• Avoid applying mechanical stress to the battery.

• Keep the product away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, such as near radiators or

other heat sources.

• Never expose the battery to fire or water.

• Stop using the product if the battery shows signs of leakage, swelling, or damage.

• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause chemical burns. Use protective gloves when handling and

avoid contact with skin, eyes, or mucous membranes.

• If battery acid contacts the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek

medical attention.

• Do not exceed the recommended charging time. Overcharging can lead to overheating and reduce

battery lifespan.

• Do not charge the product via the magnetic connection or through any magnetic power bank.

Always charge only through the USB-C charging port.

• Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep

away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate.

• Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.

• Call a local poison control center for treatment information.

• Use only 3V CR2025 coin cell batteries for this remote control. Do not insert any other coin cell

battery types.

• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

• Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 158 °F / 70 °C or incinerate. Doing so may

result in injury due to venting, leakage or explosion resulting in chemical burns.

• Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).

• Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon-

zinc, or rechargeable batteries.

• Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close

securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.

• Battery operated fans with integral batteries or a separate/detachable battery pack shall be

recharged only with the specified charger for the battery. A charger that may be suitable for one

type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.

• Use the battery operated fan only with specifically designated battery pack. Use of any other

batteries may create a risk of fire.

• When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects such as paper clips, coins,

keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to

another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause sparks, burns, or a fire.

• Do not incinerate this fan, even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.

Dispose of the fan in accordance with the following instructions explained in chapter DiSpOSaL

iNStRuctiONS.

• Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended

period of time according to local regulations.

4.3 GENERaL SafEty iNStRuctiONS

»There is a risk of electric shock/short circuit due to live parts.

• The product must not be immersed in water or other liquids or come into contact with them. Risk of

electric shock! Therefore, do not use the device near sources of moisture such as a sink or outdoors.

• Do not use the product in rooms with high humidity (e.g. bathroom, sauna).

• Do not use the product outdoors when raining.

• Do not use the product if the product is damaged or if the product has been dropped.

• Do not operate the product with wet hands.

• Do not make any modifications to the product.

• Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified service center. Also refer to the enclosed warranty

conditions.

• Do not use this product near bathtubs, swimming pools, shower trays, or other containers filled with

water. Risk of electric shock!

• Operate the product only indoors.

medical attention and inform the medical authorities that you suspect battery ingestion.

• It’s not always clear when a child has swallowed a button battery, as there are no specific symptoms.

However, they might:

−cough, gag, or drool;

−seem to have a stomach bug or virus;

−vomit;

−complain of pain in their stomach, chest, or throat;

−appear tired or sluggish; and

−lose their appetite.

• Since the signs aren’t obvious, it’s important to keep a close eye on loose, used, or spare button

batteries in your home, as well as the products that contain them.

• Do not short-circuit, disassemble, or attempt to open the battery. This may cause overheating, fire,

or explosion.

• This product contains a built-in rechargeable battery, which is not replaceable. When the battery

reaches the end of its life, dispose of the entire product properly in accordance with local regulations.
