GENERAL WARNINGS

Read all instructions. Failure to follow these warnings and instructions may result in

serious bodily injury or property damage

• Weight ratings are contingent on:

• panels being properly installed according to installation instructions provided;

• load being properly distributed; and

• appropriate mounting surface that can bear the weight.

• Be sure to mount on flat, even surfaces, without contours to ensure secure, snug

installation.

• Use ONLY provided wood screws for installing on drywall or wood.

• Regularly inspect the mount and installation:

• Ensure hardware is snug and secured.

• Replace any missing or damaged hardware.

• Replace damaged or cracked mount and accessories.

• MODbox wall/flour mounts are for use ONLY with compatible Klein Tools branded

accessories.

VAN AND TRAILER WARNINGS

• A bulkhead must be installed if mounting the mount and boxes in the back of a van to

provide protection for the occupant.

• Follow vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines and instructions for mounting method and

appropriate locations.

• Be sure to mount on flat, even surfaces, without contours to ensure secure, snug

installation.

• When using vertically, install the mount with the arrow facing upward and the “THIS SIDE

UP FOR WALL MOUNTING” legible.

• Use fasteners and hardware appropriate for your specific application, such as those

recommended below. If you are unsure, seek the help of a trained professional.

• Only mount boxes that can be fully and adequately secured to the mount

• Due to dynamic loading conditions when mounting in vertical van and trailer applications,

the static maximum weight rating of MODbox wall products and accessories should be

reduced. Overloading can cause the mount and/or the boxes to loosen, fall, or break,

resulting in injury and/or property damage. See CAPACITY section above for details. See

each individual component for its static maximum weight rating.
