INTRODUCTION
Thank you for selecting the Oregon Scientiļ¬cā„¢ ALTIMO
Digital Altimeter Watch (RA129). Equipped with real-
time clock, stopwatch, alarm, backlight and keypad lock
functions, this watch can also be used for providing daily
altitude reading.
IMPORTANT
ā€¢ The measurement functions built into the RA129 are
not meant to substitute professional measurement
or industrial precision devices. Values produced
by this device should be considered as reasonable
representations only.

GETTING STARTED
TURN ON DEVICE (FIRST-TIME USE ONLY)
Press any key for 2 seconds to activate the LCD display.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The RA uses a CR2032 3V battery, which has already 129
been installed. See below for battery warnings.
INDICATION DESCRIPTION
The battery is low.
The battery is too low to operate.
The is altitude trend bar chart
cleared.
NOTE While the low battery icon is displayed, altitude
reading, alarm beeping and backlight are disabled. It will
return to normal once battery has been replaced.
NOTE If you need to replace the battery, we highly
recommend you to contact the retailer or our customer
service department.
To replace the battery:
1. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove battery
compartment lid. Once opened, please keep the screws
in a safe place to avoid losing them.
2. Remove the old battery and insert the new one, matching
the polarities.
3. Replace the lid by screwing it back into place using a
Phillips screwdriver.

TIME MODE
This mode is used for viewing the current time and altitude
trend bar chart and for setting the time and date.
TO SET TIME AND DATE
1. Press MODE to navigate to Time Mode.
2. Press and hold to enter settings.SET
3. Press ST/SP/+ or RST/- to change values of the setting.
Press and hold to rapidly change ST/SP/+ or RST/-
values.
4. Press SET to conļ¬rm and move to the next setting.
Repeat steps 3-4 for each setting option. The setting
options are as follows: 12 / 24-hour time; hour; minute;
year; month-day / day-month; month; day; altitude unit
(m / ft); beep on/off.
5. Press MODE anytime to conļ¬rm and exit settings.
DATE MODE
This mode is used for viewing the current date and altitude
trend bar chart. Press to navigate to Date Mode.MODE
ALTIMETER MODE
This mode is used for viewing the current altitude reading.
Press to navigate to Altimeter Mode.MODE
TO SET THE ALTITUDE
For the purpose of accuracy, users are recommended to
manually adjust and set the altitude. The corresponding sea
level pressure will be automatically updated.
1. Press to navigate to Altimeter Mode.MODE
2. Press and hold to enter settings.SET
3. Press ST/SP/+ or RST/- to change values of the setting.
Press and hold or to rapidly change ST/SP/+ RST/-
values.
4. Press MODE to conļ¬rm and exit.
ALTITUDE TREND BAR CHART
This bar chart displays the altitude reading of the passed 7
minutes, with the altitude represented by 5 rows (1 row = 10
m or 32.8 ft) and the 7 minutes represented by 7 columns (1
column = 1 min).
The latest reading is displayed at the last column on the
right and is always positioned at the 3rd row. This is to allow
other columns to adjust their height correlative of the latest
reading.
ALTITUDE OUT OF RANGE
When the altitude is out of range, ā€œHIGHā€ and ā€œLOWā€ will be
displayed until the altitude is within range again.

NOTE When the altitude is out of range, the last column on
the right will become blank until the altitude is within range
again. All the other columns will adjust their height to reļ¬‚ect
the latest reading.
STOPWATCH MODE (CHRONO)
TO START / STOP STOPWATCH
1. Press MODE to navigate to Chrono Mode.
2. Press ST/SP/+ to start / stop stopwatch.
TO RESET STOPWATCH
Press to reset stopwatch.RST/-
NOTE Stopwatch can be reset to 00:00:00 only if it has been
stopped or paused.
ALARM MODE
TO SET ALARM
1. Press MODE to navigate to Alarm Mode.
2. Press and hold to enter settings.SET
3. Press ST/SP/+ or RST/- to change values of the setting.
Press and hold to rapidly change ST/SP/+ or RST/-
values.
4. Press SET to conļ¬rm and move to the next setting.
Repeat steps 3-4 for each setting option. The setting
options are as follows: hour; minute.
5. Press MODE anytime to conļ¬rm and exit settings.
TO ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE ALARM
1. Press MODE to navigate to Alarm Mode.
2. Press ST/SP/+ or RST/- to activate / deactivate alarm.

