TheADS1018-Q1isaprecision,lowpower,12-bit,

noise-free,analog-to-digitalconverter(ADC)that

providesallfeaturesnecessarytomeasurethemost

commonsensorsignals.TheADS1018-Q1integrates

aprogrammablegainamplifier(PGA),voltage

reference,oscillator,andhigh-accuracytemperature

sensor.Thesefeatures,alongwithawidepower-

supplyrangefrom2Vto5.5V,makethe

ADS1018-Q1ideallysuitedforpower-andspace-

constrained,sensor-measurementapplications.

TheADS1018-Q1performsconversionsatdatarates

upto3300samplespersecond(SPS).ThePGA

offersinputrangesfrom±256mVto±6.144V,

allowingbothlargeandsmallsignalstobemeasured

withhighresolution.Aninputmultiplexer(mux)allows

measurementoftwodifferentialorfoursingle-ended

inputs.Thehigh-accuracytemperaturesensorisused

forsystem-leveltemperaturemonitoring,orcold-

junctioncompensationforthermocouples.

TheADS1018-Q1operateseitherincontinuous-

conversionmode,orinasingle-shotmodethat

automaticallypowersdownafteraconversion.

Single-shotmodesignificantlyreducescurrent

consumptionduringidleperiods.Dataaretransferred

throughaserialperipheralinterface(SPI™).The

ADS1018-Q1isspecifiedfrom–40°Cto+125°C.
