Instrucciones de las pilas.

- Mantenga las pilas fuera del alcance de niños y animales, podrían

resultar dañinas en caso de ser ingeridas. En caso de ingestión acuda a

un médico inmediatamente.

- La ingestión de pilas puede provocar quemaduras, perforación de partes

blandas y la muerte. Pueden provocar quemaduras graves en las dos

horas siguientes a la ingesta.

- En caso de ingerir pilas acuda rápidamente a su centro médico más

cercano.

- Las pilas pueden presentar fugas en condiciones extremas. Si las pilas

gotean, no toque el líquido. Si el líquido entra en contacto con la piel,

lávese inmediatamente con agua y jabón. Si el líquido entra en contacto

con los ojos, láveselos de forma inmediata con abundante agua limpia por

un mínimo de 10 minutos y busque asistencia médica. Utilice guantes para

manejar la pila y deséchela inmediatamente de acuerdo con la normativa

local.

- Evite el contacto entre las pilas y pequeños objetos metálicos como

clips, monedas, llaves, clavos o tornillos.

- Las baterías no recargables no deben ser recargadas.

- Las baterías descargadas deben ser retiradas del aparato y eliminadas

de forma segura.

- Si el aparato debe ser almacenado sin ser utilizado durante un largo

periodo de tiempo, conviene retirar las baterías.

- Los bornes de alimentación no deben ser cortocircuitados.

- Asegúrese de que los contactos de las pilas dentro del dispositivo están

2. ANTES DE USAR

- Este aparato presenta un embalaje diseñado para protegerlo durante

su transporte. Saque el aparato de su caja y retire todo el material de

embalaje. Puede guardar la caja original y otros elementos del embalaje

en un lugar seguro para prevenir daños en el aparato si necesita

transportarlo en el futuro. Si desea deshacerse del embalaje original,

asegúrese de reciclar todos los elementos correctamente.

- Asegúrese de que todas las piezas y componentes están incluidos y en

buen estado. Si faltara alguno o no estuviera en buen estado, contacte

de forma inmediata con el Servicio de Atención Técnica ocial de Cecotec.

3. FUNCIONAMIENTO

Cómo instalar/cambiar las pilas

Antes de instalar o cambiar las pilas asegúrese de que el aparato está

apagado, gire la tapa del compartimento de las pilas siguiendo la dirección

de la echa situada en su base y retírela. Retire la pila gastada, instale una

nueva pila AA siguiendo las indicaciones del compartimento de las pilas,

con el polo positivo hacia dentro, y vuelva a colocar la tapa (Fig. 2).

Cómo retirar/instalar el cabezal

1. Gire el cabezal de corte y tire de él para extraerlo del cuerpo del aparato.

Retire la cuchilla interior del cabezal para limpiarla (Fig. 3).

lastimarse

2. Para instalar el cabezal de nuevo, inserte la cuchilla interior en el

cabezal exterior. A continuación, acople el cabezal de corte en el cuerpo

del aparato y gírelo hacia el lado opuesto hasta que encaje en su sitio

(gura 4).

Uso del aparato

1. Retire la tapa protectora y deslice el interruptor de encendido/apagado

hacia arriba para encender el aparato.

2. Introduzca con cuidado la punta del cabezal en la fosa nasal o en el

conducto auditivo externo. Hágalo lentamente para evitar lesiones en la

nariz o las orejas.

3. Mueva el cabezal suavemente haciendo movimientos circulares para

recortar el vello de la nariz o las orejas. Elimine sólo el vello que sobresale

de los oricios nasales y las orejas (no introduzca el cabezal más de 5

mm para evitar lesiones). Después de usar el recortador pueden quedar

restos de vello en la nariz o las orejas. Utilice un trozo de papel higiénico

para eliminarlos.

4. Después de utilizar el aparato, apáguelo y limpie el cabezal.

5. Antes de limpiar el aparato, asegúrese de que esté apagado. Retire el

cabezal extraíble y la cuchilla interior, límpielos con el cepillo de limpieza

y aclárelos con agua.

