REFRIGERATOR LIGHT

The LED lights have to be replaced only by the

manufacturer, an or authorized service agent.

To Models with light on the handle: The light on display

and handles stays at medium intensity all the time and

only will change to high intensity when the door is

opened, or the display is manipulated.

To turn the handle´s light on or o press simultaneously

and hold the “Fridge Temp.” and "Turbo Cool" buttons for

5 seconds.

When the door is open for more than one minute, the

display will emit an audible alarm and the handles will

begin to ash; once the door is closed, the alarm will stop

and the handles will return to their normal state (light on).

MOVING, TRIPS AND ABSENCES

If you are going to be away more than two weeks,

disconnect the refrigerator. Leave it empty & clean,

including the ice trays. If is possible, leave the doors open

to prevent an accumulation of smells.

During a move, tilt the refrigerator to the back and

thread in the leveling screws to avoid damage. If you

need to lay down the refrigerator: (seen it from the front).

• Do it only on the left side on the models RZB520I and

RZB400I.

•Do it only on the right side on the model RZB300I.

After having positioned the refrigerator in its new

location, follow the installation instructions so that the

refrigerant gas and the oil in the compressor have time to

settle.

THE PRODUCT IS CONSIDERED NOT TO BE USED IN A

NORMAL WAY WHEN:

•When there is presence of rust caused by hit,

scratches, extreme saline environments, etc. (our

authorized services centers oer mantenance and

repair services with reasonable prices).

•The product shows signs of damage caused by

improper use by the client, animal attacks (rodents,

insects or others) or extreme environmental

conditions where the product has been installed such

as humidity , excessive salinity or dust.

•It has been damaged while being transported by the

buyer.

POWER FAILURES

Follow the next instruction to avoid an inappropriate rise

of temperature on the frozen food while is been defreeze.

Close doors as soon as possible when placing or

removing items from the refrigerator.

During the rst four hours, the temperature in the

refrigerator will not change much. If the power outage

lasts for more than six hours, put bags of ice in the

refrigerator compartments (fresh food and freezer). Try

to keep the doors close. If the electrical voltage uctuates,

unplug the refrigerator power cord until the supply

normalizes.

Energy shootdown stops and Power CoolHolidays

functions, you will have to reset after the shutdown.

Damages caused by electric shock, voltage uctuations,

dierent power source connections than those specied,

and catastrophe are not considered normal usage for the

product.

If your refrigerator stays o during long time, check the

state of food, the elevation of the temperature of frozen

food can reduce their useful life.

3. After removing the hinge, unplug the cables routed in

the hinge, lift the door to remove it & take out the

bushing from the door.

4. Remove the middle hinge with the Torx screwdriver.

5. After removing the middle hinge lift the freezer door to

remove it. (you will need to unplug the cables for the

illuminated handle on the models equipped with it).

3. Una vez retirada la bisagra superior, desconecte

los cables que pasan atreves de ella, remueva la

puerta levantándola hacia arriba y retire el buje

inferior de la puerta de la bisagra intermedia.

4.Proceda a remover la bisagra intermedia con

ayuda del desarmando de tipo Torx.

5.Una vez removida la bisagra intermedia

remueva la puerta congelador levantándola

hacia arriba (algunos modelos requerirán de

desconectar el cable de alimentación de la luz

para la jaladera).

LUZ DEL REFRIGERADOR

Las luces LED solo deben sustituirse por el

fabricante o por un agente de servicio autorizado.

Para los modelos con luz en la jaladera: La luz en el

display y la jaladera permanece encendida en

intensidad media y solo cambia a intensidad alta

cuando se abre la puerta o se manipula el display.

Para apagar o encender la luz en las jaladeras,

presionar simultáneamente los botones

“FridgeTemp.” y “Turbo Cool” por 5 segundos.

Cuando la puerta este abierta por más de un

minuto, el display emitirá una alarma sonora y las

jaladeras comenzaran a parpadear; una vez que se

cierre la puerta, la alarma sonora se detendrá y las

jaladeras volverán a su estado normal (luz

prendida).

