2.1Markings
This instruction manual applies to AP series bat‐
teries and AL chargers marked with STIHL,
ALLPRO 40V MAX.

3Main Parts
3.1Lawn Mower and Battery
1Blade Control Lever
Switches the mowing blade on and off
together with the power switch on the operat‐
ing unit.

Operating Unit (HMI), 3.2
Is used to activate the lawn mower and select
mowing modes. It also displays the battery
level and any active faults.

Self-propel Control,
3.3
For setting the self-propel speed.
4Handle
For holding, controlling and transporting the
lawn mower.
5Self-propel Lever
Switches the self-propel on and off and is
used to adjust the self-propel speed.
6Grass Level Indicator
Shows the fill level inside the grass catcher.
7Grass Catcher
Collects cuttings during mowing.
8Handle Adjustment Lever
Enables the handle to be adjusted and folded
down.
9Rear Discharge Cover
Helps prevent the ejection of cuttings during
mowing.
10Grip
For holding the lawn mower when adjusting
the cutting height and transporting the lawn
mower.
11Cutting Height Adjustment Lever
Used to set the height of the mowing blade.
12Flap
Covers the battery compartments.
13Transport Handle
Designed for transporting the lawn mower.
14Side Discharge Cover
Closes off the side discharge opening.
15Side Discharge Opening
Mower deck opening that directs cut grass to
the side.
16Mulch Flap Lever
Used to open and close the integrated mulch
flap.
17Side Discharge Chute
Attachment that directs cut grass to the
ground from the side.
18Mowing Blade
Metal blade for cutting and mulching grass.
19Locking Lever
Secures the battery in the battery compart‐
ment.
20Battery Compartment 1
Holds the battery.
21Battery Compartment 2
Holds a second battery.
22Battery
Supplies the lawn mower with power.

®
" LED (only for batteries with

Indicates whether the Bluetooth® interface is
enabled or disabled.
24Push Button
Activates the battery's LEDs. Activates and
deactivates the Bluetooth® interface (if appli‐
cable).
25Battery LEDs
Indicate the battery's state of charge and dis‐
play error messages regarding potential mal‐
functions in the battery or lawn mower.
#Rating Plate
Contains electrical information and the pro‐
duct's serial number.
