FEATURES
- Unique Night FinderTM feature to locate the clock in the dark.
- View the current time and alarm time simultaneously.
- Wake gently! The audible alarm initially sounds with a series of
beeps at a low level, and gradually increases in volume.
- Eight minute snooze function activates with unique Lite Touch
feature.
- Bright blue HiGloTM backlight illuminates the display for easy
night-time viewing and flashes when the alarm goes off.
- Protective hinged cover keeps buttons from resetting in transit
and also acts as a table-top stand.

INSTALLING AND REPLACING BATTERY
The unit uses two pieces of AAA Alkaline battery for backlight and
one piece of LR44 button cell for clock.
If the display backlight becomes dim, remove the exhausted AAA
batteries and follow these steps to replace them:
1. Slide the battery door “J” in the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert the AAA battery as indicated by the polarity symbols
( + and - ) marked inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment door.
If the display becomes dim, remove the exhausted LR44 button
cell battery and follow these steps to replace it:
1. Use a philips type screw driver to unscrew the battery hatch “I”
and open it.
2. Remove the exhausted LR44 battery and insert fresh battery as
indicated by the polarity symbols marked inside the battery
compartment.
3. Replace the battery hatch and fasten the lock-screw with a screw
driver.
TABLE STANDING
To use the cover as a stand, rotate the hinged cover over the back of
the clock.

HOW TO SET THE CLOCK TIME
1. Lift the cover to reveal the setting buttons.
2. Slide the [TIME SET/LOCK/ALARM SET] switch to the
TIME SET position. The time on the top of display flashes
[SEE FIG.2] :

D) 24 hour display
3. Press the [UP] or [DOWN] arrow button to increase/decrease the
setting in one minute increments until the desired hour and
minute are dis-played. Press and hold the [UP] or button[DOWN]
for faster setting.
4. When the correct time is displayed, slide the [TIME SET/LOCK/
ALARM SET] switch to the LOCK position. The time display
stops flashing and the time is set.
HOW TO SET THE ALARM TIME
1. Slide the [TIME SET/LOCK/ALARM SET] switch to the
ALARM SET position. The alarm time at the bottom of the
display flashes [SEE FIG.3]:

2. Press the [UP] or arrow button to increase/decrease the[DOWN]
setting in one minute increments until the desired hour and
minute are displayed. Press and hold the [UP] or [DOWN] button
for faster setting.
3. Slide the [TIME SET/LOCK/ALARM SET] switch to the LOCK
position. The alarm time display stops flashing and the alarm
time is set.
IMPORTANT: After your alarm time has been set, you MUST slide
the [ALARM ON/OFF] switch to the ON position to activate the
alarm.
ABOUT THE ALARM
1. Slide the [ALARM ON/OFF] switch to the ON position. An
alarm ON/ OFF indicator is displayed on the LCD display. Now
the alarm will sound at the programmed time.
2. The alarm wakes you gently with a series of beeps that gradually
increase in volume.
3. To silence the alarm slide the [ALARM ON/OFF] switch to the
OFF position. The alarm indicator disappears from the display
and the alarm is deactivated.
Note:
Remember, you must slide the [ALARM ON/OFF] switch to the
ON position to use again. However, for your convenience, the alarm
will automatically shut off after one minute and will sound again
at the same time the next day.
HOW TO USE THE SNOOZE
The Lite Touch feature enables you to activate the 8 minute snooze
by gently rocking the alarm backwards on its stand with the touch
of your fingers. [ SEE FIG. 4 ]
LITE TOUCH HiGloTM BACKLIGHT
Using the Lite Touch feature, the display backlight will be activate
for three seconds so you can see the display in the dark. The light
then automatically turns off.

UNIQUE NightfinderTM FUNCTION
Press the [NIGHT FINDER] button once and [ ] appears on the
display.
The display backlight flashes every few seconds.
Note: The NightïŹnderTM feature is intended for use in a very dark
environment. You may not be able to see the flashing display under
normal light conditions.

