purchasing a Mellerware product. Mellerware guarantees that your product

has been thoroughly inspected and tested before being dispatched and is free

from mechanical or electrical defects and complies with the applicable safety

standards. With every Mellerware product purchased you will receive up to a

3 year warranty as detailed in the terms and conditions below.

FIRST YEAR – 1 YEAR RETAIL WARRANTY

Should defects due to faulty parts or workmanship develop, under normal

domestic use, within 12 months from the original date of purchase please

return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a refund

or replacement at the discretion of the brand. Mellerware appliances are

intended for domestic use only and not for industrial or professional use. The

Warranty, if the product is used outside of domestic use or used in a com-

mercial envir onment, is reduced to 3 months with no extended warranty

available, all other terms and conditions applicable.

SECOND YEAR – OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EX-

TENDED ONLINE WARRANTY REGISTRATION

Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore oer an extended

12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail Warranty. Should de-

fects due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under normal domestic

use, after the initial 12 month period and within 24 months from the original

date of purchase, please return the product to Mellerware for repair. Meller-

ware will assess and repair the product free of charge should it be found to

be a valid warranty claim and will return it to you directly. Mellerware will

replace a product with a similar product in the same or

better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever reason.

Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will produce a

repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

COMMUNICATION OPT IN WARRANTY

Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore oer an addi-

tional 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail and 1 year online

registration warranty. Should defects due to faulty material or workmanship

develop, under normal domestic use, after the initial 12 month period, the

extended online registration 12 month period and within 36 months from

the original date of purchase, please return the product to Mellerware for

repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of charge should

it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to you directly.

Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the same or bet-

ter condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever reason. Should

the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will produce a repair and

delivery quotation for your approval.

Should you experience any technical diculties you are welcome to contact

our customer service line on 086 111 5006 and one of our consultants

will gladly assist with the online warranty registration and opt-in email

communication. Should you wish to qualify for the additional third year

extended warranty, you would need to have registered your warranty

within the first 12 months from date of purchase and subscribed to receive

brand communication. The extended warranty is conditional upon these

requirements. Please note that you are however free to opt out at any

stage in accordance with the POPI act, this will however result in you

forfeiting this additional extended “communication opt in” warranty from

the recorded opt-out date.

Before returning your product, check the following:

• Your household mains supply socket is in good condition, working and

switched on.

• The mains supply circuit is not overloaded (white trip switch on your

DB board is o).

• You have read the trouble shooting guide in your Instructions for Use.

• All accessories and parts are present.

The following conditions apply:

1. Please ensure you retain your original receipt as this must be presented

when making a claim under the terms of the warranty. It is impossible

to determine the warranty period without proof of purchase, so please

keep this in a safe place. (NB. Your original receipt can be scanned

onto the Mellerware website [www.mellerware.co.za] or Creative

Housewares (Pty) Ltd [www.creativehousewares.co.za] for safe storage.)

2. If a refund or exchange is required the product must be complete with

all accessories, parts and packaging. Missing parts will render the war-

ranty void. Any refund or exchange remains at the brands discretion

beyond the implied warranty granted by the CPA.

3. Upon receipt of your appliance, check it for any transport damage to

ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the store as soon as possible for

exchange if damaged. The warranty is void if products are damaged

after use, so please do not use a damaged product.

4. Any alteration made to the appliance purchased will void the warranty.

5. Your product is designed for normal domestic household use. Failure

to read and comply with the instructions for use, cleaning and mainte-

nance will render your warranty void, so please read these instructions

carefully to ensure your safety, and to get the most eective use from

the product (e.g. not removing limescale; water deposits; insect infesta-

tion, and/or burnt products).

6. Any abuse, negligent, improper or accidental use or care will render

the warranty void and Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd will not be liable

for any loss or damage.

7. Any attempted repair, or replacement of unauthorised parts will ren-

der the warranty void, so please contact an authorised service centre

or service agent for any service or repair requirements.

8. NB: The warranty on replaced products will be from the original date

of purchase and not from when the date replacement was made.

9. All repairs carry a 3 month warranty even if this falls outside of the

warranty period.

