REGISTER YOUR MELLERWARE WARRANTY
Thank you for purchasing a Mellerware product. Mellerware guarantees
that your product has been thoroughly inspected and tested before being
dispatched and is free from mechanical or electrical defects and complies
with the applicable safety standards. With every Mellerware product
purchased you will receive up to a 3 year warranty as detailed in the terms
and conditions below.
FIRST YEAR – 1 YEAR RETAIL WARRANTY
Should defects due to faulty parts or workmanship develop, under normal
domestic use, within 12 months from the original date of purchase please
return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a refund
or replacement at the discretion of the brand. Mellerware appliances are
intended for domestic use only and not for industrial or professional use.
The Warranty, if the product is used outside of domestic use or used in a
commercial environment, is reduced to 3 months with no extended war-
ranty available, all other terms and conditions applicable.
SECOND YEAR – OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
ONLINE WARRANTY REGISTRATION
Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an
extended 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail Warranty.
Should defects due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under normal
domestic use, after the initial 12 month period and within 24 months from
the original date of purchase, please return the product to Mellerware for
repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of charge should
it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to you directly.
Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the same or
better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever reason.
Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will produce a
repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

Should you experience any technical difculties you are welcome to
contact our customer service line on 086 111 5006 and one of our
consultants will gladly assist with the online warranty registration. Should
you not register the product within the 12 months of purchase, you will
automatically forfeit this extended warranty.
THIRD YEAR – OPTIONAL 1 YEAR ADDITIONAL EXTENDED
COMMUNICATION OPT IN WARRANTY
Mellerware takes pride in its product quality and therefore offer an addi-
tional 12 month warranty over and above the 1 Year Retail and 1 year
online registration warranty. Should defects due to faulty material or
workmanship develop, under normal domestic use, after the initial 12 month
period, the extended online registration 12 month period and within 36
months from the original date of purchase, please return the product to
Mellerware for repair. Mellerware will assess and repair the product free of
charge should it be found to be a valid warranty claim and will return it to
you directly. Mellerware will replace a product with a similar product in the
same or better condition, if the repair cannot be conducted for whatever
reason. Should the product fall outside of the warranty, Mellerware will
produce a repair and delivery quotation for your approval.

opt-in email communication. Should you wish to qualify for the additional
third year extended warranty, you would need to have registered your
warranty within the rst 12 months from date of purchase and subscribed
to receive brand communication. The extended warranty is conditional
upon these requirements. Please note that you are however free to opt
out at any stage in accordance with the POPI act, this will however result
in you forfeiting this additional extended “communication opt in” warranty
from the recorded opt-out date.
Before returning your product, check the following:
•Your household mains supply socket is in good condition, working and
switched on.
• The mains supply circuit is not overloaded (white trip switch on your
DB board is off).
•You have read the trouble shooting guide in your Instructions for Use.
•All accessories and parts are present.
The following conditions apply:
1. Please ensure you retain your original receipt as this must be
presented when making a claim under the terms of the warranty.
It is impossible to determine the warranty period without proof of
purchase, so please keep this in a safe place. (NB. Your original receipt
can be scanned onto the Mellerware website [www.mellerware.co.za]
or Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd [www.creativehousewares.co.za]
for safe storage.)
2. If a refund or exchange is required the product must be complete
with all accessories, parts and packaging. Missing parts will render the
warranty void. Any refund or exchange remains at the brands discre-
tion beyond the implied warranty granted by the CPA.
3. Upon receipt of your appliance, check it for any transport damage to
ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the store as soon as possible for
exchange if damaged. The warranty is void if products are damaged
after use, so please do not use a damaged product.
4. Any alteration made to the appliance purchased will void the warranty.
5. Your product is designed for normal domestic household use. Failure
to read and comply with the instructions for use, cleaning and
maintenance will render your warranty void, so please read these
instructions carefully to ensure your safety, and to get the most effec-
tive use from the product (e.g. not removing limescale; water deposits;
insect infestation, and/or burnt products).
6. Any abuse, negligent, improper or accidental use or care will render
the warranty void and Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd will not be
liable for any loss or damage.
7. Any attempted repair, or replacement of unauthorised parts will ren-
der the warranty void, so please contact an authorised service centre
or service agent for any service or repair requirements.
8. NB: The warranty on replaced products will be from the original date
of purchase and not from when the date replacement was made.
9. All repairs carry a 3 month warranty even if this falls outside of the
warranty period.
10. Mellerware will attempt to conduct repairs within reasonable time,
this in line with industry standards but cannot be held responsible or
liable for any circumstances not under the brand’s control.
11. This warranty does not apply to glass components, lters, consum-
ables, and other parts subject to fair wear and tear.
Repairs out of the warranty period:
If service or repair becomes necessary outside the warranty period, this
service is still available however all transport/postage, spares and labour
costs will be for the customers’ account. All chargeable repairs will require
the customers’ written acceptance of the quote. Once the go-ahead has
been received Mellerware will undertake to conduct the repair within a
reasonable time and maintain the condition of the product as received. All
repairs carry a warranty of 3 months from the date of the repair.