MUDANZAS, VIAJES Y AUSENCIAS

Si se va a ausentar por más de dos semanas,

desconecte el refrigerador. Déjelo vacío y limpio,

incluyendo las hieleras. Conviene que las puertas

queden entre abiertas, pues eso evitará una

concentración de olores.

Durante una mudanza, incline el refrigerador hacia

atrás y enrosque un poco los tornillos niveladores

para evitar daños. Si necesita acostar el refrigera-

dor hágalo únicamente: (viéndolo de frente).

•Sobre el costado izquierdo para los modelos

RZB520I y RZB400I.

•Sobre el lado derecho para el modelo RZB300I.

Tras haber colocado el refrigerador en el nuevo

lugar, siga las instrucciones de instalación para

que el gas refrigerante y el aceite del compresor se

asienten.

SE CONSIDERA QUE EL APARATO NO HA SIDO

USADO DE MANERA NORMAL CUANDO:

•Presenta oxidaciones causadas por golpes,

raspaduras, ambientes salinos, etc. (nuestros

centros de servicio o talleres autorizados

pueden prestar servicios de preservación y

reparación a costos razonables).

•Exhibe daños ocasionados por malos manejos

del cliente, por ataques de animales (roedores,

insectos u otros), por polvo o por las

condiciones ambientales del sitio en que se

haya instalado el producto, tales como

humedad o salinidad excesivas.

•Se p1-ha dañado en un transporte hecho por

cuenta del comprador.

FALLAS DE ENERGÍA

Siga las siguientes recomendaciones para evitar la

elevación indebida de la temperatura de los

alimentos congelados mientras se descongelan.

Abra las puertas el menor tiempo posible.

Durante las primeras 4 horas, la temperatura no

varía de manera importante. Si el apagón persiste

por más de 6 horas, meta bolsas de hielo en ambos

compartimientos. En cualquier caso, evite abrir las

puertas del aparato. Si la tensión eléctrica uctúa,

desconecte el refrigerador hasta que el suministro

se normalice.

Las interrupciones de energía eléctrica desactivan

las funciones y , por lo que Power CoolHolidays

tendrá que reactivarlas manualmente.

Los daños provocados por descargas eléctricas,

uctuaciones de voltaje, conexiones a fuentes

eléctricas distintas a las especicadas y catástrofes

no se consideran como condiciones de uso normal

del aparato.

En caso de que su refrigerador este apagado por

un periodo prolongado de tiempo verique el

estado de los alimentos, p1-ya que la elevación de la

temperatura de los productos congelados puede

acortar la vida de los mismos.

CALENTAMIENTOS Y CONDENSACIONES

EXTERIORES

El sistema contra la condensación puede causar

calentamientos en el exterior. Esto es normal. No

obstante, en condiciones de alta temperatura y

alta humedad en el ambiente, es posible que se

forme una condensación ligera. Séquela con un

trapo suave y limpio.

CONSEJOS DE GUARDADO

1.Al acomodar los alimentos, cuide que nada

obstruya las salidas de aire.

2.No almacene latas, traspase el contenido a otros

envases; todos los alimentos que almacena en

su refrigerador deben de estar empacados en

papel aluminio, plástico o recipientes con tapa.

Esto ayudará a conservar su frescura y evitar la

contaminación cruzada de alimentos y olores.

3. Para ahorrar energía, deje que los alimentos se

enfríen un poco antes de guardarlos.

4.Guarde las bebidas en depósitos tapados para

que no se contaminen con otros olores y

sabores.

5.No lave las frutas ni las verduras antes de

meterlas en el refrigerador. Póngalas dentro de

bolsas y lávelas hasta antes de prepararlas.

6. Guarde las cebollas en bolsas de plástico.

7.La oscuridad y el frío favorecen la germinación

del ajo. No es conveniente refrigerar esta

hortaliza.