TO SILENCE ALARM
When the alarm clock is activated, it will sound at the set time
every day. Press any button to stop the alarm for that day.
NOTE The alarm clock is still active and will set off again the
following day.
BACKLIGHT AND KEYPAD LOCK
To activate backlight:
Press / to turn backlight On for 5 seconds.
NOTE The backlight function will not operate if ā€œ ā€ or
ā€œ ā€ is displayed.
To toggle keypad lock On or Off:
Press and hold / for 2 seconds. indicates keypad
is locked.
USE IN THE WATER
The RA129 is water-resistant up to 30 meters (98 feet).
NOTE Set the watch before exposing it to excessive water.
Pressing the keys while in the water or during heavy
rainstorms may cause water to enter the watch.

To ensure you use your product correctly and safely, read

reloj a tiempo real, cronĆ³metro, alarma, retroiluminaciĆ³n y
bloqueo de botones, tambiƩn sirve para disponer de la altura
actual.

PARA EMPEZAR
PARA PONER EN MARCHA EL DISPOSITIVO (SƓLO LA
PRIMERA VEZ QUE SE USA)
Pulse cualquier botĆ³n durante 2 segundos para activar la
pantalla LCD.
CƓMO REEMPLAZAR LAS PILAS
El RA129 funciona con 1 pila CR2032 de 3V que ya lleva
instalada. Consulte la tabla que aparece bajo estas lĆ­neas
para ver el signiļ¬cado de los iconos de la pila.
INDICACIƓN DESCRIPCIƓN
La pila del dispositivo estĆ” casi
gastada.
La pila est demasiado gastada para Ć”
operar. El icono de grĆ”ļ¬co de tendencia
de altura desaparece.
NOTA Mientras se muestra el icono de pila casi gastada,
la funciĆ³n de altura actual, el pitido de la alarma y la
retroiluminaciĆ³n estarĆ”n desactivadas. Una vez cambie la
pila, volverĆ” a la normalidad.
NOTA Le recomendamos que se ponga en contacto con el
vendedor o el departamento de atenciĆ³n al pĆŗblico si tiene
que cambiar la pila.
Para reemplazar la pila:
1. Use un destornillador de cruz pequeƱo para retirar la
cubierta del compartimiento para pila. Una vez abierto,
guarde los tornillos para no perderlos.
2. Retire la pila vieja e introduzca la nueva cuidando de
que las polaridades coincidan.
3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa y fĆ­jela con los tornillos usando
un destornillador.

MODO DE TIEMPO

de altura, asĆ­ como para conļ¬gurar la hora y la fecha.

REGULAR LA ALTURA MANUALMENTE
Para conseguir la mĆ”xima precisiĆ³n, se recomienda ajustar
y regular la altura manualmente. La presiĆ³n del nivel de mar
se actualizarƔ automƔticamente.

2. Pulse SET y mantƩngalo pulsado para entrar en
conļ¬guraciĆ³n.
3. Pulse o ST / SP / + RST / - para modiļ¬car los valores

GRƁFICO DE TENDENCIA DE ALTURA
Este grĆ”ļ¬co de barras muestra la altura de los 7 Ćŗltimos
minutos. La altura estĆ” representada por 5 ļ¬las (1 ļ¬la = 10
m o 32,8 pies) y los 7 minutos aparecen representados por
7 columnas (1 columna = 1 min).
La Ćŗltima lectura se muestra en la columna de mĆ”s a la
derecha, y siempre aparece en la 3ĀŖ ļ¬la. Esto permite a las

