13. Do not bend the LED inside the lightstrip more than 90 degrees to avoid damaging the product.

14. Do not connect the lightstrip to any power supply while it is in the package.

15. Do not connect parts of this lighting chain with parts of another manufacturer’s lighting chain.

16. Connections should only be made using the supplied connectors, and any open end should be sealed oﬀ

before use.

Link a Mi Device with Google Assistant

Factory Reset

Add the Mi Home service to the Google Assistant app, to control devices connected to Mi Home from

Google Assistant.

1. Tap in the Google Assistant app, search for “Mi Home”, tap “Link”, and sign in with your Xiaomi account.

2. Tap in Seings > Home control to add a device, and follow the on-screen instructions. Once the

accounts are linked, you can control the Mi device from Google Assistant.

Link a Mi Device with Amazon Alexa

Add the Mi Home skill to the Amazon Alexa app, to control devices connected to Mi Home from Amazon

Alexa.

1. Tap in the Amazon Alexa app, then tap “Skills & Games”, search for “Mi Home”, select the correct skill and

tap “Enable”. Then sign in with your Xiaomi account.

2. Aer successfully linking the accounts, tap DISCOVER DEVICES to add the device, and follow the on-screen

instructions. Once the accounts are linked, you can control the Mi device from Amazon Alexa.

Unplug the power adapter, press the power buon and plug in the adapter again. Hold the buon for 5

seconds until the lightstrip starts circulating through the colors red, green and blue, then release the

buon. The reset has been completed when the light turns yellow. This procedure is required each

time you use a diﬀerent Wi-Fi network.