8. Abra las puertas el menor tiempo posible.

9.Haga porciones pequeñas para congelar.

Distribúyalas dentro del congelador, esto

ayuda a que circule el aire.

10.Antes de guardar sus productos, revise las

fechas de caducidad de los alimentos y no

exceda el tiempo de almacenamiento

recomendado por los fabricantes.

11.Evite guardar bebidas gaseosas o efervescentes

en el congelador.

12. Cuando meta algo en el congelador por primera

vez, evite el contacto con lo que p1-ya este

congelado.

13.Los alimentos que van a ser congelados no

deben de ser colocados en contacto directo

con los alimentos que están solamente

almacenados. Puede ser necesario reducir la

cantidad que va a ser congelada si la congelación

de cada día es anticipada.

14.Para evitar que los alimentos congelados

aumenten su temperatura de manera

inadecuada durante el proceso de descogela-

ción, es recomendaable envolverlos en papel

absorbente.

15. Algunos productos, como los helados de agua,

no deben consumirse demasiado fríos.

16. Algunos tipos de frutas y verduras frescas son

sensibles al frío y por lo tanto estas no son

adecuadas para el almacenamiento en el

refrigerador/congelador.

PRECAUCIONES GENERALES

La temperatura ambiente afecta el rendimiento

del equipo. Seleccione una temperatura más fría si

abre frecuentemente las puertas del refrigerador.

Al guardar sus alimentos asegúrese que no

obstruyan las salidas de aire.

No toque el interior del congelador con las manos

mojadas.

En ocasiones, después de cerrar la puerta, cuesta

trabajo abrirla de nuevo inmediatamente, esto se

debe al intercambio de aire a diferentes tempera-

segundos e intente de nuevo.

R600a. La disposición nal de este producto debe

realizarse de acuerdo con las regulaciones locales o

federales, en caso de duda, contactar al fabricante.

Antes de deshacerse de su viejo refrigerador o

congelador:

• Quite las puertas.

• Deje las bandejas en su posición de tal forma

que los niños no puedan fácilmente escalar

por ellas.

Para desmontar la puerta para su disposición

nal siga los siguientes pasos:

Para remover las puertas necesitará de:

• Un Destornillador hexagonal de 5/16.

• Un Destornillador de tipo TorxT20.

Esta actividad debe realizarse por 2 personas.

Para remover las puertas:

1. Retire la tapa plástica de la bisagra superior de

la puerta alimentos frescos.

2.Mientras una persona sostiene la puerta

superior rme en su lugar, la otra debe

desatornillar la bisagra con el destornilldor

hexagonal de 5/16.

ADVERTENCIA:

Mantener libres de obstrucción las aberturas de

ventilación envolvente del aparato o en la

estructura de ensamble.

HEATING OF AREAS NEAR THE FREEZER

The anti-condensation system can cause heating on

the exterior of the refrigerator; this is normal.

Nevertheless, on conditions of high heat and high

humidity it is possible to have a light condensation.

FOOD STORAGE ADVICE

1.When placing items in the refrigerator, be sure that

nothing is blocking the air vents.

2. Do not storage cans, transfer its content to other

containers. All food stored in your refrigerator

should be wrapped with paper aluminum, plastic

or stored in containers with top. This will help to

preserve its freshness and to avoid mixing odors.

3. To save energy, let food cool before storing it.

4. Store juice in containers with lids so that it does not

contaminate other food with odors and avors.

5. Do not wash fruit or vegetables before putting

them in the refrigerator. Put them in a bag and

wash them before using them.

6. Store onions in plastic bags.

7. Darkness and cold promote garlic germination. It

is not advisable to refrigerate this vegetable.

9.Divide food into small portions for freezing. Spread

that is going to be freezed, if the freezed food is

14.To avoid undesired increments on temperature

while the food is been unfreeze. Cover the frozen

food with blank newspaper.

15.Some products, like ice pops, should not be

consumed at too cold temperatures.

16. Some fruits and vegetables don’t tolerate low

temperatures therefore they don’t have to be

stored in the refrigerator.