Para activar la funciĆ³n de retroiluminaciĆ³n:

EINLEITUNG
Wir danken Ihnen, dass Sie sich fĆ¼r die ALTIMO Digitaluhr mit
Hƶhenmesser von Oregon Scientiļ¬cā„¢ (RA129) entschieden
haben. Diese Armbanduhr ist mit einer Echtzeituhr,
Stoppuhr, Alarm, Hintergrundbeleuchtung und Tastensperre
ausgestattet und kann darĆ¼ber hinaus zur Erstellung der
aktuellen Hƶhenmessung verwendet.
WICHTIG
ā€¢ Die in der integrierten Messfunktionen sind nicht RA129
dafĆ¼r vorgesehen, professionelle Messinstrumente
oder industrielle PrƤzisionsgerƤte zu ersetzen. Die
von diesem GerƤt erzeugten Werte sollten lediglich als
Richtwerte angesehen werden.

ERSTE SCHRITTE
GERƄT EINSCHALTEN (NUR BEI ERSTMALIGER
INBETRIEBNAHME)
DrĆ¼cken Sie 2 Sekunden lang auf eine beliebige Taste, um
die LCD-Anzeige zu aktivieren.
BATTERIEWECHSEL
Die RA129 benƶtigt 1 Batterie des Typs CR2032, 3V, die
bereits im GerƤt installiert ist. Die Batteriewarnanzeigen
werden nachstehend erlƤutert.
ANZEIGE BESCHREIBUNG
Die Ladung der Batterie ist niedrig.

Hƶhentrend ƶ ist gel scht.
HINWEIS WƤhrend das Symbol fĆ¼r die schwache Batterie
angezeigt wird, sind die aktuellen Hƶhenmessung verwendet,
die Alarmsignalisierung und die Hintergrundbeleuchtung
deaktiviert. Das GerƤt nimmt den regulƤren Betrieb wieder
auf, wenn die Batterie ersetzt wurde.
HINWEIS Wenn Sie die Batterie austauschen mĆ¼ssen,
empfehlen wir dringend, sich an Ihren FachhƤndler oder
unsere Kundendienststelle zu wenden.
So wechseln Sie die Batterie:
1. Ɩffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel mit einem kleinen
Kreuzschraubenzieher. Bewahren Sie die Schrauben
anschlieƟend an einem sicheren Ort auf, damit sie nicht
verloren gehen.
2. Entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie, legen Sie die neue ein und
achten Sie auf die Ɯbereinstimmung der PolaritƤten.
3. Bringen Sie den Deckel mit dem Kreuzschraubenzieher
wieder an.

umzuschalten:

UHRZEITMODUS
Dieser Modus wird verwendet, um die aktuelle Zeit und die
Balkendiagramm fĆ¼r Hƶhentrend anzuzeigen, sowie zur
Einstellung von Uhrzeit und Datum.
SO STELLEN SIE ZEIT UND DATUM EIN
1. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf MODE, um zum Uhrzeitmodus zu
navigieren.
2. Halten Sie SET gedrĆ¼ckt, um die Einstellungen aufzurufen.
3. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf , um die Werte der ST/SP/+ oder RST/-
Einstellung zu Ƥndern. oderHalten Sie ST/SP/+ RST/-
gedr Ƥndern. Ć¼ckt, um die Werte rasch zu

