Instrucciones de las pilas.

- Mantenga las pilas fuera del alcance de niños y animales, podrían

resultar dañinas en caso de ser ingeridas. En caso de ingestión acuda a

un médico inmediatamente.

- La ingestión de pilas puede provocar quemaduras, perforación de partes

blandas y la muerte. Pueden provocar quemaduras graves en las dos

horas siguientes a la ingesta.

- En caso de ingerir pilas acuda rápidamente a su centro médico más

cercano.

- Las pilas pueden presentar fugas en condiciones extremas. Si las pilas

gotean, no toque el líquido. Si el líquido entra en contacto con la piel,

lávese inmediatamente con agua y jabón. Si el líquido entra en contacto

con los ojos, láveselos de forma inmediata con abundante agua limpia por

un mínimo de 10 minutos y busque asistencia médica. Utilice guantes para

manejar la pila y deséchela inmediatamente de acuerdo con la normativa

local.

- Evite el contacto entre las pilas y pequeños objetos metálicos como

clips, monedas, llaves, clavos o tornillos.

- Las baterías no recargables no deben ser recargadas.

- Los bornes de alimentación no deben ser cortocircuitados.

- Asegúrese de que los contactos de las pilas dentro del dispositivo están

limpios antes de insertarlas. Límpielos si fuera necesario.

- Utilice únicamente el tipo de pilas indicado en las especicaciones

técnicas.

- Cambie siempre todas las pilas a la vez. No utilice pilas de diferente tipo

o capacidad.

- La batería debe ser insertada según la polaridad correcta. Fíjese en la

2. ANTES DE USAR

- Este aparato presenta un embalaje diseñado para protegerlo durante

su transporte. Saque el aparato de su caja y retire todo el material de

embalaje. Si desea deshacerse del embalaje original, asegúrese de

reciclar todos los elementos correctamente.

- Asegúrese de que todas las piezas y componentes están incluidos y en

buen estado. Si faltara alguno o no estuviera en buen estado, contacte

de forma inmediata con el Servicio de Atención Técnica ocial de Cecotec.

3. FUNCIONAMIENTO

1. Retire la tapa protectora y gire la tapa del compartimento para la pila

para alinear el indicador de posición con la posición de encendido, para

encender el aparato (Fig. 2).

2. Coloque la cuchilla sobre la piel en un ángulo de 90°, muévala lenta y

suavemente en dirección contraria al crecimiento del vello. No presione

demasiado la cuchilla contra su piel para evitar irritaciones.

3. Evite que el dispositivo se obstruya, vaya limpiando y retirando el

exceso de pelo de manera periódica.

4. Cuando haya terminado de utilizar el aparato, gire la tapa del

compartimento para la pila para alinear el indicador de posición con la

posición de apagado, para apagar el aparato (Fig. 3).

Instalación o sustitución de las pilas (Fig. 4)

- Abra el compartimento de la pila

- Retire la pila gastada y sustitúyala por una nueva. Compruebe siempre

la polaridad de las pilas.

- Vuelva a colocar la tapa del compartimento para la pila en su lugar.

4. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

- Asegúrese de que el aparato está apagado antes de empezar a limpiarlo.

- Retire el cabezal del cuerpo principal girándolo y tirando de él

suavemente (Fig. 5).

- Retire el vello del cabezal con ayuda del cepillo de limpieza y límpielo

después bajo el grifo.

- Utilice un paño suave y húmedo para limpiar la supercie del producto

después de cada uso.

- Nunca sumerja el dispositivo en agua o en otros líquidos.

- No utilice esponjas, polvos o productos de limpieza abrasivos para

limpiar el producto.

- No utilice toallas, toallitas de papel ni esponjas de bola de alambre para

limpiar el cabezal rotativo.

- Deje que el cabezal se seque antes de volverlo a montar.

- Para volver a colocar el cabezal, alinee las marcas del cabezal y del

cuerpo del dispositivo y gire el cabezal hasta escuchar un “click”.

- Compruebe regularmente que el dispositivo se encuentra en buen

estado, preste especial atención a las piezas móviles.

- Si no va a utilizar el dispositivo durante un largo periodo de tiempo,

retire la pila y guárdelo en su caja original.

Lubricación de la cuchilla

- Si lava el cabezal rotativo con agua, este requerirá que lo lubrique al

menos una vez al mes.

- Utilice únicamente aceites de petróleo ligero p1-ya que estos no se

evaporarán y ralentizarán la velocidad de las cuchillas.

- No utilice aceite para el pelo, grasa ni ninguna mezcla de aceite con

queroseno ni disolventes p1-ya que estos se evaporarán rápidamente.

Battery instructions

- Keep batteries away from children and animals, they could be harmful

if swallowed. In case of ingestion, seek medical assistance immediately.

- Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft-tissue perforation, and death. It

can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.

- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.

- Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. Do not

touch any liquid that leaks from the batteries. If the liquid gets into

contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets

into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of

10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery

and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

- Avoid contact between the batteries and small metal objects such as

paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.

- Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.

- The supply terminals must not be short-circuited.

- Make sure the battery contacts in the device are clean before inserting

batteries; if they are not, clean them.

- Use only the battery type specied in the technical specications.

- Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Do not use di erent

types of batteries or of dierent capacities.

- The battery must be inserted paying attention to polarity. When

replacing batteries, note the correct polarity (+/-).

- Take the batteries out of the device when they are discharged or when

the device is not going to be used for a long time.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport.

Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. In case

the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials

are recycled accordingly.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions.

If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the Ocial

Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

1. Remove the protective cover and turn the battery compartment cover

to align the position indicator with the on position to switch on the device

(Fig. 2).

2. Place the blade on the skin at a 90° angle, move it slowly and gently

against the direction of hair growth. Do not press the blade too hard

against your skin to avoid irritation.

3. Prevent the device from clogging by cleaning and removing excess hair

periodically.

4. When you have nished using the device, turn the battery compartment

cover to align the position indicator with the o position to switch o the

device (Fig. 3).

Battery installation or replacement (Fig. 4)

- Open the battery compartment.

- Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Always check the

polarity of the batteries.

- Put the battery compartment cover back in place.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Before starting to clean the appliance, make sure that it is switched o.

- Remove the head from the main body by turning and gently pulling it

o (Fig. 5).

- Remove the hair from the head with the cleaning brush and then clean

it under running water.

- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the appliance after every

use.

- Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.

- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.

- Do not use towels, paper towels or wire sponges to clean the rotating

head.

- Allow the head to dry before reassembly.

- To replace the head, align the tabs on the head and the body of the

appliance and rotate the head until you hear a “click”.

- Regularly check that the device is in good condition, paying particular

attention to moving parts.

- If you are not going to use the appliance for a long period of time, remove

the battery and store the appliance in its box.

Blade lubrication

- Rinsing the rotating head under water requires lubricating it at least

once per month.

- Use only light-grade oils, as these will not evaporate nor slow down the

speed of the cutting blades.

- Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene nor solvent, as

these too will evaporate quickly.