GENERAL PRECAUTION

The room temperature aects the refrigerator's

eciency. If the doors are frequently opened select a

colder temperature setting on the refrigerator.

When storing food, do not block the air vents.

Do not touch the inside of the freezer with wet

hands.

Before dispose your old refrigerator or freezer:

• Take o the doors.

• Leave the shelves in place so that children may

not easily climb inside.

To remove the door for nal disposal, follow the

next steps:

To remove the doors, you will need:

• 1 Hexagonal head screwdriver 5/16.

• 1 Torx T20 screwdriver.

This operation has to be performed by 2 people.

Follow the next steps to remove the doors:

1. Remove the plastic hinge cover at the top of the

fresh food door.

2. While 1 person holds the door, remove the screws

from the top hinge with the hexagonal head

screwdriver.

Do not allow children to hang on the doors or

play near the refrigerator when the door is

open as they can hurt themselves or become

trapped.

If your refrigerator has lockable doors and

keys, keys must be out of reach of the

children and kept away of the refrigerator,

to avoid the children get locked inside of the

refrigerator.

NIVELACIÓN

Coloque el refrigerador sobre una superficie

plana. Los tornillos niveladores están al frente del

equipo, en la parte inferior. Debe ajustarlos para

que el aparato no se mueva durante el uso normal.

Para nivelar el refrigerador se necesitan dos

personas. Mientras una lo inclina

un poco hacia atrás, la otra debe

girar los tornillos en el sentido de

las agujas del reloj.

Al terminar, entre el piso y la arista

delantera debe haber 48 mm,

aproximadamente.

Tras la nivelación, deje que el

refrigerador repose de 6 a 8 horas.

Antes de conectarlo, limpie el

interior con una esponja suave y

jabón neutro o bicarbonato de

sodio disuelto en agua.

QUICK START GUIDE

1. Select a clean, damp-free, spacious area.

2. Remove all packaging materials: tape, cardboard,

plastic bags, Styrofoam, etc.

3. Installation Clearances: Allow 5 cm (2in) of space on

each side, 10 cm (4in) behind, and 5 - 10 cm (2 to 4 in)

on top so that air can circulate. The product will going

to consume more energy without these gaps.

4.Before connecting it, let the refrigerator rest 6 to

8 hours for the gas to settle.

5. Clean the refrigerator with a cloth or soft sponge

and mild soap before plugging it to the power.

6. Plug the refrigerator. Let it operate empty and

with doors closed for four hours. (Clean it inside

before use).

USE OF EXTENSION CORDS

Follow the next advices to prevent electrical

discharges and res.

• Because of potential safety hazards don’t use any

kind of extension cord or multi contacts.

• Do not plug any other appliances or devices in the

same outlet.

•Take the cord by the plug. Do never unplug it,

pulling from the cable.

•The refrigerator has a Y-shaped polarized outlet

with an integrated ground wire. Do not remove the

ground wire neither use any kind of adaptors.

• If there are voltage variations in the power source,

use a voltage regulator.

• Do not twist the cord & be sure to don´t damage his

cover.

• The refrigerator has to be connected to a ground

Do not remove the leveling screw. It can

cause the device to tilt and fall.

LEVELING

Place the refrigerator on a at surface. The leveling

screws are located on the bottom of the refrigerator

at the front. Adjust them so that the product does

not move during normal usage.

Two people are needed to level the refrigerator.

While one person tilts it backward, the

other must turn the screws clockwise.

Between the oor and the edge of the

case there must be approximately 48

millimeters (1.9 inches).

After leveling, allow the refrigerator to

stand for six to eight hours.

Before plugging it to the power source,

clean the inside using a soft sponge

and mild soap or baking powder

dissolved in water.

PLACEMENT

Air must circulate around the refrigerator to work

well. Review topic number 3 of the Quick Start Guide.

Do not place the refrigerator near a heat source

(stove, oven, heater or similar) or expose it to the sun.
