Installation

• To connect the hose assembly to the system, grip the knurled

male end of the hose and push it firmly into the quick-connector

until you hear an audible click.

• To disconnect the hose, grip the knurled collar on the

quick-connector and push forward to release.

ENWARNING

Do not install this product in any location where water spray can come into contact with live electrical connections.

This product is designed for connection to an RV or marine water system powered by a pressurised diaphragm pump. If using

a submersible pump, a suitable power switch must be installed within reach of the shower connection. Always switch o

power to the submersible pump after each use to prevent damage to both the product and the pump.

This product is designed for use with pressurised water systems of up to 8BAR (165PSI). It is recommended that the water

system pressure is regulated to 2-3.5BAR (30-50PSI) by an accumulator or similar device.

Do not connect to a high-pressure residential water supply.

This product is only designed for use with the provided hose assembly. However, the provided sprayer head can be changed

for any suitable 1/2” BSP threaded shower head if desired.

Ensure the provided coiled shower hose is free of obstructions or kinks during use. Do not overextend beyond the 3m (10ft)

uncoiled length to prevent damage to the hose components.

Water temperature used with this product should not exceed 50°C (120°F) at the sprayer end. On board water heaters must

be adjusted to a safe level to prevent burning and damage to the product or user.

Before drilling any holes, ensure the cutting template is correct to scale and the area behind the mounting location is clear of

wires, fuel and all other hazardous objects.

Ensure any holes cut will not significantly weaken the structure of the mounting surface.

The IP protection rating is only valid if the installation is carried out correctly according to the instructions and on a perfectly

flat, smooth and non-porous surface.

IP68 & IP69K waterproof, only when the lid is fully closed. With the lid open, splash-resistant only and must not be exposed to

water jets or submerged.

Do not leave the lid in an open position when driving/underway, this may damage the product and the mounting surface.

When choosing a mounting location, avoid areas exposed to heat radiation devices, with poor ventilation or an area that can

become submerged.

This product must be mounted strictly in accordance with the provided mounting template.

DRAINING SYSTEM FOR WINTER STORAGE

It is recommended that this product and the connected water system be fully drained during winter and extended periods

of inactivity.

To do this:

• Isolate or turn o the water supply to the shower system.

• Remove the sprayer head from the hose assembly (be sure not to lose the seal) and connect the hose to the quick

connection point.

• Allow the water to fully drain, then disconnect the hose.

• Refer to the vehicle or device manufacturer’s guidelines for draining other elements of the water system.

PLUMBING

This product should only be installed by a qualified professional.

Connect this product to the water system using vibration-resistant connections suitable for RV-use and flexible or semi-rigid

hose/pipe.

Ensure water system is fully drained before installation.

• Cut out drilling template

• Tape to mounting surface

• Use template to drill 1x ø95mm (3 ¾”) hole and

4x appropriately sized pilot holes based on the

pilot drill table provided.

• Remove template and clean mounting surface

Install an isolating valve between this product and the water supply to facilitate servicing and winterizing.

IMPORTANT

The lid must remain securely latched closed when not in use. Scanstrut Ltd accepts no liability for any product

malfunction as a result of the lid being left open when not in use

WARRANTY

A 3 year, non-transferable warranty covers this Scanstrut product only and not any devices that are powered by it.

No warranty is given for users’ devices. Users expose their devices to hazards, known or unknown, at their own risk.

• Connect a pair of M10x1.00 monobloc-type flexible hoses (not-included) of desired length and water system joining

connections to the corresponding ports on the back of the housing mixer valve.

• C = Cold Water Feed

• H = Hot Water Feed

• Hand-tighten only, then use an adjustable spanner to tighten both connections a maximum of a ¼ turn.

• Ensure that both flexi-hose sealing O-rings are compressed on the mixer ports correctly as shown.

• Do not use thread sealant tape on the M10 threads, this will affect the sealing of the O-rings.

• Installations in the USA - M10x1.00 flexible faucet hoses are readily available from hardware suppliers with standard

3/8” and 1/2” female thread connections.

• Apply silicone/automotive sealant to the

4x No.8 PH2 Panhead mounting screws.

• Secure the housing assembly to the mounting

surface - DO NOT overtighten the screws.

• Note: Silicone/sealant application to the rear mounting

surface is not required, the included rear gasket meets

the stated IP-ratings when this product is installed on

a flat surface.

• Screw the sprayer onto the hose assembly nut

connection.

• Do not overtighten – hand tight is sufficient.

• Ensure the included sealing washer is fitted

between the sprayer and the hose assembly nut.

• The water temperature is adjusted by rotating

the mixer handle left for cold water, or right to

increase temperature.

• The water flow rate is adjusted by pushing the

mixer handle vertically down for increased flow

and vertically up to reduce flow.

• To use the sprayer, push the rear locking switch

to maintain a constant water flow. Push the switch

again to stop the flow.

• The spray pattern can be adjusted from shower to

aerated by rotating the nozzle in either direction.

• The hose assembly must be disconnected from

the system after each use to prevent leakage or

accidental pump activation. When not in use, it can

be safely stored in the provided net bag.
