SÄKERHET OCH INFORMATION

Räckvidd inomhus: upp till 30 m (optimala förhållanden).

Räckvidden är starkt beroende av lokala förhållanden, till exempel

om det ﬁnns metaller i närheten. Exempelvis har den tunna

metallbeläggning i energiglas med låg emissivitet negativ inverkan

på radiosignalernas räckvidd. Det kan ﬁnnas begränsningar

för användningen av enheten utanför EU. Om tillämpligt bör du

kontrollera att enheten överensstämmer med lokala föreskrifter.

Livsuppehållande utrustning: Använd aldrig Nexas produkter

ZMD-107 är en Z-Wave Plus rörelsedetektor som arbetar med

passivt infrarött ljus (PIR). Den kan anslutas till Nexa Bridge eller

annan styrenhet som är Z-Wave certiﬁerad. Rörelsedetektorn har

sabotagelarm samt justerbart detektionsområde. Z-Wave Plus

tekniken ger en säker kommunikation mellan enheterna.

konstruerad för eller om instruktionen inte följs.

Produkten innehåller inga reparerbara delar.

INSTALLATION

Placering

Rörelsedetektorn är endast avsedd för inomhusbruk.

Rekommenderad placering för ZMD-107 är i hörnet av ett rum på

en höjd mellan 1,8 och 2 m.

Med denna placering får detektorn ett maximalt detektionsområde

på upp till 9 m med en bredd om 110 ° när kretskortets läge i

frontstycket är i position 5.

Kretskortet kan placeras i 5 olika positioner i frontstycket för att

justera detektorns räckvidd. Skjut kretskortet till önskat läge, lossa

ej skruvarna.

Läge 1 = ca 3 meter

Läge 3 = ca 6 meter

Läge 5 = ca 9 meter

Tänk på följande

1. Placera inte detektorn mot ett fönster eller där den utsätts för

eller står direkt mot solljus. Rörelsedetektorer med PIR är inte

lämpliga för användning i exempelvis atriumgårdar.

2. Placera inte detektorn där den utsätts för drag från ventilation

3. Placera inte detektorn direkt ovanför en värmekälla

4. Detektorn är mest känslig för rörelse som passerar genom dess

detektionsområde och mindre känslig för rörelse i riktning mot

den.

5. Placera inte detektorn i en position där den utsätts för överdrivna

vibrationer.

MONTERING AV DETEKTORN

1. Öppna enheten genom att lossa skruven i botten på detektorn,

vänta med att montera batteriet.

2. Borra försiktigt ut de aktuella skruvhålen i bakstycket för vald

placering, hörn eller på plan vägg.

3. Fäst bakstycket på väggen med medföljande skruvar. Dra inte åt

fästskruvarna för mycket eftersom det kan deformera bakstycket

om väggen är ojämn.

4. Konﬁgurera detektorn, se anslut till ett Z-Wave nätverk, och testa

därefter funktionen. Se ”Test”

5. Kontrollera att detektorns kretskort är rätt placerat och ställ in rätt

position för att erhålla önskat detekteringsområde. För att justera

kretskortets läge, skjut det upp eller ner till önskad position.

Montera därefter ihop detektorn.

ANSLUT TILL ETT Z-WAVE NÄTVERK

Autoinkludering:

När ZMD-107 spänningssätts första gången eller inte är inkluderad i

någon controller startar den i läget för autoinkludering.

1. Sätt Z-Wave controllern i inkluderingsläge (se controllerns

manual)

2. Montera batteriet i ZMD-107 för att slutföra inkludering, indikeras

av blinkande LED.

Manuell inkludering:

1. Sätt Z-Wave controllern i inkluderingsläge (se controllerns manual)

2. Tryck 3 gånger på sabotageswitchen inom 1,5 sekunder

Exkludering:

1. Sätt Z-Wave controllern i exkluderingsläge (se controllerns

manual)

2. Tryck 3 gånger på sabotageswitchen inom 1,5 sekunder.

TEST

När batteriet har satts i enheten värms sensorn upp under cirka

2 minuter innan den är redo att användas. LED indikering bakom

linsen lyser rött till dessa att enheten är redo.

Detta påverkar inte processen för inkludering / exkludering.

1. När sabotageswitchen inte är nedtryckt efter inklusion går

detektorn in i testläge för att tillåta användaren att testa enheten

innan den monteras på vägg.

2. När rörelse upptäcks i testläget tänds LED indikering bakom

linsen vid detektering av rörelse vilket indikerar korrekt funktion.

3. Tryck och håll ned sabotageswitch i 10 sekunder för att lämna

testläget.

BATTERIBYTE

När batteriet har tagits bort, vänta i 5 sekunder med att sätta

tillbaka batteriet.

Störningar: Alla trådlösa enheter kan drabbas av störningar som

kan påverka prestandan och räckvidden. Det minsta avståndet

mellan två mottagare bör därför vara åtminstone 50 cm

Reparation: Försök inte att reparera produkten. Den innehåller inga

reparerbara delar.