2. Belangrike veiligheidsvoorsorg:
Lees instruksies deeglik en bewaar. Versuim om hierdie instruksies te volg

2.1. Gebruik en werksomgewing:

verwyder oorblywende water uit die toerusting en watertenk elke keer na
drie dae van gebruik.
2.2.11. Maak die tenk leeg en vul dit elke 72 uur, voor hervulling, skoon met
vars kraanwater of skoonmaakmiddels indien vereis deur die vervaardiger.
Verwyder enige skaal, afsettings, of film wat op die kante van die tenk of op

2. Safety advice and warnings!
Read these instructions carefully before switching on the ap-
pliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe
these instructions could lead to an accident. Clean all the parts of the
product that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the cleaning section,
before use.
2.1. Use or working environment:
2.1.1. This appliance is designed solely for domestic use and for the
designated purpose.
2.1.2. Do not use the appliance outdoors (unless it has been specifically
designed for outdoor use).
2.1.3. Use the appliance in a well ventilated area.
2.1.4. Do not subject the appliance to heat, direct sunshine or very high
moisture (e.g. rain).
2.1.5. Never immerse the appliance in liquids and be aware of sharp edges
that may damage it.
2.1.6. Never use the appliance with wet or damp hands. Unplug it immedi-
ately if it becomes wet or damp when it is running.
2.1.7. Keep children and bystanders away when using this appliance.
2.1.8. Do not use the appliance in association with a programmer, timer or
other device that automatically switches it on.
2.1.9. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
2.1.10. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the
mains power supply voltage before plugging in the appliance.

2.2.2. Do not touch the heated parts of the appliance, as it may cause

2.2.3. This appliance is only for domestic use, not for indus-trial or profes-
sional use. It is not intended to be used by guests in hospitality environments
such as bed and breakfast, hotels, motels, and other types of residential
environments, even in farm houses, areas of the kitchen staff in shops,
offices and other work environments.
2.2.4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
2.2.5. This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological
organisms in the environment.
2.2.6. Do not permit the area around the appliance to become damp or wet.
If dampness occurs, turn the output of the humidifier down. If the humidifier
output volume cannot be turned down, use the appliance intermittently.
Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or
tablecloths, to become damp.
2.2.7. Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
2.2.8. Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
2.2.9. Empty and clean the humidifier before storage, clean the humidifier
before next use.
2.2.10. Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the environ-
ment where the appliances is used or stored, can grow in the water reservoir
and be blown in the air causing very serious health risks when the water is
not renewed. To prevent nucleation, remove residual water from the equip-
ment and water tank every time after three days of use.
2.2.11. Empty the tank and refill it every 72 hours, before refilling, clean
it with fresh tap water or cleaning agents if required by the manufacturer.
Remove and scale, deposits, or film that has formed on the sides of the tank
or on interior surfaces. And wipe all surfaces dry.
2.2.12. Warning! Never use without the guards in place. After assembly, do
not remove the guards during use or cleaning.
2.3. Use and care:
2.3.1. Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to the
mains power supply.
2.3.2. Do not block the inlet or outlet ports.
2.3.3. Unplug the appliance from the mains power supply when not in use
and before undertaking any cleaning task.
2.3.4. This appliance should be stored out of reach of children.
2.3.5. Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
2.3.6. Never leave the appliance unattended when in use and keep out of
the reach of children.
2.3.7. The appliance should not be exposed to heat.
2.3.8. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket after use and
before every cleaning. Pull the plug, not the mains cable, in order to discon-
nect the appliance from the mains.
2.3.9. If, for some reason, the appliance were to catch fire, disconnect the
appliance from the mains power supply and DO NOT USE WATER TO PUT
THE FIRE OUT.
2.4. Service:
2.4.1. Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by suitably qualified
technician, and that only original spare parts or accessories are used to
replace existing parts/accessories.
2.4.2. If the power cord is damaged, the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person must replace it in order to avoid a hazard.
2.4.3. Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the
guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability null and void.
3. Instructions for use:
3.1. Before use:
Your mist fan has been boxed unassembled to minimize packaging waste.
Each part is designed to fit together and be disassembled easily for cleaning
or storage.
• Carefully unpack the misting fan and remove all the packing materials.
• Image I, Please check whether there are any See Parts description,
missing parts, and the mist fan can be assembled only when the parts
are complete.
• Use a soft cloth to remove any dust on the surface that may happen
during packing and transport.
• Place the mist fan on a flat and stable surface.
3.2. Assembly :
3.2.1. , Image II, unscrew the screw of the short iron See images section
pipe, and then pass the wire through the long iron pipe. Then put the long
iron pipe on the short iron pipe. Align the screw hole of the iron pipe on the
base, fix it with the unscrewed screws.
3.2.2. See Image III, Install the weight plate on the base first, and fasten it
with the M5x25 screws. Cover the metal rod of the 5 wheels with the 5 black
plastic sleeves and insert them in the holes under the base.
3.2.3. See Image V, Loosen the fixing screw of the fan body, and then
plug the fan body terminal and the terminal wire in the iron pipe. Tighten
the screw.
3.2.4. See Image VI, Install the rear grid, plastic nut, blades, and blade spin-
ner to the motor shaft and fix in place.
3.2.5. See Image VII,VIII and IX, Install the front grid and net frame, and
secure using the screw on the net frame. Inset the upper flexible hose into
the mist vent that is located at the front of the fan grid (ensure the hose is
free of kinks).
3.3. Water tank assembly:
3.3.1. , Image IV, Put the water tank on the mist genera-See images section
tor, ensuring it is appropriately seated in the recess.
3.3.2. Fit the cover to the top of the water tank.
3.3.3. Insert the lower flexible hose of the fan body into the water tank cover
(ensure the hose is free of kinks).
3.4. Filling the water tank:
3.4.1. , Image X or XI, take off the cover of the water See images section
tank.
3.4.2. Fill the tank with cold and clean water, making sure not to overfill it.
3.4.3.See Image IV, put the cover on the tank and place the tank back on
the mist generator.
ATTENTION!
• Ensure the product is unplugged from the mains before filling or refilling
the water tank.
• Only use water in the water tank. Do not add any chemicals, oils, or
other additives.
• The water must not be warmer than 50°C.
3.5. Operation of the fan:
When connected to the power supply, the fan is under standby mode. You
can control the fan with the control buttons or remote.

