)

Adjust the length of cord with strain relief(H) to achieve the desired

height.

Depending on the desired height of light fixture, you may need to cut the excess

wire. You will need at least 9 inches of wire to work with. Prepare wire by stripping

3/8 in of insulation from wire ends using wire strippers (not includded).

--Connect the L wire from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.

Attach the mounting strap (A) to outlet box by using two mounting screws (B).

--Connect the N wire from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.

--Connect the BARE/GREEN ground wire from outlet box to BARE wire from fixture

using wire connector.

--Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.

Attach the fixture canopy to the mounting strap (A) by inserting the fixture mounting

screw (D), and then secure itwith two ball nuts (G).

7.

Attach the glass shande onto the socket and tighten the glass shade with socket ring.

8.

Install 1 X 60W max medium base bulb (not included) to the socket.
