Thank you for purchasing a Mellerware product. Mellerware guarantees
that your product has been thoroughly inspected and tested before being
dispatched and is free from mechanical or electrical defects and complies
with the applicable safety standards. With every Mellerware product
purchased you will receive up to a 3 year warranty as detailed in the terms
and conditions below.
FIRST YEAR 1 YEAR RETAIL WARRANTY
domestic use, within 12 months from the original date of purchase please
return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a refund
or replacement at the discretion of the brand. Mellerware appliances are
intended for domestic use only and not for industrial or professional use.
The Warranty, if the product is used outside of domestic use or used in a
commercial environment, is reduced to 3 months with no extended war-
ranty available, all other terms and conditions applicable.
SECOND YEAR OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
ONLINE WARRANTY REGISTRATION
Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an
extended 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail Warranty.
Should defects due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under normal
domestic use, after the initial 12 month period and within 24 months from
the original date of purchase, please return the product to Mellerware for
repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of charge should
it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to you directly.
Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the same or
better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever reason.
Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will produce a
repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

consultants will gladly assist with the online warranty registration. Should
you not register the product within the 12 months of purchase, you will

THIRD YEAR OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
COMMUNICATION OPT IN WARRANTY
Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an addi-
tional 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail and 1 year
online registration warranty. Should defects due to faulty material or
workmanship develop, under normal domestic use, after the initial 12 month
period, the extended online registration 12 month period and within 36
months from the original date of purchase, please return the product to
Mellerware for repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of
charge should it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to
you directly. Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the
same or better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever
reason. Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will
produce a repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

opt-in email communication. Should you wish to qualify for the additional
third year extended warranty, you would need to have registered your
warranty within the rst 12 months from date of purchase and subscribed
to receive brand communication. The extended warranty is conditional
upon these requirements. Please note that you are however free to opt
out at any stage in accordance with the POPI act, this will however result
in you forfeiting this additional extended “communication opt in” warranty
from the recorded opt-out date.
Before returning your product, check the following:
Your household mains supply socket is in good condition, working and
switched on.
The mains supply circuit is not overloaded (white trip switch on your
DB board is off).
You have read the trouble shooting guide in your Instructions for Use.
All accessories and parts are present.
The following conditions apply:
1. Please ensure you retain your original receipt as this must be
presented when making a claim under the terms of the warranty.
It is impossible to determine the warranty period without proof of
purchase, so please keep this in a safe place. (NB. Your original receipt
can be scanned onto the Mellerware website [www.mellerware.co.za]
or Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd [www.creativehousewares.co.za]
for safe storage.)
2. If a refund or exchange is required the product must be complete
with all accessories, parts and packaging. Missing parts will render the
warranty void. Any refund or exchange remains at the brands discre-
tion beyond the implied warranty granted by the CPA.
3. Upon receipt of your appliance, check it for any transport damage to
ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the store as soon as possible for
exchange if damaged. The warranty is void if products are damaged
after use, so please do not use a damaged product.
4. Any alteration made to the appliance purchased will void the warranty.
5. Your product is designed for normal domestic household use. Failure
to read and comply with the instructions for use, cleaning and
maintenance will render your warranty void, so please read these
instructions carefully to ensure your safety, and to get the most effec-
tive use from the product (e.g. not removing limescale; water deposits;
insect infestation, and/or burnt products).
6. Any abuse, negligent, improper or accidental use or care will render
the warranty void and Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd will not be
liable for any loss or damage.
7. Any attempted repair, or replacement of unauthorised parts will ren-
der the warranty void, so please contact an authorised service centre
or service agent for any service or repair requirements.
8. NB: The warranty on replaced products will be from the original date
of purchase and not from when the date replacement was made.
9. All repairs carry a 3 month warranty even if this falls outside of the
warranty period.
10. Mellerware will attempt to conduct repairs within reasonable time,
this in line with industry standards but cannot be held responsible or
liable for any circumstances not under the brands control.
11. This warranty does not apply to glass components, lters, consum-
ables, and other parts subject to fair wear and tear.
Repairs out of the warranty period:
If service or repair becomes necessary outside the warranty period, this
service is still available however all transport/postage, spares and labour
costs will be for the customers account. All chargeable repairs will require
the customers written acceptance of the quote. Once the go-ahead has
been received Mellerware will undertake to conduct the repair within a
repairs carry a warranty of 3 months from the date of the repair.