3.5.2. Mist button:
• Press the “Mist” button to switch the ultrasonic mist on. Adjust the mist
volume (Max-Medium-Minimum) by pressing the “Mist” button several
times.
• When the mist function is selected, the water tank indicator light will be
illuminated green.
• If the water tank is empty (or short of water), the water tank indicator light
will be illuminated red.
• The mist function and fan function can be worked independently or
together.
3.5.3. Timer button:
Press the “Timer” button when the fan is on. The indicator will show the
time remaining until the fan is due to switch off. You can select the length of
time the fan will be in operation from spans ranging from 0.5 to 7.5 hours in
0.5-hour increments. Press the TIMER button repeatedly, and the sum of the
values of the lights is the remaining time until shut down.
3.5.4. Wind speed buttons:
• Press the Power “ON/OFF” button to switch the fan ON.
• Set the fan speed from three options (Low-Medium-High) by pressing the
“WIND SPEED” button several times. The LED light will show low speed,
Medium speed and high speed Correspondingly.
3.5.5. Mode button:
• The wind mode can be adjusted by pressing the “MODE” button.
• Normal: The fan will operate in High, Medium or Low mode as set.
• Natural: The fan will operate at low, medium and high speeds in different
patterns to provide a wind flow that replicated natural airflow.
• Sleep: Sleep mode can operate at low, medium and high speeds. In sleep
mode, the wind speed will decrease in set patterns before operating at a low
speed until shut down.
3.5.6. On/Off button:
• Press the “ON/OFF” button to switch the fan on or off.
• Every 72 hours, the control panel lights flash to indicate that the water tank
needs to be cleaned. Press the “ON/OFF” button 5 seconds to reset
3.5.7. Oscillating button:
• When you press the “OSC” button, the mist fan head will move continu-
ously from side to side. Pressing the button again will stop the oscillation
of the mist fan.
4. Cleaning and maintenance:
4.1.1. Always turn off your appliance and unplug before attempting any
cleaning or maintenance process.
4.1.2. Clean the water tank and water every 72 hours to prevent the formation
of scale, algae, or bacteria.
4.1.3. If you do not intend to use the fan for an extended period, empty the
water tank and dry the water unit with a microfiber cloth.
4.1.4. See images section, Image XIV, pull out the rubber stopper(1) from the
drain outlet(2) to drain the water from the humidifier base.
4.1.5. If the fan will be placed in storage for a more extended period of time
(over winter, etc), keep it safe and away from dust or damage.
4.1.6. Do not use any abrasive substances or chemical solvents to clean
the appliance.
5. Anomalies and repair:
5.1. Take the appliance to an authorised support centre if product is dam-
aged or other problems arise.
