Para realizar una reclamación de garantía, el comprador debe completar el

pronto como sea posible. El comprador debe recibir un número de autorización de
devolución por parte del Servicio de atención al cliente de Pelican antes de devolver
cualquier producto, además de que es responsable de pagar todos los costos de
ete de la garantía. Si Pelican determina que algún producto devuelto no está
dañado, según los términos de esta garantía, el comprador deberá pagar a Pelican
todos los costos de gestión, ete de devolución y reparaciones según las tarifas
vigentes de Pelican.
Todas las reclamaciones relacionadas con la garantía, sin importar su naturaleza,
quedan invalidadas si el producto fue alterado, dañado o modicado físicamente de

This compact ashlight produces an ultra bright light beam by using an
LED powered by (2) two AA batteries. The Pelican
™
2310 ashlight is
designed for easy use with one hand operation and has a dual-switch
mode for constant-on and momentary-on. The 2310 ashlight body is
made of a high impact polymer alloy for the most durable construction.
The 2310 ashlight is water-resistant.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE OPERATING, REMOVE THE MYLAR

INSULATOR BY
UNSCREWING THE TAIL CAP.
Battery Installation / Replacement
1. Remove the tail cap by turning counter-clockwise until it comes off
the rear of the 2310 ashlight.
2. Remove the (2) two used batteries from the 2310 ashlight.
3. Insert (2) two new AA batteries in the direction indicated
(any Alkaline or Pelican
™
P-NiMH-AA).
4. Replace the tail cap by turning clockwise until sealed.
General Operation
» - Partially depress the tail button for momentary Momentary
operation.
» – Fully depress the tail button and release.Constant On
» – From the on position, fully depress the tail button and release.Off
Light Intensity Levels

General Care and Maintenance
» Clean o-rings with a soft clean cloth to ensure the sealing area is
free of dirt that could destroy the o-ring seal.
» Apply a light coat of clear silicone grease on the o-rings occasionally
if turning action becomes too difcult.
» Remove the tail cap and wipe the rear threads of the 2310 ashlight
body and inside of the tail cap with a soft clean cloth occasionally to
avoid intermittent ashlight operation.
O-Ring Maintenance
Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged o-ring
or mating lens lip surface. Remove any dirt or foreign matter from
o-ring sealing surfaces. Keep threads, o-ring groove and inside lip
of lens lubricated with silicone grease. See Warranty information for
replacement of o-ring.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT THE 2310 FLASHLIGHT FROM
COMING ON ACCIDENTALLY WHEN STORED, REMOVE THE
BATTERIES. IF THE 2310 FLASHLIGHT IS TURNED ON WHILE
IT IS IN A CONTAINER, THE FLASHLIGHT CAN OVERHEAT
AND DAMAGE THE FLASHLIGHT OR THE MATERIAL OF THE
SURROUNDING AREA.

Alkaline Batteries
» For those products with Hazardous Location Safety Approvals for
explosive environments, please be advised that the safety approval
is only valid for the specied battery type and manufacturers and,
where applicable, brand names that are displayed on the equipment
and/or instructions sheets that are supplied with the ashlight.
The use of other battery types may reduce the performance of the
equipment, expose the user or others to serious injury, and will
invalidate the safety approval.
» Always read the battery manufacturer’s recommendations for the
appropriate usage of the battery type/brand prior to using.
» When replacing the batteries, replace all the batteries at the same
time. DO NOT mix battery brands. DO NOT mix old and new
batteries. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+
and -) marked on the battery and equipment.
» DO NOT change batteries in a hazardous location.
» DO NOT use batteries beyond their expiration date.
» Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an
extended period of time.
Battery Recycling
ALWAYS dispose of batteries properly at an approved battery recycling
center. Failure to do so may be a crime and can lead to the release of
harmful toxic materials. Pelican has partnered with Call 2 Recycle in the
US and Canada to dispose of recyclable batteries. Please call 1-800-

la parte trasera de la linterna 2310.
2. Retirar las (2) dos pilas usadas de la linterna 2310.
3. Colocar (2) dos pilas AA nuevas en la dirección indicada
(cualquier pila alcalina o las pilas Pelican
™
P-NiMH-AA).
4. Volver a colocar la tapa trasera girándola hacia la derecha hasta que
quede perfectamente apretada.

Cuidados Generales Y Mantenimiento
» Limpiar los anillos de sellado de neopreno con un paño limpio y

» Cada cierto tiempo, aplicar una ligera capa de grasa sin silicona
en los anillos de sellado de neopreno si la acción de giro fuese
demasiado difícil.

Mantenimiento Del Anillo
De Sellado De Neopreno
Vericar meticulosamente la ausencia de cortes, arañazos u otros
daños en el anillo de sellado de neopreno y en la supercie de contacto
del reborde de la lente. Eliminar la suciedad o sustancias extrañas de
la supercie del anillo de sellado de neopreno. Lubricar las roscas, la
estría del anillo de sellado de neopreno y el reborde interior de la lente
con grasa de silicona. Consultar la información sobre la garantía para la
sustitución del anillo de sellado de neopreno.
PRECAUCIÓN: PARA EVITAR QUE LA LINTERNA 2310 SE
ENCIENDA ACCIDENTALMENTE MIENTRAS ESTÁ ALMACENADA,

» Siempre lea las recomendaciones del fabricante de la batería sobre

» Cuando reemplace baterías, reemplácelas todas al mismo tiempo.