KEPT AWAY FROM ANY WATER CONTACT. Only
clean it with a soft dry cloth.
5. Storage:
Store in a ventilated and shaded place. Avoid plac-
ing it in a wet place or being exposed to strong
sunlight.
6. Anomalies and repair:
6.1. Take the appliance to an authorised support
centre if product is damaged or other problems
arise.
6.2. If the connection to the mains has been dam-
aged, it must be replaced and you should proceed
as you would in the case of damage.
7. Recycling:
7.1. These electrical products, cables, batteries,
packaging, and the manual, should not be mixed
with general household waste. For proper recycling,
please take these products to your nearest Creative
Housewares office where they will be accepted for
recycling free of charge.
7.2. Alternatively, please contact your local author-
ity or household waste disposal service for further
details of your nearest designated collection point.

3.3.2. Vul die watertenk: Maak die watertenkdeksel
oop en vul die tenk met vars koue water en/of ys.
Hou die watervlak-aanwyser aan die voorkant van
die toestel dop en maak seker dat jy nie verder as
die MAKSIMUM-vlak vul nie. Voeg ys by, indien
verkies, vir verbeterde verkoeling.
3.3.3. Vul ysbokse met water en plaas dit in die
vrieskas.
3.4. Gebruik van die Beheerpaneel
Om Aan te Skakel: Om die toestel aan te
skakel, druk óf die LAAG (L), MEDIUM (M)
óf HOOG (H) spoedknoppie. Die eenheid sal
begin werk teen die gekose windspoed.
SPOED-knoppie: Druk hierdie knoppie
herhaaldelik om deur die drie beskikbare
windsnelhede te blaai: LAAG (L), MEDIUM
(M) en HOOG (H).
KOEL-knoppie: Druk hierdie knoppie om die
koel lugvloei-funksie te aktiveer.
OSSILLEER (SWING)-knoppie: Druk hierdie
knoppie om horisontale (regs/links) ossillasie
aan te skakel. Jy kan die vertikale lugvloei
beheer deur die horisontale louvers op die
Verdampingslugkoeler handmatig aan te pas.
AAN/AF-knoppie: Wanneer jy klaar is met
die gebruik van die Verdampingslugkoeler,
druk hierdie knoppie om die toestel af te
skakel.
3.5. Na Gebruik
3.5.1. Wanneer jy klaar is met die Lugkoeler, druk
die AAN/AF-knoppie om die toestel af te skakel en
koppel dit dan van die kragtoevoer af.
3.5.2. Ons beveel aan dat jy die watertenk na
gebruik leegmaak. Plaas ‘n houer of emmer onder
die onderkant van die toestel en dreineer dit dan uit
die watertenk.
4. Skoonmaak:
Na ‘n tydperk van gebruik kan stof wat in die stoffil-
ter of verkoelingsblok opgehoop het, die lugvloei en
verkoelingsprestasie beïnvloed. Daarom word dit
aanbeveel om jou waaier gereeld skoon te maak.
Volg asseblief die stappe hieronder om jou toestel
skoon te maak.
Skakel altyd die eenheid af en ontkoppel die toes-
tel tydens vul-, skoonmaak- en onderhoudswerk.
4.1. Watertenk
4.1.1. Draai die watertenkslot na die horisontale
posisie en trek die tenk halfpad uit die behuising.
Let daarop dat die tenk nie heeltemal uit die behuis-
ing verwyder sal word nie. Moenie die tenk forseer
nie, aangesien dit skade of wanfunksionering sal
veroorsaak.
4.1.2. Gebruik sagte skoonmaakmiddels vir skoon-
maak. Was saggies met water en spoel af.
4.1.3. Draai die slot na die vertikale posisie om dit
terug te sluit.
4.2. Skoonmaak van die Buitekant
4.2.1. Maak die buitekant van die toestel (behalwe
die beheerpaneel) skoon met ‘n sagte, klam lap.
Moet nooit ‘n harde skoonmaakmiddel gebruik
wat die kas kan beskadig nie. Maak seker dat die
eenheid droog is voordat u dit gebruik.
4.2.2. Waarskuwing: DIE BEHEERPANEEL MOET
WEG VAN ENIGE WATERKONTAK GEHOU WORD.
Maak dit slegs skoon met ‘n sagte, droë lap.
5. Berging:
Bêre in ‘n geventileerde en skaduryke plek. Vermy

