4Grounding Point

• Attach a Grounding Wire to the PoE Injector and to an

Earth Ground Connection

Note: A Grounding Wire is typically green or green with a

yellow stripe and should be at least 18 AWG.

PoE Operation

Mode Switch

• Three positions are available:

• 802.3bt (default). Operates as a 90W

802.3bt PoE++ type 4 PSE (Power Source Equipment)

• PoH + Legacy. Operates as a 95W PoH (Power over HD-

BASE-T) PSE with Legacy function

• Force. Operates as a non-negotiating 4-pair 60W

PoE PSE. Useful for PoE devices that lack a proper

handshake.

Warning! Force Mode is intended for PoE PDs only.

6PoE Usage LEDs

• Steady Amber. Indicates that the system is consuming

over the indicated PoE power budget

• Blinking Amber.Indicates that the system is consuming

under the indicated PoE power budget

7PoE-in-Use LEDs

• SteadyGreen. Indicates that the port is providing 802.3bt

PoE++/PoH/Force power to the remote powered device

• SteadyAmber. Indicates that the port is providing 802.3af/

at PoE/PoE+ power to the remote powered device

• O. Indicates that no power is being provided to the

remote device

8Power LED

• Steady Green. Indicates that power is being supplied to

the PoE Injector
