CAUTION:

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS:
1. Batteries may pose a choking hazard, do not let
children handle batteries.
2. Make sure battery door is secured and screw is
tightened before use.
3. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, they may
explode or leak.
4. Remove battery if product will not be used for a
long period of time.
5. Recycle or dispose of battery per local
regulations.
CLEANING AND CARE:
This thermometer has been designed to be
waterproof (IPX7) for easy cleaning and
disinfecting between uses. Please read instruction
manual carefully for additional information. DO
NOT wash in a dishwasher.
BATTERY INFORMATION:
1. Before use, the battery door must be opened to remove
the insulation tab that prevents battery drain during
shipping.
2. Using a small screwdriver, loosen the four (4) screws
just enough to be able to gently lift the battery door
being careful not to pull out the waterproofing
gasket.
3. A clear tab will be in the compartment. Remove
completely and make sure batteries are fully inserted
and making contact. Test thermometer function by
pressing the power button before closing the door.
4. Reposition battery door aligning notches and tighten
screws until the door is flush with the back housing.

details for when readings grow dim or the low battery
indicator comes on.

HOW TO USE:
1. Remove food from oven or cooking surface before inserting thermometer. Unfold stem completely into the
open and locked position.
2. Press the “q” button to start the thermometer. The backlight will also activate for 5 seconds. To turn the
backlight on again, quickly press the “ ” button to activate.q
3. Temperature sensor is in the stem tip. Immerse stem at least 1" for accurate readings.
4. Turn off the thermometer by pressing and holding the “q” button for 2 seconds.
5. Clean probe after use and fold for storage.
**The USDA does not recommend RARE 140˚ as a safe cooking temperature
