Please read these instructions before using this product. They include

important safety and operation information.

WARNINGS

yNOT FOR USE ABOVE HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS

yDO NOT use in explosive atmospheres, near ammable liquids, or where

explosion proof lamps are required.

yDO NOT use in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a risk

of ammable liquids coming into contact with the ashlight.

yDO NOT expose the batteries to water or salt water, or allow the batteries

to get wet.

yDO NOT store the batteries with metallic objects that may cause a short

circuit.

yImmediately discontinue use of the batteries if they emit an unusual smell,

feel hot, change color, change shape or appear abnormal in any way.

yKeep out of the reach of children.

OPERATION

The MT-230 has four light modes: momentary ashlight, low-brightness

ashlight, medium-brightness ashlight and high-brightness ashlight. The

MT-230 has a single tail-cap switch providing access to all modes.

MOMENTARY FLASHLIGHT MODE

Lightly press the tail-cap switch for momentary operation. Release the

switch to turn the light off. Because the MT-230 is a multi-function light, if the

momentary ashlight mode is activated within 2 seconds of having turned

off the ashlight, pressing the switch again will activate the next mode in the

ashlight’s operation. If more than 2 seconds have elapsed since turning off

the ashlight, the low-brightness mode will be activated the next time the tail-

cap switch is pressed.

CONSTANT-ON

Press the tail-cap switch until it clicks and then release for constant-on

in low-brightness mode. Press and release the tail-cap switch again to turn

the light off. Because the MT-230 is a multi-function light, if the constant-

on ashlight mode is activated within 2 seconds of having turned off the

ashlight, pressing the switch again will activate the next mode in the

ashlight’s operation. If more than 2 seconds have elapsed since turning

off the ashlight, the low-brightness mode will be activated the next time the

tail-cap switch is pressed.

SELECT BRIGHTNESS LEVEL

Press the tail-cap switch either partially (momentary mode) or until the tail-

cap switch clicks (constant-on mode) multiple times in a row, and the ashlight

will cycle to the next mode in the ashlight’s operation (low-brightness,

medium-brightness and high-brightness). At that point, the next press of the

tail-cap switch (within 2 seconds) will start the ashlight’s mode over again

with low-brightness. When the desired brightness level is reached, simply

stop cycling through the brightness selection process. To turn the light off

from momentary mode, simply release the tail-cap switch. To turn the light

off from constant-on mode, simply press the tail-cap switch one more time.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in

workmanship and materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited

Lifetime Warranty includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable

batteries, chargers, switches, electronics and included accessories are

warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase. Normal wear and

failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation and

lightning damage are excluded.

We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be

defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any

warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose.