MODE D’EMPLOI
AVANT TOUTE UTILISATION, RETIRER L’ISOLANT EN MYLAR EN
DÉVISSANT LE CAPUCHON ARRIÈRE.
Insertion/Remplacement Des Piles
1. Retirer le capuchon arrière en le tournant dans le sens antihoraire
jusqu’à le détacher de l’arrière de la torche 2310.
2. Retirer les (2) deux piles usées de la torche 2310.
3. Insérer (2) deux piles AA neuves dans le sens indiqué
(n’importe quelle pile alcaline ou pile Pelican
™
P-NiMH-AA).
4. Replacer le capuchon arrière en le tournant dans le sens horaire
jusqu’à le sceller.
Fonctionnement Général
» Appuyer partiellement sur le bouton arrière Éclairage Momentané:
pour activer momentanément la torche.
» Éclairage Constant: Enfoncer à fond le bouton arrière et le relâcher.
» En position activée, enfoncer à fond le bouton Extinction:
arrière et le relâcher.

Entretien Et Maintenance Généraux
» Nettoyer les joints toriques à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et propre pour
garantir que la zone d’étanchéité est exempte de toute impureté
susceptible de détruire l’étanchéité des joints toriques.
» Appliquer une ne couche de graisse de silicone transparente sur
les joints toriques de temps en temps si l’action de rotation devient
trop difcile.
» Retirer le capuchon arrière et essuyer les lets arrière du corps de
la torche 2310 et l’intérieur du capuchon arrière à l’aide d’un chiffon
doux propre de temps en temps pour éviter un fonctionnement
intermittent de la torche.
Entretien Des Joints Toriques
Rechercher soigneusement toute trace de coupure, de rayure ou
d’autre dommage sur le joint torique ou sur la surface du bord de la
lentille d’accouplement. Ôter toute impureté ou tout corps étranger des
surfaces d’étanchéité du joint torique. Conserver les lets, la rainure du
joint torique et le bord intérieur de la lentille lubriés à l’aide de graisse
de silicone. Pour le remplacement du joint torique, voir les informations
relatives à la garantie.
ATTENTION : POUR EMPÊCHER QUE LA TORCHE 2310 NE
S’ALLUME ACCIDENTELLEMENT QUAND ELLE EST RANGÉE,
RETIRER LES PILES. SI LA TORCHE 2310 EST ALLUMÉE ALORS
QU’ELLE SE TROUVE DANS UN CONTENEUR, ELLE PEUT
SURCHAUFFER ET ÊTRE ENDOMMAGÉE OU ENDOMMAGER LE

» Pour ces produits soumis aux Approbations de sécurité des

les noms de marque afchés sur l’équipement et/ou les ches
d’instructions fournies avec la lampe torche. L’utilisation d’autres
types de piles peut réduire les performances de l’équipement,
exposer l’utilisateur ou d’autres personnes à des blessures graves et

lifetime against breakage or defects in workmanship. This guarantee does not cover
the lamp or batteries.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF
ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (B) ALL OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND

OTHERWISE, nor shall Pelican’s liability to the purchaser for damages exceed the
purchase price of the product in respect of which damages are claimed.
Pelican will either repair or replace any defective product, at our sole option. Certain
products are available for a limited time only. If a claim is made involving one of
these products, Pelican reserves the right to replace a broken or defective product
with a standard Pelican product of comparable size and quality if no comparable
limited edition product is available at the time of a claim. TO THE EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF
THE PURCHASER.
To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must complete the warranty claim form
at https://www.pelican.com/us/en/support/warranty/. Any warranty claims shall be
made by the purchaser as soon as practicable. The purchaser must obtain a return
authorization number from Pelican Customer Service prior to returning any product,
and is responsible for paying for all warranty freight costs. If Pelican determines that
any returned product is not defective, within the terms of this warranty, the purchaser
shall pay Pelican all costs of handling, return freight and repairs at Pelican’s
prevailing rates.
All warranty claims of any nature are barred if the product has been altered,
damaged or in any way physically changed, or subjected to abuse, misuse,
negligence or accident.
Some states and countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty
lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic
legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state and
country to country.
In Australia: The benets provided to you under this warranty are in addition to
your rights and remedies as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law as
contained in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (“the Act”). Nothing in
this warranty limits the rights or obligations of a party under the Act in relation to
the supply to consumers of goods which cannot be limited, modied or excluded.
If applicable, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Act. Consumers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Consumers
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. If you are not
a consumer under the Act, then your rights may be limited. To make a warranty

pelican.com. Any claims should be made as soon as practicable. To expedite claims,
the purchaser should obtain a return authorization number from Pelican Customer
Service prior to returning any product. The purchaser is responsible for paying for
all freight costs. If Pelican determines that any returned product is not defective,
within the terms of this warranty or the Act, the purchaser may pay Pelican all costs
of handling, return freight and repairs at Pelican’s prevailing rates. In the event that
Pelican determines that any returned product is defective, within the terms of this
warranty or the Act, Pelican shall pay the purchaser all reasonable costs of the
purchaser in making a claim under this warranty.
Lifetime warranty does not cover Remote Area Lighting System products.