10. Mellerware will attempt to conduct repairs within reasonable time, this

in line with industry standards but cannot be held responsible or liable

for any circumstances not under the brand’s control.

11. This warranty does not apply to glass components, filters, consumables,

and other parts subject to fair wear and tear.

Repairs out of the warranty period:

If service or repair becomes necessary outside the warranty period, this

service is still available however all transport/postage, spares and labour costs

will be for the customers’ account. All chargeable repairs will require the

customers’ written acceptance of the quote. Once the go-ahead has been

received Mellerware will undertake to conduct the repair within a reasonable

time and maintain the condition of the product as received. All repairs carry

a warranty of 3 months from the date of the repair.

2. Veiligheidsadvies en waarskuwings!

Lees hierdie instruksies noukeurig deur voordat jy aanskakel

2.1. Gebruik of werksomgewing:

2.1.1. Hou die werkarea skoon en goed verlig. Deurmekaar

2.1.2. Gebruik die toestel in ‘n goed geventileerde area.

2.1.3. Moenie die toestel op warm oppervlaktes plaas nie

soos kookplate, gasbranders, oonde of soortgelyke items.

2.1.4. Hou kinders en omstanders weg wanneer dit gebruik word

hierdie toestel.

2.1.5. Plaas die toestel op ‘n horisontale, plat, stalm oppervlak

geskik om hoë temperature te weerstaan en weg van ander

hittebronne en kontak met water.

2.1.6. Hou die toestel weg van vlambare materiaal soos tekstiele,

gordyne, karton of papier, ens.

2.1.7. Moenie vlambare materiaal naby die toestel plaas nie.

2.1.8. Moenie die toestel in samewerking met ‘n programmeerder,

timer of ‘n ander toestel wat outomaties skakel dit aan.

2.1.9. Moenie die toestel gebruik as die kabel of prop is nie

beskadig.

2.1.10. Maak seker dat die spanning wat op die gradering

aangedui word

2.1.18. Moenie die kragkabel knip of kreukel nie.

2.1.19. Moenie toelaat dat die kragkoord hang of aan

in aanraking kom met die warm oppervlaktes van die toestel.

2.1.20. Kontroleer die toestand van die kragkabel. Beskadig of

verstrengelde kabels verhoog die risiko van elektriese skok.

2.1.21. Die toestel is nie geskik vir buite gebruik nie.

skade, en as die koord beskadig is, die toestel moet nie gebruik

service agent or a similarly qualified person must replace it in order

to avoid a hazard.

3. Instructions for use

3.1. Before use:

3.1.1. Remove the appliance’s protective film (if applicable).

3.1.2. Before using the product for the first time, clean in the man-

ner described in the cleaning section.

3.2. Instructions for use

3.2.1. Remove the appliance’s protective film (if applicable).

3.2.2. Fan is operated with a USB cable and rechargeable battery.

3.2.3. Charging:

•Insert the USB-C end into the USB-C Port on the side of the fan.

•Plug the cable into any USB port or wall adapter. Unit will be fully

charged after approximately 6 hours.

•A solid red light indicates that the fan is charging. A solid white

light indicates a full charge.

•Note: Fan can operate while charging.

3.2.4. Set-up table fan:

• Place the strap of the fan on your chest, then push the top part

of the fan towards your chest, and pull the top part of the fan up

to open the fan.

•Hold the base of the fan down with one hand and lift the top up

with the other hand.

•Bring the arm up.

• Push arm back until fully vertical.

3.2.5 set up floor fan

• Hold the base down and then pull the telescopic rob upwards to

fully extend the telescopic pole to your desired height.

3.2.6. Operation

• Press on/off.

• Press speed once for low, twice for medium, and three times for

high. Press again to return to low speed.

• Press Ocean breeze function which simulates a gentle outdoor

movement. Press once for low-medium, twice for medium to

high speed.

3.2.7. Timer

• Press once for two hours, press twice for three hours, press

three times for six hours.

•Light intensity will change to simulate the timer set.

• Press four times to return to the timer being off.