5. DrĆ¼cken Sie zu einem beliebigen Zeitpunkt auf MODE,
um die Einstellungen zu bestƤtigen und zu beenden.
DATUMSMODUS
Dieser Modus wird verwendet, um das aktuelle Datum und
die Balkendiagramm fĆ¼r Hƶhentrend anzuzeigen. DrĆ¼cken
Sie auf , um zum Datumsmodus zu navigieren.MODE
HƖHENMESSER-MODUS
Dieser Modus wird zur Anzeige der aktuellen Hƶhenmessung
verwendet. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf , um zum Hƶhenmesser-MODE
Modus zu navigieren.
HƖHE MANUELL EINZUSTELLEN
Zum Zwecke der Genauigkeit wird dem Benutzer empfohlen, die
Hƶhe manuell anzupassen und einzustellen. Der entsprechende
Luftdruck auf Meereshƶhe wird automatisch aktualisiert.
1. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf , um zum Hƶhenmesser-Modus MODE
zu navigieren.
2. Halten Sie SET gedrĆ¼ckt, um die Einstellungen aufzurufen.
3. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf , um die Werte der ST/SP/+ RST/- oder
Einstellung zu Ƥndern. Halten Sie ST/SP/+ RST/- oder
gedrĆ¼ckt, um die Werte rasch zu Ƥndern.
4. DrĆ¼cken Sie zur BestƤtigung und zum Beenden auf MODE.
BALKENDIAGRAMM FƜR HƖHENTREND
Dieses Balkendiagramm zeigt die Hƶhenmessung der
abgelaufenen 7 Minuten an, wobei die Hƶhe durch 5 Zeilen
(1 Zeile = 10 m oder 32,8 FuƟ) und die 7 Minuten durch 7
Spalten (1 Spalte = 1 Min.) dargestellt werden.
Der letzte Messwert wird in der letzten Spalte rechts
angezeigt und wird immer in der 3. Zeile positioniert. Auf
diese Weise wird den anderen Spalten ermƶglicht, ihre Hƶhe
korrelierend zum letzten Messwert anzupassen.
HƖHE AUSSERHALB DES MESSBEREICHS
Wenn sich die Hƶhe auƟerhalb des Messbereichs beļ¬ndet,
wird ā€œHIGHā€ und ā€œLOWā€ angezeigt, bis der Hƶhenwert wieder
innerhalb des Messbereichs liegt.

HINWEIS Wenn sich die Hƶhe auƟerhalb des Messbereichs
beļ¬ndet, bleibt die letzte Spalte rechts solange leer, bis der
Hƶhenwert wieder innerhalb des Messbereichs liegt. Alle
anderen Spalten passen ihre Hƶhe entsprechend an, um
den letzten Messwert wiederzugeben.
STOPPUHR-MODUS (CHRONO)
SO STARTEN / BEENDEN SIE DIE STOPPUHR
1. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf MODE, um zum Chronomodus zu
navigieren.
2. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf ST/SP/+, um die Stoppuhr zu starten /
zu beenden.
SO SETZEN SIE DIE STOPPUHR ZURƜCK
DrĆ¼cken Sie auf , um die Stoppuhr zurĆ¼ckzusetzen.RST/-
HINWEIS Die Stoppuhr kann nur auf 00:00:00 zurĆ¼ckgesetzt
werden, wenn sie beendet oder unterbrochen wurde.

1. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf MODE, um zum Alarmmodus zu navigieren.
2. DrĆ¼cken Sie auf ST/SP/+ oder RST/-, um den Alarm zu
aktivieren / zu deaktivieren. gibt an, dass der Alarm
aktiviert wurde.
3. DrĆ¼cken Sie zur BestƤtigung und zum Beenden auf
MODE.
SO SCHALTEN SIE DEN ALARM STUMM
Wenn die Alarmuhr aktiviert wurde, ertƶnt sie tƤglich zur
eingestellten Zeit. DrĆ¼cken Sie eine beliebige Taste, um den
Alarm fĆ¼r den aktuellen Tag zu beenden.
HINWEIS Die Alarmuhr ist nach wie vor aktiv und wird am
darauffolgenden Tag erneut ausgelƶst.
HINTERGRUNDBELEUCHTUNG UND TASTENSPERRE
So aktivieren Sie die Hintergrundbeleuchtung:

5 Sekunden lang einzuschalten.
HINWEIS Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung funktioniert nicht,

So schalten Sie die Tastensperre ein oder aus:

VERWENDUNG IM WASSER
