■À propos de la fonction active Annulation du
bruit
Le produit est conçu pour utiliser son microphone intégré pour capter le
bruit du milieu environnant (bruit des véhicules, bruit des climatiseurs,
etc.) et supprimer ce bruit en produisant des sons en phase négative. Il en
résulte une réduction des sons dans votre environnement.
•La fonction Annulation du bruit du produit est surtout efficace contre
les bruits dans les basses fréquences, mais tous les bruits ne sont
pas annulés.
•En fonction du type de bruit (ou dans des emplacements calmes), vous
ne constatez peut-être pas l’effet d’annulation du bruit.
•Un léger bourdonnement peut être entendu lors de l’utilisation de la
fonction d’annulation du bruit. C’est un son généré par la fonction
d’annulation du bruit; ce n’est pas un dysfonctionnement.
•L’effet d’annulation du bruit peut varier ou un sifflement (effet Larsen)
peut se produire en fonction de la façon dont vous portez le produit.
Dans ces cas, retirez le produit puis replacez-le correctement dans
vos oreilles.
•Pour optimiser l’effet d’Annulation du bruit, choisissez les embouts qui
ont une meilleure isolation sonore de chaque côté pour bloquer les
sons ambiants, et insérez correctement les écouteurs dans vos oreilles.
•Lorsque vous utilisez le produit dans un train ou dans un véhicule
comme un bus ou un camion, du bruit peut se faire entendre en
fonction de l’état des rails ou de la route.
■Entretien
Prenez l’habitude de nettoyer régulièrement le produit pour qu’il dure
longtemps. N’utilisez pas d’alcool, de diluant à peinture ou d’autres
solvants pour le nettoyage.
•Utilisez un chiffon sec pour nettoyer les écouteurs.
•Les sécrétions naturelles de la peau sont particulièrement susceptibles

cas de présence de sueur ou de saleté. Si vous ne nettoyez pas le
câble, il risque de se détériorer, de se rigidifier et de provoquer un

•Essuyez les fiches du câble fourni avec un chiffon sec si elles sont
sales. Si vous utilisez une fiche sans la nettoyer, le son peut être
saccadé ou déformé.
•Nettoyez les embouts en les retirant des écouteurs et en les nettoyant
manuellement avec un détergent doux dilué. Après nettoyage, laissez-
les sécher avant de les utiliser à nouveau.

アクティブノイズキャンセリング機能について
本製品に内蔵されたマイクロホンで周囲の環境騒音(乗り物の
騒音やエアコンなどの空調音など)を収音し、その逆位相音を出
して騒音を打ち消す仕組みになっています。その結果、環境騒音
が低減して聞こえます。
•
本製品のノイズキャンセリング機能は、主に低い周波数帯域
の騒音に対して効果的ですが、すべての騒音が消えるわけで
はありません。
•
静かな場所や騒音の種類によっては、ノイズキャンセリング効
果が感じられない場合があります。
•
ノイズキャンセリング機能を使用しているとき、「サー」という
音がする場合があります。これはノイズキャンセリング機能の
特性によって発生する音であり、故障ではありません。
•
本製品の装着のしかたによっては、ノイズキャンセリング効果
が減少したり、ピーという音（ハウリング）が出ることがあります。
このような場合は、本製品を装着し直してください。
•
ノイズキャンセリング効果を最大限に発揮するために、付属の
イヤピースから左右それぞれ周囲の音が最も聞こえなくなる
遮音性の高いイヤピースを選択し、しっかりと装着してください。
•
列車、バスやトラックなどといった自動車で本製品をご使用の
場合、レールや路面状況によっては、ノイズが発生することが
あります。
■お手入れのしかた
長くご使用いただくために各部のお手入れをお願いいたします。
お手入れの際は、アルコール、シンナーなど溶剤類は使用しない
でください。
•
本体は乾いた布で汚れを拭いてください。
•
特にイヤピース装着部（図参照）は、イヤピースを通して皮脂
などの汚れが付着します。汚れが付着したまま使用すると、イ
ヤピースが外れやすくなります。こまめに汚れを拭いてください。
なお、音が出る部分は繊細なため、触らないようにしてください。
故障の原因になります。
•
コードが汗などで汚れた場合は、使用後すぐに乾いた布で拭
いてください。汚れたまま使用すると、コードが劣化して固くなり、
故障の原因になります。
•
プラグが汚れた場合は、乾いた布で拭いてください。プラグが
汚れたまま使用すると、音とびや雑音が入る場合があります。
•
イヤピースの洗浄は、イヤホンからイヤピースを取り外し、うす
めた中性洗剤で手洗いしてください。洗浄後は乾いてからご
使用ください。

長い間ご使用にならない場合は、高温多湿を避け、風通し
の良い場所に保管してください。
•
イヤピースは抗菌加工仕様です。表面に汚れがあると抗菌
効果が発揮されません。乾いた布でイヤピースの汚れを拭