IMPORTANT: The NightfinderTM should only be used in an
unfamiliar enviroment, such as hotel room, so as not to drain the
battery. Under constant use conditions, the battery life will be
reduced significantly.
THE RESET FUNCTION
If your clock doesn’t work properly, you can use a pin object to
push the [RESET] button once to reset the unit. After reset you
need to set the clock and alarm times again.
MAINTENANCE
The following suggestions will help you care for the Travel Alarm
Clock so you can enjoy it for years.
1. Keep the Clock dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately, liquids
might contain minerals that can corrode the electronic circuits.
2. Use and store the Clock only in normal temperature
environments. Temperature extremes can shorten the life of
electronic devices, damage batteries, and distort or melt plastic
parts.
3. Handle the Clock gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage
circuit boards and cause the Travel Alarm Clock to work
improperly.
4. Keep the Clock away from dust and dirt, which can cause
premature wear of parts.
5. Wipe the Clock with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it
looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or
strong detergents to clean the Clock.
6. Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. Always
remove old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that can
destroy electronic circuits.
7. Modifying or tampering with the Clock’s internal components
can cause a malfunction and might invalidate is warranty.

INSTALLATION ET REMPLACEMENT DE
LA PILE
L’ appareil utilise 2 piles UM-4 ou Alcaline du tupe ‘AAA’ pour la
lumiùre de fond et une pile LR44 (incluse) pour l’heure.
Si l’affichage devient faible, enlevez les piles AAA usagĂ©es et suivez
les Ă©tapes suivantes pour les remplacer:
1. Faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment Ă  pile dans le sens
de la flĂšche.
2. Installez la pile de type AAA en respectant la polarité (+et-)
indiquĂ©e Ă  l’intĂ©rieur du compartiment.
3. Remettez le couvercle du compartiment Ă  pile.
Si l’affichage devient faible, enlevez la piles LR44 usagĂ©es et suivez
les Ă©tapes suivantes pour les remplacer:
1. Utiliser un tournevis du type philips pour desserrer la couverture
du logement des piles “I” et ouvrez-la.
2. Enlevez les piles usagées LR44 et insérez une pile fraßches tel
qu’indiquĂ© par les symboles de polaritĂš l’intĂ©rieur du logement
des piles.
3. Replacez la couverture du logement des piles and serrez-la avec
un tournevis.
SUPPORT HORIZONTAL
Pour transformer le couvercle en support, faites pivoter le couvercle’
vers arriùre de l’horloge.

MISE A L’HEURE DE L’HORLOGE
1. Soulevez le couvercle pour accéder aux touches de
programmation.
2. Faites glisser le bouton [TIME SET / LOCK / ALARM SET] en
position TIME SET. L’heure affichĂ©e en haut de l’écran
commence alors Ă  clignoter. [VOIR SCHEMA 2]

3. Appuyez sur la touche [UP] ou [DOWN] pour faire avancer ou
reculer les chiffres jusqu’a ce que l’heure dĂ©sirĂ©e apparaisse Ă 
l’écran. Gardez la touche enfoncĂ©e pour accĂ©lĂ©rer le changement.
4. Lorsque l’heure exacte est affichĂ©e, faites glisser le bouton [TIME
SET / LOCK / ALARM SET] en position LOCK. L’heure affichĂ©e
cesse de clignoter, signalant que l’heure est programmĂ©e.

INSTALACION Y CAMBIO DE LAS PILAS
El aparato usa una pila alcalina del tipo “AAA”
Si la luz de fondo de la pantalla se debilitase, quitar las pilas “AAA”
gastadas y seguir estas instrucciones para su recambio:
1. Desplaze la tapa del compartimento de las pilas en la direcciĂłn
de la flecha.
2. Introduzca las pilas “AAA” con la polaridad indicada por los
sĂ­mbolos (+ y -) marcados en la parte interior del compartimento
de las pilas.
3. Vuelva a poner la tapa del compartimento de las pilas.
Si la pantalla se oscureciese, quitar la pila de botĂłn LR44 gastada
y seguir estas instrucciones para su recambio:
1. Utilizar un destornillador Philips para destornillar la tapadera
“I” y abrir.
2. Sacar la pila gastada LR44 y colocar una nueva, tal y como lo
indican los sĂ­mbolos de polarizaciĂłn marcados en el
compartimiento de pilas.
3. Colocar la tapadera de pilas y asegurar el tornillo de cierre con
el destornillador.
ESTANTE
Para usar la tapa como estante, gire la tapa de visagra hacia detrĂĄs
del reloj.

