Schallpegel-Messgerät

Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung vor dem Be-

trieb gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für

ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Das Gerät SM-1 kann universell zur Schallpegel-

messung eingesetzt werden (z. B. um den Raum-

Geräuschpegel zu ermitteln). Es lässt sich einfach

mit einer Hand bedienen. Der Schallpegel wird

entsprechend der Wahrnehmung des menschli-

chen Gehörs gemessen (A-Bewertung).

2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch

Das Gerät entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtli-

nien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeich-

net.

GSetzen Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich ein.

Schützen Sie es vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-

lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

GVerwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein tro-

ckenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Wasser

oder Chemikalien.

GWird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig

bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann

keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach-

oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für

das Gerät über nommen werden.

3 Batterie einsetzen

Zur Stromversorgung wird eine 9-V-Block batterie

benötigt.

1) Den Batteriefachdeckel auf der Rückseite öff-

nen: Auf die Pfeilmarkierung des Deckels drü-

cken und ihn gleichzeitig nach unten abziehen.

2) Die Batteriekontakte auf die Batterie stecken

und die Batterie in das Fach legen.

3) Den Deckel wieder schließen.

Wird das Gerät längere Zeit nicht gebraucht, sollte

die Batterie herausgenommen werden. So werden

bei einem Auslaufen der Batterie mögliche Schä-

den am Gerät vermieden.

4 Bedienung

Das Gerät kann in der Hand gehalten oder über

die rückseitige Gewindebuchse auf ein Stativ mit

Fotogewinde (6,3 mm/1⁄ ″) montiert werden.4

1) Das Messgerät zur Messung waagerecht und

mit dem Mikrofon [Position (1) in Abb. 1, mit auf-

gesetztem Windschutz] in Richtung der Schall-

quelle ausrichten.

2) Zum Einschalten die Taste (3) drücken. Das

Display (5) zeigt den momentan gemessenen

Schallpegel in dB (8). Über den Sensor (4) wird

die Display-Hintergrundbeleuchtung automa-

tisch an die Helligkeitsverhältnisse angepasst:

bei schwachem Umgebungslicht wird die Be-

leuchtung eingeschaltet, bei ausreichender Hel-

ligkeit wieder ausgeschaltet.

Erscheint keine Anzeige, ist keine Batterie

eingesetzt oder die eingesetzte Batterie ver-

braucht. Erscheint unten links im Display ein

Batteriesymbol (9), ist die Batterie fast ver-

braucht und sollte ersetzt werden Kapitel 3.→

3) Soll der maximal auftretende Pegel angezeigt

und festgehalten werden, die Taste MAX MIN

(2) drücken [Einblendung MAX (6)]. Soll der mi-

nimal auftretende Pegel angezeigt und festge-

halten werden, die Taste erneut drücken [Ein-

blendung MIN (7)]. Mit der Taste kann jetzt zwi-

schen Minimal- und Maximalwert umgeschaltet

werden.

Zum Ausschalten der Funktion die Taste län-

ger gedrückt halten, bis die jeweilige Einblen-

dung erlischt.

4) Nach dem Betrieb das Gerät mit der Taste

ausschalten. Wird das Gerät nicht manuell aus-

geschaltet, schaltet es sich automatisch nach

ca. 15 Minuten aus.

Sound Level Meter

Please read these operating instructions carefully

prior to operation and keep them for later use.

1 Applications

The meter SM-1 serves for universal sound level

measurement (e. g. to determine the noise level of

a room). It is designed for one-hand operation and

easy to use. The sound level is measured accord -

ing to the sound perceived by the human ear

(A weighting).

2 Important Notes

This unit corresponds to all required directives of

the EU and is therefore marked with .

GThe unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it

against humidity and heat (admissible ambient

temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use

water or chemicals.

GNo guarantee claims for the unit and no liability

for any resulting personal damage or material

damage will be accepted if the unit is used for

other purposes than originally intended, if it is

not correctly operated, or not repaired in an ex-

pert way.

3 Inserting the Battery

For power supply, a 9 V battery is required.

