INTRODUCTION

The VL550BK-F-FC and VL550M-F-FC IP Text

Sign with Speaker and Flashers provides highly

visible message output and voice paging and/or

intercom over an Ethernet network. Messages are

created and delivered from a Valcom Site Manager

server, Engineered Solutions Application server, or

Interactive Console. Audio-only messages can be

created from any Valcom IP Paging source.

SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) compatibility allows

flexibility for talkback/intercom connections. An

optional call switch can be used to initiate intercom

calls from the VL550-FC to a Valcom or SIP

destination.