AJUSTE DE LA HORA DEL RELOJ
1. Levante la tapa para acceder a los botones.
2. Seleccione el interruptor [TIME SET/LOCK/ALARM SET] en
la posiciĂłn TIME SET. La hora en la parte superior del monitor
parpadearĂĄ [Ver Dibujo 2]

3. Apriete el botĂłn de flecha [UP] o [DOWN] para aumentar o
disminuir el ajuste en fracciones de un minuto hasta que la hora
deseada es visualizada. Apriete y mantenga el botĂłn [UP] o
[DOWN] para conseguir un movimiento rĂĄpido.
4. Cuando la hora correcta es visualizada, seleccione el interruptor
[TIME SET/LOCK/ALARM SET] en la posiciĂłn LOCK. La
hora dejarĂĄ de parpadear y serĂĄ ajustada.
COMO AJUSTAR LA HORA DE LA

1. PosiciĂłn SET. La hora de la alarma en la parte inferior del monitor

2. Apriete el botĂłn de flecha [UP] o [DOWN] para aumentar o
disminuir fracciones de un minuto hasta que la hora deseada es
visualizada. Apriete y mantenga el botĂłn [UP] o [DOWN] para
una mĂĄs rĂĄpida rotaciĂłn.
3. Seleccione el interruptor [TIME SET/LOCK/ALARM SET] en
la posiciĂłn LOCK. La hora de la alarma visualizada pararĂĄ de
parpadear. La hora de la alarma estĂĄ ajustada.
IMPORTANTE: Una vez la hora de la alarma estĂĄ ajustada, usted
debe seleccionar la posiciĂłn ON del interruptor [ALARM ON/OFF],
para activar la alarma.
ACERCA DE LA ALARMA
1. Seleccione la posiciĂłn ON en el interruptor [ALARM ON/OFF].
Un indicador es visualizado en el monitor ON/OFF LCD. Ahora
la alarma se activarĂĄ a la hora programada.
2. Para desactivar la alarma, seleccione la posiciĂłn OFF del
interruptor [ALARM ON/OFF]. El indicador de la alarma
desaparecerĂĄ del monitor y la alarma quedarĂĄ desactivada.
Nota:
Recuerde que usted debe seleccionar la posiciĂłn ON del interruptor
[ ALARM ON/OFF] para activar la alarma de nuevo. De todas
maneras, para su conveniencia, la alarma se apagarĂĄ
automaticamente después de un minuto, y sonarå de nuevo, a la
misma hora al dia siguiente.
COMO USAR LA FUNCION SIESTA
(SNOOZE)
La funciĂłn de Suave PulsaciĂłn le permite activar los 8 minutos de
siesta (snooze) apretando gentilmente la parte trasera del estante
de la alarma con el toque de sus dedos.

SUAVE PULSACION DE LA LUZ TRASERA
Usando la funciĂłn de Luz Trasera, el monitor se activarĂĄ por tres
segundos, de modo que pueda verlo en la oscuridad. Después, la
luz se apagara automaticamente.

SINGULAR FUNCION NightfinderTM
Pulsar el botĂłn [NIGHT FINDER] una vez y el sĂ­mbolo [ ]
aparecerĂĄ en la pantalla. La luz posterior de la pantalla destellarĂĄ
cada cuantos segundos.
Nota: La funciĂłn NightfinderTM facilita la lectura en ambientes muy
oscuros. Es posible que no se pueda ver la pantalla destellante bajo
condiciones de luz normal.

IMPORTANTE: El Buscador Nocturno deberĂ­a ser solamente
utilizado en lugares no familiares, tales como la habitaciĂłn de un
hotel. Ya que si no, gastarĂ­a las pila en demasĂ­a. Si se usa demasiado,
la duraciĂłn de la pila se reducirĂĄ significativamente.
LA FUNCION DE REAJUSTE
Si el reloj no funciona correctamente, el usuario podrĂĄ utilizar un
objeto puntiagudo para pulsar el botón de “Reajuste” para reajustar
el aparato. Seguidamente se deberĂĄn de volver a ajustar el reloj y la
alarma.
MANTENIMIENTO
Los siguientes consejos ayudarĂĄn el cuidado de su Reloj-Alarma
de Viaje,Permitiéndole disfrutarlo por mås años.
1. Mantenga el reloj seco. Si se moja, séquelo inmediatamente.
LĂ­quidos pueden contener minerales que pueden corroer los
circuitos electrĂłnicos.
2. Use y guarde el reloj en temperaturas ambiente. Temperaturas
extremas pueden acortar la vida de los componentes
electrónicos, dañar las pilas, y distorsionar o fundir partes de
plĂĄstico.
3. Manipule el Reloj gentilmente y con cuidado. Si se cae al suelo,
los circuitos electrónicos se pueden dañar y puede causar un
mal funcionamiento.
4. Mantenga el reloj apartado del polvo y suciedad, lo cual puede
desgastar sus partes.
5. De vez en cuando, limpie el Reloj con un paño hĂșmedo, para que
siga pareciendo nuevo. No use productos quĂ­micos abrasivos,
disolventes de limpieza, o fuertes detergentes para limpiar el
Reloj.
6. Use solamente pilas nuevas del tipo y medida requeridos.
Siempre saque las pilas viejas o gastadas. Estas pueden filtrar