1) Open the cover of the battery compartment on

the rear side: Press down the cover in the area

marked with an arrow while simultaneously re-

moving the cover in a downward direction.

2) Place the battery contacts on the battery and in-

sert the battery into the compartment.

3) Close the cover.

If the meter is not used for a longer period, the bat-

tery should be removed to prevent damage to the

meter due to battery leakage.

4 Operation

Hold the meter in your hand or mount it onto a

stand with 6.3 mm/1⁄4″ thread via the threaded jack

on its rear side.

1) For measuring, direct the meter with the micro-

phone [position (1) in fig. 1 with the windshield

placed] horizontally to the sound source.

2) To switch it on, press the button (3). The dis-

play (5) will indicate the sound level in dB

scurrently measured (8). Via the sensor (4), the

display background illumination is automatically

adjusted to the lighting conditions: if the ambient

light is low, the illumination will be switched on;

in case of sufficient light it will be switched off

again.

If nothing is displayed, no battery is inserted

or the battery inserted is completely discharged.

If a battery symbol (9) is shown at the bottom

on the left of the display, the battery is almost

discharged and should be replaced chapter 3.→

3) To indicate and hold the maximum level meas-

ured, press the button MAX MIN (2) [insertion

MAX (6)]. To indicate and hold the minimum

level measured, press the button once again

[insertion MIN (7)]. The button now allows to

switch between the minimum and maximum

values.

To deactivate the function, keep the button

pressed for a longer time until the correspond -

ing insertion will disappear.

4) After operation, switch off the meter with the

button . If the meter is not switched off manu-

ally, it will be switched off automatically after

approx. 15 minutes.

for a disposal which is not harmful to the

environment.

Dead batteries or defective rechargeable batter -

ies do not belong in the household rubbish; al-

ways take them to a special waste disposal (e. g.

collection container at your retailer).

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation

Le SM-1 peut être utilisé de manière universelle

pour mesurer les niveaux sonores (par exemple

pour constater le niveau de bruit dans une pièce).

Il peut être facilement manipulé dʼune seule main.

Le niveau sonore est mesuré en fonction de la per-

ception de lʼoreille humaine (pondération A).

2 Conseils importants dʼutilisation

Lʼappareil répond à toutes les directives néces-

saires de lʼUnion européenne et porte donc le

symbole .

GLʼappareil nʼest conçu que pour une utilisation

en intérieur. Protégez-le de lʼhumidité et de la

chaleur (plage de température de fonctionne-

ment autorisée 0 – 40 °C).

GPour le nettoyer, utilisez un chiffon sec et doux,

en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou dʼeau.

GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

dommages corporels ou matériels si lʼappareil

est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour le-

quel il a été conçu, sʼil nʼest pas correctement

utilisé ou nʼest pas réparé par un technicien ha-

bilité ; en outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

3 Insertion de la batterie

Une batterie 9 V est nécessaire pour faire fonc-

tionner lʼappareil.

1) Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment pile sur la

face arrière : appuyez sur le repère flèche sur le

couvercle et simultanément tirez-le vers le bas.

2) Positionnez les contacts sur la batterie et pla-

cez la batterie dans le compartiment.

3) Refermez le couvercle.

En cas de non utilisation prolongée de lʼappareil, il

convient de retirer la batterie ; elle pourrait couler

et endommager lʼappareil.

4 Utilisation

Lʼappareil peut être tenu dans la main ou être

monté sur un pied avec filetage 6,35 (1⁄4″) via la

prise filetée sur la face arrière.

1) Orientez le sonomètre à lʼhorizontale, le micro

[position (1) sur le schéma 1, avec bonnette

anti-vent placée], vers la source sonore.

2) Appuyez sur la touche (3) pour allumer lʼap-

pareil. Lʼaffichage (5) indique le niveau sonore

mesuré à lʼinstant en dB (8). Via le capteur (4),

lʼéclairage de lʼarrière plan est automatiquement

adapté aux rapports de luminosité : si la lumière

ambiante est faible, lʼéclairage est allumé, si la

luminosité est suffisante, il est éteint.

