batteryapplications.TheLP3988-Q1workswitha

space-saving1-µFceramiccapacitor.TheLP3988-

Q1featuresanerrorflag-outputthatindicatesafaulty

outputcondition.

TheLP3988-Q1hasperformanceoptimizedfor

battery-poweredsystemstodeliverlownoise,

extremelylowdropoutvoltage,andlowquiescent

current.Regulatorgroundcurrentincreasesonly

slightlyindropout,furtherprolongingthebatterylife.

Power-supplyrejectionisbetterthan60dBatlow

frequenciesandstartstorolloffat10kHz.The

devicemaintainshighpower-supplyrejectiondownto

lowerinputvoltagelevelscommontobattery-

operatedcircuits.

Thedeviceisidealformobilephoneandsimilar

battery-poweredwirelessapplications.Itprovidesup
