TheLP5524deviceisahighlyintegrateddual-zone
LEDdriverthatcandriveuptofourLEDsinparallel
withatotaloutputcurrentof100mA.Regulatedhigh-
sideinternalcurrentsourcesdeliverexcellentcurrent
andbrightnessmatchinginallLEDs.
TheLP5524providesovercurrentprotectionand
pulse-widthmodulation(PWM)controloffour
indicatorLEDswithouttheneedforexternal
components.
LEDdrivercurrentsourcesaresplitintotwo
independentlycontrolledbanksfordrivingsecondary
displays,keypadandindicatorLEDs.Brightness
controlisachievedbyapplyingPWMsignalstoeach
enablepin.DefaultLEDcurrentisfactory-
programmableandanoptionalexternalresistorcan
beusedtosetLEDcurrenttouserprogrammable
values.