4. Cleaning:

4.1. Clean the outer parts of the appliance with a damp cloth with

a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry. CAUTION! Do not

immerse electrical parts of the appliance in any liquid.

4.2 Cleaning the fan blade:

• Always make sure the device is turned off before cleaning

• Twist the grille cover counter clock wise to unlock it

• Clean off any dust from the grille or fan blade using a soft

damp cloth.

•Place grille cover back on, align the grooves on the fan and cover,

turn clock wise to lock into place.

4.3. Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such

as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.

5. Storage:

•Lower telescopic arm all the way down.

plaas onnodige spanning op die motor en kan veroorsaak

die motor om uit te brand.

2.3.16. Hou asseblief die suiginlaat weg van die oorarea

as gevolg van oormatige geraasvlakke wanneer dit in werking is.

2.4. Diens:

2.4.1. Maak seker dat die toestel slegs gediens word

deur toepaslik gekwalifiseerde tegnikus, en dit slegs oorspronklik

onderdele of bykomstighede word gebruik om bestaande te

vervang

onderdele/bykomstighede.

2.4.2. As die kragkabel beskadig is, moet die vervaardiger

of sy diensagent of ‘n soortgelyke gekwalifiseerde persoon moet

vervang dit om ‘n gevaar te vermy.

vir gebruik lewer die waarborg en die vervaardiger s’n

3. Instruksies vir gebruik

3.1. Voor gebruik:

3.1.1. Verwyder die apparaat se beskermingsfilm (indien van

toepassing).

3.1.2. Voor die gebruik van die produk vir die eerste keer, maak

skoon soos beskryf in die skoonmaak afdeling.

3.2. Instruksies vir gebruik:

3.2.1. Verwyder die apparaat se beskermingsfilm (indien van

toepassing).

3.2.2. Waaier werk met ‘n USB-kabel en herlaaibare battery.

3.2.3. Laai:

• Steek die USB-C-kant in die USB-C-poort aan die kant van die

waaier.

• Steek die kabel in enige USB-poort of muuradapter. Eenheid sal

volledig gelaai wees na ongeveer 6 ure.

• ‘n Soliede rooi lig dui aan dat die waaier besig is om te laai. ‘n

Soliede wit lig dui op ‘n volle lading.

• Nota: Waaier kan werk terwyl dit laai.

3.2.4. Stel tafelwaaier op:

• Plaas die band van die waaier op jou bors, druk dan die boonste

deel van die waaier na jou bors, en trek die boonste deel van die

waaier op om die waaier oop te maak.

• Hou die basis van die waaier af met een hand en lig die boonste

deel op met die ander hand.

• Lig die arm op.

• Druk die arm terug totdat dit volledig vertikaal is.

3.2.5. Opstelling vloerwaaier:

• Plaas die band van die waaier op jou bors, druk dan die boonste

gedeelte van die waaier na jou bors toe, en trek die boonste

gedeelte van die waaier op om die waaier oop te maak.

• Hou die basis van die waaier met een hand vas en lig die bokant

op met die ander hand.

• Bring die arm op.

• Druk arm terug tot heeltemal vertikaal.

• Hou die basis af en trek dan die teleskopiese staaf opwaarts om

die teleskopiese paal tot jou gewenste hoogte volledig uit te trek..

3.2.6. Gebruik

• Druk aan/af.

• Druk spoed een keer vir laag, twee keer vir medium, en drie keer

vir hoog. Druk weer om na lae spoed terug te keer.

• Druk 0seaan-funksie wat ‘n sagte buiteligbeweging simuleer.

Druk een keer vir laag-medium, twee keer vir medium-hoë spoed.

3.2.7 Tydhouer

• Druk een keer vir twee ure, druk twee keer vir drie ure, druk drie

keer vir ses ure.

• Ligintensiteit sal verander om die timer-instelling te simuleer.

• Druk vier keer om die timer af te skakel.

4. Skoonmaak:

4.1.Maak die buitekant van die apparaat skoon met ‘n klam

lap met ‘n paar druppels skottelgoedseep en droog dit dan af.
