CMOS8-bitanalog-to-digitalconverterwithahigh-

speedserialinterface.Unliketheconventional

practiceofspecifyingperformanceatasinglesample

rateonly,theADC084S021isfullyspecifiedovera

sampleraterangeof50kspsto200ksps.The

converterisbaseduponasuccessive-approximation

registerarchitecturewithaninternaltrack-and-hold

circuit.Itcanbeconfiguredtoacceptuptofourinput

signalsatinputsIN1throughIN4.

Theoutputserialdataisstraightbinary,andis

compatiblewithseveralstandards,suchasSPI™,

QSPI™,MICROWIRE,andmanycommonDSP

serialinterfaces.

TheADC084S021operateswithasinglesupplythat

canrangefrom2.7Vto5.25V.Normalpower

consumptionusinga3-Vor5-Vsupplyis1.6mW
