INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: NEVER PLUG IN THE FAN
WHEN IT IS TAKEN APART, THIS MAY

AND SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING THIS FAN.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
– Use the fan only as described in this
manual.
– This product is intended for household use
only.
– Not for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use.
– Do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water
or any other liquids.
– Do not spray the fan with liquids.
– Do not cover the fan.
– Do not use in humid spaces or near a sink.
– Do not use in the presence of explosive
and/or ammable fumes.
– Do not place the article or any part of it
near open re or another heat source.
– Always place out of reach of children.
– Always place on a stable surface.
– Remove all objects in the direct vicinity
of the article in order not to block the
swerving mechanism.
– Never put anything through the ventilation
cage and always keep under supervision
when switched on.
– Do not place near an open window.
– This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children under 8 years)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliances by a person responsible
for their safety. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Always unplug from the socket when:
– not in use
– moving the article from one location to
another
– maintaining or servicing parts
– cleaning the article
Do not use when:
– plug or cord are damaged.
– the fan has fallen.
– the fan is not functioning properly.
– the fan is damaged in any way.
– Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall or
ceiling.
– Do not operate the fan if the grills are not
properly placed.
– When the cord is damaged it must be
replaced by a certied electrician.
ASSEMBLY
Turn the appliance upside down. Clip the two halves of
the base together, passing the mains cable though the
hole in the center. Fix the base to the fan body using the
three screws provided.
Fix the mains cable into the clip and pass through the slot
in the edge of the base as shown. Return the appliance to
the upright position.
OPERATION
– If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the
lead is rated at 3 Amp or more, and that it is fully unwound.
– If any other appliances are connected to the same
extension lead, make sure that it is rated for the total
power of all appliances connected.
– Switch the appliance on at the mains socket.
– Use the rotary switch to select the speed required:
1 = Low Speed
2 = Medium Speed
3 = High Speed
– Switch the rotary switch to "OFF" to turn the fan o.
– Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use.
– Turn the rotary switch to 1 <--> 2 <--> 3 to turn the
oscillation on. Turn the rotary switch to "OFF" to switch
the oscillation o.
MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, turn the appliance o, and disconnect
it from the mains supply.
2. The appliance may then be cleaned using a damp cloth
with a drop of washing-up liquid to remove any dust or
dirt from the case.
3. Do no use stronger detergents or solvents as these may
damage the paint nish.
4. Using a dry 1" (25mm) paint-brush, remove any dust
from the grilles.
If the mains lead is damaged, the article must be disposed
of.
THE ENVIRONMENT
When this product reaches the end of its useful life, hand
it in at a collection point for the recycling of electric and
electronic equipment. Please refer to the symbols on the
product, the user instructions or the packaging. Contact
your municipality for the address of the appropriate
collection point in your neighborhood.

VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
– Gebruik de ventilator alleen zoals staat
beschreven in deze gebruiksaanwijzing.
– Dit product is alleen geschikt voor
huishoudelijke gebruik.
– Dit product is niet geschikt voor buiten of
voor commerciĂŤle en industriĂŤle doeleinden.
– Dompel dit product nooit onder in water of
een andere vloeistof.
– Sproei geen vloeistoen over de ventilator.
– Dit product niet afdekken.
– Plaats dit product niet in een vochtige
ruimte of vlak naast een wastafel.
– Dit product niet gebruiken in aanwezigheid
van explosieve en/of ontvlambare
dampen.
– Plaats dit product of een deel ervan nooit
bij open vuur of andere warmtebronnen.
– Plaats dit product buiten bereik van
kinderen.
– Plaats dit product altijd op een stabiele
ondergrond.
– Verwijder alle voorwerpen uit de
directe omgeving van dit product zodat
het zwenkmechanisme niet wordt
geblokkeerd.
– Steek nooit iets door het ventilatorrooster
en houd toezicht als de ventilator is
ingeschakeld.
– Plaats dit product niet bij een open raam.
– Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik
door personen (waaronder kinderen onder
8 jaar) met verminderde lichamelijke,
zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens,
of die gebrek aan ervaring of kennis
hebben, tenzij er iemand aanwezig is die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid,
toezicht op hen houdt, of hen heeft
uitgelegd hoe het apparaat dient te
worden gebruikt. Kinderen mogen niet
met het apparaat spelen. Schoonmaak en
onderhoud mag niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen zonder toezicht.

