Limited Factory Warranty

AFX Inc. hereby warranty that this xture is free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed and used under normal operating conditions for a period of 5 years

from date of shipment from factory. This warranty covers all component parts and extends only to replacement of defective xture or components; it does not cover failure due

to improper installation, misuse, mishandling or damage incurred in transit.

Safety Precautions

Read all safety precautions and installation instructions carefully before installing or servicing this xture. Failure to comply with these instructions could result in potentially fatal

electric shock and/or property damage.

It is recommended that a qualied electrician perform all wiring. This xture must be wired in accordance with all national and local electrical codes.

Do not handle any energized xture or attempt to energize any xture with wet hands or while standing on a wet or damp surface or in water.

This xture is designed for use in a 120-VAC, 60Hz fused circuit. This xture is compatible with 0-10V dimmers. 277

Make sure that the power source conforms to the requirements of the xture. (See labels on the xture housing).

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, and to assure proper operation, this xture must be adequately grounded. To accomplish proper grounding, there must be a separate ground

wire (green) contact between this xture and the ground connection of your main power supply panel.

This xture is intended to be used for general indoor lighting in dry or damp locations.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1 Preparing for installation–

A. before installing or servicing any part of this Disconnect electrical power

xture.

B. Remove xture from carton; remove components from hardware kit.

C. Place the diuser assembly (9), channel cover (7) and hardware o to the side.

D. Remove appropriate knockout(s) on channel assembly (1) for power supply

entry.

E. Install white cover plate (4) to junction box (not included) with two screws (5).

F. Position the channel assembly (1) onto the wall facing the proper direction and

mark all appropriate mounting locations. Take the channel assembly (1) down

and punch a small hole in the wall at each of the marked locations using a nail

to see if there is a wall stud to mount the xture to. Where there is a wall stud,

use a suitable screws (2, not included) to mount the xture. Where there is no

stud to screw into, a toggle bolt or drywall anchor (3, not included) must be

used to mount the channel assembly securely to the wall.

Wiring All wiring must take place inside junction box (not included).–

Caution: Make sure power is o at fuse or circuit breaker box. Check power

wires for damage or scrapes. If the power supply wires are within three inches

of the LED driver, use a wire suitable for at least 90°C (194°F). Note: Most

dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated to 60°C. Consult a qualied

electrician to ensure correct branch circuit conductor before installing.

Step 2 Wiring –

A. Make all wire connections to appropriate wire. Secure with wire nuts

(provided).

B. Connect the green wire from the xture to the supply power source ground wire.

C. Connect black wire from the xture to the black (L) wire from supply power source.

D. Connect white wire from the xture to the white (N) wire from supply power source.

E. Do not mix wires. Pull on each wire lead to make sure connections are secure. Make certain no bare wires are exposed outside of wire

connectors. Tuck all connections neatly into junction box.

Step 3 Mounting channel cover–

A. Install channel cover assembly (7) to the channel (1) by rst connect mated pair connector (6) together then align front hole to the channel and secure with two screws (8).

Step 4 Color Changing Temperature Adjustment, CCT (if desired)–

A. Adjust the two switches on each board accordingly to the desired color temperature as seen below. All boards must be set the same way. Fixture is preset to 3500K from Note:

Step 5 Mounting diffuser–

A. Install the diuser (9) by aing two holes on top to channel (1) and secure with two finials ( lign10).

Step 6 Power to the xture can now be restored –
