dualchannelA-Dconverters.SerialLVDSdataoutputsreducethenumberofinterfacelines,resultingina
compact48-pinQFNpackage(7mm×7mm)thatallowsforhighsystemintegrationdensity.Thedeviceincludes
3.5dBcoarsegainoptionthatcanbeusedtoimproveSFDRperformancewithlittledegradationinSNR.In
additiontothecoarsegain,finegainoptionsalsoexist,programmablein1dBstepsupto6dB.
Theoutputinterfaceis2-wire,whereeachADCdataisserializedandoutputovertwoLVDSpairs.Thismakesit
possibletohalvetheserialdatarate(comparedtoa1-wireinterface)andrestrictittolessthan1Gbpseasing
receiverdesign.TheADS624Xalsoincludesthetraditional1-wireinterfacethatcanbeusedatlowersampling
frequencies.
Aninternalphaselockloop(PLL)multipliestheincomingADCsamplingclocktoderivethebitclock.Thebit
clockisusedtoserializethe14-bitdatafromeachchannel.Inadditiontotheserialdatastreams,theframeand
bitclocksarealsotransmittedasLVDSoutputs.