De stekker dient uit het stopcontact te
worden verwijderd:
– wanneer de ventilator niet in gebruik is.
– wanneer deze wordt verplaatst.
– wanneer er onderhoud wordt gepleegd
aan de ventilator.
– wanneer de ventilator wordt
schoongemaakt.
Gebruik de ventilator niet:
– wanneer de stekker of het snoer is
beschadigd.
– wanneer de ventilator is gevallen.
– wanneer de ventilator niet goed
functioneert.
– wanneer de ventilator op welke wijze dan
ook is beschadigd.
– Dit product niet ophangen of aan een
muur of plafond bevestigen.
– Dit product niet in gebruik nemen als
de ventilatorroosters niet correct op hun
plaats zitten.
– Als het snoer is beschadigd dient het
te worden vervangen door een erkend
elektricien.
MONTAGE
Draai het apparaat ondersteboven. Klik de twee helften
van de basis in elkaar, zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer door
de opening in het midden steekt. Bevestig de basis aan de
onderkant van de ventilator met de drie schroeven.
Bevestig het netsnoer in de clip en in de sleuf aan de rand
van de basis, zoals afgebeeld. Draai het apparaat rechtop.
GEBRUIK
– Let erop dat bij gebruik van een verlengsnoer het snoer
geschikt is voor 3 Amp of meer, en dat het volledig
afgewikkeld is.
– Als er andere apparaten zijn aangesloten op hetzelfde
verlengsnoer, let er dan op dat het geschikt is voor het
totale vermogen van alle aangesloten toestellen.
– Steek de stekker van het verlengsnoer in het
stopcontact.
– Gebruik de draaiknop om de gewenste snelheid te
selecteren:
1 = lage snelheid
2 = medium snelheid
3 = hoge snelheid
– Draai de draaiknop op "OFF" om de ventilator uit te
schakelen.
– Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer de
ventilator niet in gebruik is.
– Draai de draaiknop op 1 <--> 2 <--> 3 om het
zwenken in te schakelen. Draai naar "OFF" om uit te
schakelen.
ONDERHOUD
1. Schakel voor het reinigen het apparaat uit en trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Het apparaat kan vervolgens worden gereinigd met
een vochtige doek met een druppel afwasmiddel om
stof of vuil van de behuizing te verwijderen.
3. Gebruik geen sterkere reinigingsmiddelen of oplosmid-
delen, aangezien deze de lak kunnen beschadigen.
4. Verwijder met behulp van een droog 25mm (1")
penseel stof uit de roosters.
Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet het artikel worden
afgevoerd.
HET MILIEU
Wanneer dit product het einde van zijn levensduur heeft
bereikt, inleveren bij een inzamelpunt voor hergebruik
van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Let op de
verwijzingen en symbolen op het product, in de instructie
of op de verpakking. Neem contact op met uw gemeente
voor het adres van het daarvoor bestemde inzamelpunt
in uw buurt.

VOR GEBRAUCH DES VENTILATORS UND
BEWAHREN SIE DIESE AUF.
SICHERHEITSVORKEHRUNGEN
– Schließen Sie den Ventilator nur an
eine Steckdose mit Schutzleiter und mit
der Spannung an, die auf dem Gerät
angegeben ist.
– Verwenden Sie den Ventilator nur, wie in
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben.
– Dieses Gerät ist NUR für den Gebrauch im
Haushalt bestimmt.
– Nicht für kommerzielle, industrielle
Zwecke oder fĂźr den Gebrauch im Freien.
– Um einen elektrischen Schlag zu
vermeiden, tauchen Sie das Gerät, den
Stecker oder das Netzkabel niemals ins
Wasser oder in eine andere FlĂźssigkeit.
– Besprühen Sie den Ventilator nicht mit
FlĂźssigkeiten.
– Decken Sie den Ventilator nicht ab.
– Benutzen Sie ihn nicht in feuchter
Umgebung oder in der Nähe eines
Waschbeckens.
– Benutzen Sie ihn nicht in Gegenwart von
explosiven und/oder leicht entzĂźndlichen
Dämpfen.
– Stellen Sie das Gerät oder ein Einzelteil
davon nicht in die Nähe eines oenen
Feuers oder einer anderen Wärmequelle.
– Immer außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern aufbewahren.
– Immer auf eine ebene Fläche stellen.
– Entfernen Sie alle Gegenstände in der
direkten Umgebung des Geräts, um den
Schwenkmechanismus nicht zu blockieren.
– Stecken Sie niemals etwas durch das
LĂźftungsgitter und beaufsichtigen Sie das
Gerät, wenn es eingeschaltet ist.
– Nicht neben ein oenes Fenster stellen.
– Dieses Gerät darf nicht von Personen
(einschließlich Kindern unter 8 Jahren)
mit eingeschränkten kÜrperlichen,
sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten
oder fehlenden Erfahrungen und
Kenntnissen verwendet werden,
es sei denn, sie wurden von einer
verantwortlichen Person mit der
Benutzung der Geräte beaufsichtigt oder
fĂźr Ihre Sicherheit instruiert. Kinder dĂźrfen
nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung
und Wartung darf nicht von Kindern ohne
Aufsicht durchgefĂźhrt werden.
Immer den Stecker ziehen wenn:
– nicht im Betrieb
– das Gerät von einem Ort an einen anderen
gestellt wird
– Teile gewartet werden und bevor
– das Gerät gereinigt wird
Nicht benutzen wenn:
– Stecker oder Netzkabel beschädigt sind.
– das Gerät umgefallen ist.
– das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktioniert.
– das Gerät in irgendeiner Form beschädigt
ist.
– Den Ventilator nicht an eine Wand oder an
die Decke hängen.
– Nicht ohne ordnungsgemäß montierte
LĂźftungsgitter betreiben.
– Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muß
es durch einen anerkannten Elektriker
ausgetauscht werden.
