1. Instrument characteristic
PCE-LMDC 200 photometric a source calibrator is of luminous
exitance (radiated surface 100lm/mdensity of flux) luminous about 2. It is
designed to periodic tests luxmeters illuminance . The device generating

WARNING: Checking luxmeters using PCE-LMDC 200 photometric
calibrator can not replace periodic calibration in accredited laboratory.
2. Technical specification
•Luminous exitance: M 100lm/m≈2
Illuminance in the reception field
of photometric probe: E 100lx ≈
•Light source color temperature: Tcp≈3000K
•Illuminance stability:
for single working period: typically ±0,1% (max. ±0.3%)
after 3000 periods or 1 year ±1%
•Operating temperature: 0÷40°C
recommended operating temperature: 23±3°C
•Temperature coefficient: <0.02%/K
•Operating humidity: 80% ≤
•Power supply AC adapter +12V 0.6A
Spectral distribution of calibrator’s light source is PCE-LMDC 200
different than illuminant used during luxmeter calibration (typically
illuminant A). That causes indication deviation, which depends on
quality of the match of photometric probe spectral response to spectral
luminous efficiency of CIE standard photometric observer. For luxour
meters that deviation not exceed 0.03% for class A luxmeters and
0.15% for class B