Read these instructions carefully before switching
on the appliance and keep them for future reference.
Failure to follow and observe these instructions

2.1. Use or working environment:
2.1.1. Keep the working area clean and well lit. Clut-
tered and dark areas invite accidents.
2.1.2. Use the appliance in a well-ventilated area.

2.3.7. Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
2.3.8. Never leave the appliance unattended when
in use and keep out of the reach of children, as
this is an electrical appliance that reaches high
temperatures and may cause serious burns. (if

2.3.9. If for some reason, the appliance were to
catch fire, disconnect the appliance from the mains
power supply and DO NOT USE WATER TO PUT THE
FIRE OUT.
2.3.10. Do not let the inlet or outlet be too close to
the wall, curtain and so on, or it will block the air
flow and affect the wind effect.
2.3.11. Do not cover the outlet and keep the air fan
away from the socket.
2.3.12. When the air cooler is working, forbid hand
or foreign body inserting the network (especially pay
attention to children).
2.3.13. Please do not put the working air cooler in
the declining position.
2.3.14. Please do not work air cooler when it is
outdoors, or around a bath (or shower, or pool).
2.3.15. At any time, the display of water level of
water tank must be less than “Max.” While the dis-
play of water level of water tank must be more than
“Min.” when air cooler is with cooling(humidifying)
function.
2.3.16. After the water tank is injected with fair
water, please not lean (or bump) air cooler when
remove air cooler.
2.3.17. Please do not put anything on the air cooler.
2.4. Service:
2.4.1. Make sure that the appliance is serviced only
by suitably qualified technician, and that only original
spare parts or accessories are used to replace exist-
ing parts/accessories.
2.4.2. If the power cord is damaged, the manu-
facturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person must replace it in order to avoid a hazard.
2.4.3. Any misuse or failure to follow the instruc-
tions for use renders the guarantee and the manu-
facturer’s liability null and void.
3. Operation
3.1. Before first use
3.1.1. Remove Protective Films: If your appliance
has a protective film, remove it completely.
3.1.2. Clean Components: Before using your air
cooler for the first time, clean all parts as described
in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section of this
manual.
3.2. Assembling the wheels:
3.2.1. To assemble the wheels, place the appliance
face down.
3.2.2. Stand the appliance up again to check
that the wheels work properly.
3.3. Initial Setup and Power
3.3.1. Placement: Place the Air Cooler on a level,
dry surface
3.3.2. Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank cover and
fill the tank with fresh cold water and/or ice. Keep an
eye on the water level indicator at the front of the ap-
pliance and ensure that you do not fill past the MAX
level. Add ice, if desired, for enhanced cooling.
3.3.3. Fill ice boxes with water and put them in the
freezer.
3.4. Using the Control Panel
To Turn On: To switch on the appliance, press
either the LOW (L), MEDIUM (M), or HIGH (H)
speed button. The unit will start operation at
the selected wind speed.
SPEED Button: Press this button repeatedly to
cycle through the three available wind speeds:
LOW (L), MEDIUM (M), and HIGH (H).
COOL Button: Press this button to activate the
cool airflow function.
OSCILLATE (SWING) Button: Press this
button to turn on horizontal (right/left) oscil-
lation. You can control the vertical airflow by
manually adjusting the horizontal louvers on
the Evaporative Air Cooler.
ON/OFF Button: When you have finished
using the Evaporative Air Cooler, press this
button to switch off the appliance.
3.5. After Use
3.5.1.When you have finished with the Air Cooler,
press the ON/OFF button to switch off the appliance,
then unplug it from the power supply.
3.5.2. We recommend emptying the water tank after
use. Place a container or bucket under the underside
of the appliance, then drain from the water tank.
4. Cleaning:
After a period of operation, dust accumulated in the
and cooling performance. Therefore, it is recom-
mended to clean your fan regularly. Please follow the
steps below to clean your device.
Always turn off the unit and unplug the appliance
during filling, cleaning, and maintenance work.
4.1. Water tank
4.1.1. Turn the water tank lock to the horizontal posi-
tion and pull the tank halfway out from the housing.