pour mettre le réveil.
SONNERIE
1. Faites glisser le bouton [ALARM ON/OFF] en position ON. Le
tĂ©moin de marche/arrĂȘt sonnerie est affichĂ© Ă  l’écran LCD. Le
rĂ©veil sonnera alors Ă  l’heure programmĂ©e.
2. La sonnerie vous réveille en douceur, le volume, atténué au
départ, augmentant progressivement.
3. Pour arrĂȘter la sonnerie, faites glisser le bouton [ALARM ON/
OFF] en position OFF. Le tĂ©moin de marche/arrĂȘt sonnerie
disparaĂźt alors de l’écran et la sonnerie est dĂ©sactivĂ©e.
Remarque:
Vous devez remettre le bouton [ALARM ON/OFF] en position ON
si vous désirez ré-activer la sonnerie. Cependant, la sonnerie
s’arrĂȘtera automatiquement aprĂšs une minute et sonnera de nouveau
le lendemain Ă  la mĂȘme heure.
LA FONCTION “SOMME”
Faites basculer l’horloge lĂ©gĂšrement en arriĂšre et le systĂšme Ultra-
Sensible activera la fonction “Somme” pendant 8 minutes. [VOIR

ECLAIRAGE D’ECRAN HiGloTH AVEC LE
SYSTEME ULTRA-SENSIBLE
Le systĂšme Ultra-Sensible Ă©claire l’écran pendant 3 secondes,
permettant sa lecture dans l’obscuritĂ©, puis s’éteint
automatiquement.

FONCTION NightfinderTM UNIQUE
Appuyer une fois sur [NIGHT FINDER] et [ ] apparaĂźtra sur
l’afficheur. Le rĂ©tro-Ă©clairage clignotera Ă  intervalles de quelques
secondes.
Remarque : Le NightfinderTM est conçu pour utilisation dans
l’obscuritĂ©.
L’affichage clignotant peut ĂȘtre trĂšs difficile Ă  voir dans des
conditions d’éclairage normales.

REMARQUE IMPORTANTE : Afin de conserver la pile, utilisez la
NightfinderTH uniquement dans un environnement Ă©tranger tel
qu’une chambre d’hîtel. L’ utilisation continue de cette fonction
accĂ©1Ă©rera sensiblement l’usure de la pile.
REMISE A ZERO
Si votre horloge ne fonctionne pas normalement, vous pouvez
utiliser un objet pointu pour appuyer sur la touche de
rĂ©initialisation [RESET] pour rĂ©initialiser l’appareil. AprĂšs
rĂ©initialisation vous devez rĂ©gler l’heure de l’horloge et du rĂ©veil
de nouveau.
ENTRETIEN
Suivez ces conseils d’entretien de votre Horloge de Voyage et vous
en profiterez pendant de nombreuses années.
1. Gardez l’horloge au sec. En cas de contact avec Ă  l’eau, sĂ©chez-
la immédiatement. Les liquides peuvent contenir des minéraux
pouvant attaquer les circuits éléctriques.
2. Utilisez et stockez l’horloge Ă  des tempĂ©ratures normales. Les
extrĂȘmes de tempĂ©rature peuvent Ă©courter la durĂ©e de vie des
appareils électroniques, dégrader les piles et déformer les
composants en plastique.
3. Manipulez l’horloge avec soin. Un choc pourrait endommager
les circuits Ă©lectriques et provoquer un mauvais fonctionnement
de l’Horloge de Voyage.
4. Gardez l’horloge à l’abri de la poussiùre qui peut causer une
usure prĂšmaturĂše des composants.
5. Nettoyez l’horloge de temps en temps à l’aide d’un chiffon
humide. N’ utilisez jamais de produit chimique, solvent ou
dĂ©tĂ©rgent puissant pour le nettoyage de l’horloge.
6. Utilisez seulement des piles neuves du type prescrit. Enlevez
toujours les vieilles piles ou les piles usées; elles risquent de 086-001794-15