Si aucun affichage nʼest visible, aucune bat-

terie nʼest insérée ou la batterie insérée est

morte. Si un symbole de batterie (9) est visible

en bas à gauche sur lʼaffichage, la batterie est

presque épuisée et doit être remplacée, voir

chapitre 3.

3) Si le niveau maximal doit être affiché et

conservé, appuyez sur la touche MAX MIN (2)

[affichage MAX (6)]. Si le niveau minimal doit

être affiché et conservé, appuyez une nouvelle

fois sur la touche [affichage MIN (7)]. Vous pou-

vez commuter entre la valeur maximale et la va-

leur minimale avec cette touche.

Pour désactiver la fonction, maintenez la

touche enfoncée plus longtemps jusquʼà ce que

lʼaffichage correspondant disparaisse.

4) Après utilisation, éteignez lʼappareil avec la

touche . Si lʼappareil nʼest pas éteint manuel-

lement, il se coupe automatiquement après

15 minutes environ.

Misuratore del livello sonoro

Vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le presenti

istruzioni prima della messa in funzione e di con-

servarle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità dʼimpiego

Lʼapparecchio SM-1 serve per un uso universale

per misurare il livello sonoro (p. es. per stabilire la

rumorosità di un ambiente). Si usa facilmente con

una sola mano. Il livello sonoro viene misurato se-

condo la percezione dellʼudito umano (valuta-

zione A).

2 Avvertenze importanti per lʼuso

Questʼapparecchio è conforme a tutte le direttive

richieste dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .

GUsare lʼapparecchio solo allʼinterno di locali.

Proteggerlo dallʼumidità e dal calore (tempera-

tura dʼimpiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).

GPer la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,

asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti

chimici o acqua.

GNel caso dʼuso improprio, dʼimpiego scorretto o

di riparazione non a regola dʼarte dellʼapparec-

chio, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per

eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a

cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per

lʼapparecchio.

3 Inserire la batteria

Per lʼalimentazione è richiesta una batteria di 9 V.

1) Aprire il coperchio del vano batteria sul retro:

esercitare una pressione sulla freccia del co-

perchio e sfilarlo verso il basso

2) Inserire i contatti sulla batteria e sistemare la

batteria nel vano.

3) Richiudere il coperchio.

Se lʼapparecchio non viene usato per un certo pe-

riodo conviene togliere la batteria per evitare pos-

sibili danni allʼapparecchio nel caso la batteria

perda.

4 Funzionamento

Lʼapparecchio può essere tenuto in mano oppure,

per mezzo della boccola filettata sul retro può

essere montato su uno stativo con filettatura tipo

fotografico (6,3 mm/ 1⁄ ″).4

1) Per la misurazione, tenere lo strumento oriz-

zontale e con il microfono [posizione (1) in fig. 1,

con spugna antivento] in direzione della sor-

gente sonora.

2) Per lʼaccensione premere il tasto (3). Il dis -

play (5) indica in dB il valore misurato in quel

momento (8). Tramite il sensore (4), la luce del

display retroilluminato si adatta automati -

camente alla situazione di luce: con debole luce

ambientale lʼilluminazione si accende e viene

spenta se la luminosità è sufficiente.

Se non si vede nessun valore, significa che

manca la batteria o che la batteria montata e

scarica. Se in basso a sinistra del display si

vede un simbolo di batteria (9), significa che la

batteria è quasi scarica e che dovrebbe esser

sostituita Capitolo 3.→

3) Se si deve visualizzare e fissare il livello mas-

simo, premere il tasto MAX MIN (2) [si vede

MAX (6)]. Se si deve visualizzare e fissare il li-

vello minimo, premere nuovamente il tasto [si

vede MIN (7)]. Con questo tasto è ora possibile

cambiare fra il valore minimo e massimo.

Per disattivare la funzione tenere premuto il

tasto finché la relativa indicazione si spegne.

4) Dopo lʼuso spegnere lo strumento con il tasto .

Se lo strumento non viene spento manual-

mente, si spegne automaticamente dopo 15 mi-

nuti ca.