Thank you for purchasing this product. Before using the product, read
through the user manual to ensure that you will use the product correctly.
Please keep this manual for future reference.
■Safety precautions
Although this product was designed to be used safely, failing to use it
correctly may result in an accident. To ensure safety, observe all warnings
and cautions while using the product.
•Follow applicable laws regarding headphone use if using the product
while driving.
•Do not use the product in places where the inability to hear ambient
sound presents a serious risk (such as at railroad crossings, train
stations, and construction sites).
•The product effectively shields external sound, so you may not hear
sound around you clearly while wearing the product. Adjust the volume
to a level where you can still hear background sound and monitor the
area around you while listening to music.
•Store this product out of the reach of small children.
•If you begin to feel unwell while using the product, discontinue use
immediately.
•To prevent damage to your hearing, do not raise the volume too high.
Listening to loud sound for an extended period may cause temporary or
permanent hearing loss.
•Discontinue use if skin irritation results from direct contact with the
product.
•Do not disassemble, modify or attempt to repair the product.
•When removing the product from your ears, check to make sure
the eartips are still attached to the main unit. If the eartips become
lodged in your ears and you are unable to remove them, consult a
physician at once.
■Notes on use
•Be sure to read the connected device’s user manual before use.
•Audio-Technica will not be liable in any way for any loss of data in the
unlikely event that such losses should occur while using the product.
•On public transportation or in other public places, keep the volume low
so as not to disturb other people.
•Minimize the volume on your device before connecting the product.
•When using the product in a dry environment, you may feel a tingling
sensation in your ears. This is caused by static electricity accumulated
on your body, not by product malfunction.
•Do not subject the product to strong impact.
•Do not store the product in direct sunlight, near heating devices, or
in hot, humid, or dusty places. Additionally, do not allow the product
to get wet.
•When the product is used for a long time, the product may become
discolored due to ultraviolet light (especially direct sunlight) and wear.
•Do not expose the product to excessive stress or pressure. Doing so
may result in deformation.
•Make sure to connect/disconnect the included cable by holding the
plug. Pulling directly on the included cable can result in a broken wire
and the risk of electric shock.
•The cable may become caught or severed if the product is placed in a
bag without adequate protection.
•Do not wind the cable around your connected device. This may damage
or sever the cable.
•The hear-through function of the product allows you to hear the sounds
around you through the built-in microphone. Depending on the volume
of the music being played back, the surrounding sounds may be
difficult to hear. In this case, turn down the volume of the music.
•Depending on your surroundings, the ambient sounds may be difficult
to hear even when using the product’s hear-through function. Do not
use the product in places that are dangerous if you cannot hear the
surrounding sounds, such as places with heavy traffic.
•Do not connect the product to a USB power adapter or power bank.
■About the active noise-cancelling function
The product is designed to use its built-in microphone to pick up noise
from the surrounding environment (noise from vehicles, noise from air
conditioners, etc.) and to cancel out that noise by producing sounds
in negative phase. This results in a reduction in the sounds in your
environment.
•The product’s noise-cancelling function is mainly effective against
noises in the lower frequency range, but not all noises are cancelled.
•Depending on the type of noise (or in quiet locations), you may not
notice the noise-cancelling effect.
•A slight humming sound may be heard when using the noise-
cancelling function. This is a sound generated by the noise-cancelling
function; it is not a malfunction.
•The noise-cancelling effect may vary or a bleep (howling) may occur
depending on how you wear the product. In these cases, take off the
product and put the product in your ears again correctly.
•To maximize the noise-cancelling effect, select the eartips that offer the
best sound insulation for each side to block surrounding sound, and
insert the headphones into the ears correctly.
•When you use the product in a train or a vehicle such as bus or truck,
noise may be heard depending on rail/street conditions.
■Care
Get into the habit of regularly cleaning the product to ensure that it will
last for a long time. Do not use alcohol, paint thinners or other solvents
for cleaning purposes.
•Use a dry cloth to clean the headphones.
•Natural oils from the skin are particularly likely to build up on the
eartip attachment parts (see figure). If these areas are not cleaned,
the eartips can become detached. Clean them regularly. Do not touch
the areas where sound is produced as they are delicate. Doing so may
result in malfunction.
•After using the included cable, clean it with a dry cloth if sweat or dirt
is present. Failure to clean the cable may cause it to deteriorate and
harden over time, resulting in malfunction.
•Wipe the plugs on included cable with a dry cloth if dirty. Using the
plug without cleaning it can cause sound skipping or distortion.
•Clean the eartips by removing them from the headphones and
manually cleaning them with a diluted mild detergent. After cleaning,
dry before using again.

•For long-time storage, keep the product in a well-ventilated place
without high temperatures and humidity.
•The eartips have antimicrobial properties that help keep them clean
and odor-free. This protection will not be effective if there is dirt on
the eartip surface. Use a dry cloth to wipe any dirt from the eartips.