6. Después de la limpieza, inserte de nuevo la cuchilla interior en el

cabezal y vuelva a acoplarlo en el cuerpo del aparato.

4. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

- Asegúrese de que el aparato está apagado antes de empezar a limpiarlo.

- Retire el cabezal extraíble y la cuchilla interior, límpielos con el cepillo

de limpieza y aclárelos con agua si fuese necesario. Deje secar bien las

piezas antes de volverlas a montar.

- No sumerja el aparato en agua. Los accesorios/piezas desmontables

pueden limpiarse por separado.

- Limpie regularmente la parte externa del aparato con un paño seco o

ligeramente humedecido con agua.

- No utilice detergentes, abrillantadores ni productos de limpieza para

limpiar el aparato.

- No utilice toallas, papel ni estropajos de aluminio para limpiar el cabezal

de corte.

- Después de la limpieza, inserte de nuevo la cuchilla interior en el cabezal

y vuelva a acoplarlo en el cuerpo del aparato.

Battery instructions

- Keep batteries away from children and animals, they could be harmful

if swallowed. In case of ingestion, seek medical assistance immediately.

- Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft-tissue perforation, and death. It

can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.

- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.

- Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. Do not

touch any liquid that leaks from the batteries. If the liquid gets into

contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets

into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of

10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery

and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

- Avoid contact between the batteries and small metal objects such as

paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.

- Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.

- Discharged batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed

of safely.

- If the device is to be stored unused for a long period of time, the batteries

should be removed.

- The supply terminals must not be short-circuited.

- Make sure the battery contacts in the device are clean before inserting

batteries; if they are not, clean them.

- Only use the battery type specied in the technical specications.

- Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Do not use dierent

types of batteries or of dierent capacities.

- The battery must be inserted paying attention to polarity. When

replacing batteries, note the correct polarity (+/-).

- Take the battery out of the device when they are discharged or when the

device is not going to be used for a long time.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport.

Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You

can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place.

This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in

the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all

packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions.

If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the ocial

Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

How to install/replace batteries

Before installing or replacing the battery, make sure that the appliance is

switched o. Then, turn the battery compartment cover in the direction of

the arrow on its base and remove it. Remove the old battery, install a new

AA battery as indicated in the battery compartment, positive side in, and

replace the cover (Fig. 2).

How to remove/install the head

1. Rotate the cutting head and pull it out of the body of the appliance.

Remove the inner blade from the head to clean it (Fig. 3).

Note: do not touch the metal part of the blade with your hands, you could

injure yourself.

2. To reinstall the head, insert the inner blade into the external head. Then,

attach the cutting head to the body of the appliance and turn it to the

opposite side until it clicks into place (Fig. 4).

Using the appliance

1. Remove the protective cover and slide the power switch upwards to

switch on the appliance.

2. Carefully insert the tip of the head into the nostril or ear canal. Do it

slowly to avoid injury to the nose or ears.

3. Move the head gently in a circular motion to trim nose or ear hair. Only

remove the hair that protrudes from the nostrils and ears (do not insert

the head more than 5 mm to avoid injury). After using the trimmer, some

hair may remain on the nose or ears. Use a piece of toilet paper to remove

them.

4. After using the appliance, switch it o and clean the head.

5. Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is switched o. Remove

the removable head and inner blade, clean them with the cleaning brush

and rinse them with water.

6. After cleaning, reinsert the inner blade back into the head and reattach

it to the body of the appliance.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Before starting to clean the appliance, make sure that it is switched o.

- Remove the removable head and inner blade, clean them with the

cleaning brush and rinse them with water if necessary. Allow the parts to

dry thoroughly before reassembly.

- Do not immerse the appliance in water. The detachable accessories/

parts can be cleaned separately.

- Clean the outside of the appliance regularly with a dry cloth or a cloth

slightly dampened with water.

- Do not use detergents, polishes, or cleaning products to clean the

appliance.

- Do not use towels, paper, or aluminium scouring pads to clean the

cutting head.

- After cleaning, reinsert the inner blade back into the head and reattach it

to the body of the appliance.