2.1.17. Moenie die kragkoord forseer nie. Moet nooit
die kragkoord gebruik om die toestel op te lig, te dra
of uit te trek nie.
2.1.18. Moenie die kragkoord om die toestel draai
nie.
2.1.19. Moenie die kragkoord knip of kreukel nie.
2.1.20. Moenie toelaat dat die kragkoord hang of in
aanraking kom met die warm oppervlaktes van die
toestel nie.
2.1.21. Kontroleer die toestand van die kragkoord.

2.3. Gebruik en sorg:
2.3.1. Rol die toestel se kragkabel volledig af voor
elke gebruik.
2.3.2. Moenie die toestel gebruik as die onderdele of
bykomstighede nie behoorlik gemonteer is nie.
2.3.3. Moenie die toestel omdraai terwyl dit gebruik
word of aan die hoofkragtoevoer gekoppel is nie.
2.3.4. Gebruik die toestel se handvatsel(s) om dit te
dra of te skuif.
2.3.5. Moenie die toestel omdraai terwyl dit gebruik
word of aan die hoofkrag gekoppel is nie.
2.3.6. Hierdie toestel moet buite bereik van kinders
gebêre word.

nie.

wanneer dit gebruik word nie en hou dit buite bereik

ingespuit is, moet die lugverkoeler asseblief nie
teen die lugverkoeler leun (of stamp) wanneer die
lugverkoeler verwyder word nie.
2.3.17. Moet asseblief niks op die lugverkoeler
plaas nie.
2.4. Diens:
2.4.1. Die toestel moet deur ‘n gekwalifiseerde
tegnikus gediens word.
2.4.2 As die koord beskadig word moet dit deur die
diessagent of ‘n gekwalifiseerde person vervang
word om brandgevaar te verhoed.
2.4.3.Enige misbruik en mislukking om instruksies
te volg lewer die waarborg nul en van gener waarde.
3. Bediening
3.1. Voor eerste gebruik
3.1.1. Verwyder beskermende films: Indien u toestel
‘n beskermende film het, verwyder dit heeltemal.
3.1.2. Maak komponente skoon: Voordat u u lug-
verkoeler vir die eerste keer gebruik, maak alle dele
skoon soos beskryf in die afdeling “Skoonmaak en
Onderhoud” van hierdie handleiding.
3.2. Montering van die wiele:
3.2.1. Om die wiele te monteer, plaas die toestel met
die gesig na onder.
3.2.2. Laat die toestel weer regop staan om te kyk of
die wiele behoorlik werk.
3.3. Aanvanklike opstelling en krag
3.3.1. Plasing: Plaas die lugverkoeler op ‘n gelyke,
droë oppervlak.