Vattentäthet: Produkten är inte vattentät. Se till att den alltid är

torr. Fukt gör att elektroniken inuti fräts sönder och kan leda till

kortslutning, fel och risk för elstötar.

Rengöring: Rengör produkten med en torr trasa. Använd inte

kemikalier, lösningsmedel eller starka rengöringsmedel.

Miljö: Utsätt inte produkten för stark värme eller kyla, eftersom det

kan skada eller förkorta de elektroniska kretsarnas livslängd.

SAFETY AND INFORMATION

Range indoors: up to 30 m (optimal conditions). The range is

very dependent on the local conditions, for example, if there are

metals in the vicinity. For example, the thin metal coating in energy

glass with low emissivity has a negative inﬂuence on the range

of the radio signals. There may be restrictions on the use of the

unit outside the EU. If appropriate, you should check that the unit

complies with local regulations.

The ZMD-107 is a Z-Wave Plus motion detector that works with

passive infrared light (PIR). It can be connected to a Nexa Bridge or

any other control device with Z-Wave certiﬁcation. The motion detector

has a sabotage alarm and an adjustable detection range. Z-Wave Plus

technology ensures secure communication between devices.

SAFETY

Read through the entire instruction ﬁrst. Engage a professional if so

required. Nexa cannot be held liable if the product is used for any

purpose other than the one for which it is designed, or if there is

failure to comply with the instruction.

The product contains no repairable parts.

INSTALLATION

Placement

The motion detector is designed for indoor use only.

Positioning the ZMD-107 in the corner of a room, at a height of

between 1.8 and 2 m, is recommended.

This position will provide the detector with a maximum detection

range of up to 9 m through an angle of 110° when the circuit board

in the front piece is in position 5.

The circuit board can be placed in 5 different positions in the front

piece to adjust the detector range. Push the circuit board into the

preferred position, do not undo the screws.

Position 1 = approx. 3 metres

Position 3 = approx. 6 metres

Position 5 = approx. 9 metres

Remember the following

1. Do not place the detector against a window or in any location where it

will be exposed to sunlight or stand directly in direct sunlight. Motion

detectors with PIR are not appropriate for use in atriums, for example.

2. Do not position the detector in any location where it will be

exposed to draughts from ventilation

3. Do not position the detector directly above a heat source

4. The detector is most sensitive to motion passing through its

detection range, and less sensitive to motion towards it.

5. Do not position the detector in a location where it will be

subjected to excessive vibration.

INSTALLING THE DETECTOR

1. Open the device by undoing the screw at the bottom of the

detector, wait to install the battery.

2. Carefully drill out the relevant screw holes in the backpiece for

the selected position, in a corner or on a ﬂat wall.

3. Secure the backpiece onto the wall using the screws supplied.

Do not tighten the fastening screws too much, as this may

deform the backpiece if the wall is uneven.

4. Conﬁgure the detector – see Connect to a Z-Wave network –

then test its function. See “Test”

5. Check that the detector’s circuit board is positioned correctly,

and set the correct position for the preferred detection range. Push

the circuit board up or down to the preferred position in order to

adjust its location. Then assemble the detector.

CONNECT TO A Z-WAVE NETWORK

Auto inclusion:

The ZMD-107 starts in auto inclusion mode when it is powered up

for the ﬁrst time or if it is not included in any controller.

1. Put the Z-Wave controller in inclusion mode (see the manual for

the controller)

2. Fit the battery in the ZMD-107 to complete inclusion (indicated by

a ﬂashing LED).

2. Press the sabotage switch 3 times within 1.5 seconds

Exclusion:

1. Put the Z-Wave controller in exclusion mode (see the manual for

the controller)

2. Press the sabotage switch 3 times within 1.5 seconds.

TESTING

When the battery has been placed in the device, the sensor is

heated up for approximately 2 minutes before it is ready to use. An

LED indication behind the lens shines red until the device is ready.

This does not affect the inclusion/exclusion process.

1. When the sabotage switch is not depressed after inclusion, the

detector will switch to test mode to allow the user to test the

device before mounting it on a wall.

2. When motion is detected in test mode, the LED indication behind

the lens lights up when motion is detected, thereby indicating

that the detector is functioning correctly.

3. Press and hold down the sabotage switch for 10 seconds to

leave test mode.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

When the battery has been removed, wait for 5 seconds before

replacing it.

Life-support equipment: Never use Nexa products for life-support

equipment or other devices where faults or interference could have

life-threatening consequences.

Interference: All wireless units can suffer from interference that can

affect the performance and range. For this reason, the minimum

distance between two receivers should be at least 50 cm

Repair: Do not attempt to repair the product. It does not contain

any repairable parts.

Waterprooﬁng: The product is not waterproof. Make sure it is dry

at all times. Damp causes the electronics inside to corrode and this

could lead to short-circuiting, faults and a risk for electric shocks.

Cleaning: Clean the product with a dry cloth. Do not use chemicals,

solvents or strong cleaning agents.

Environment: Do not expose the product to intense heat or cold,

because it could damage or shorten the service life of the electric

circuits.
