•SHUT OFF POWER SUPPLY AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER!
•USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Remove the
oldxturefromtheceiling,includingtheoldmountingstrap.
1.Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Mountingstrap(B)contains
threadedholes.Twoofmountingscrews(A)shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap(B).
Youmayneedtotightennuts(C)thatholdthesescrewsinplace.
2.Placemountingstrap(B)overthejunctionboxsothatmountingscrews(A)are
vertical,andinalignmentwiththeholelocationsonthexture’scanopy(F).Secure
mountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(D)andascrewdriver.
Tightenthescrewssecurely.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE
3.Measuretodeterminethecorrectnumberofrodsneededforhanging.Rods(LandK)
areonthexture’swires.Bymeasuring,determinethecorrectnumberofrodsneeded
forproperhangingheight.Thereare3optional12inchrods(L)andone6inchrod(K)
included.Youmustuseatleastone12inchrodorone6inchrod.
4.Toshortenthexture,trimthewirestothedesiredlengthaddingatleast8to10
inchesofwiretothedesiredlength.Slideanyexcessrodsoffthexture’swiresto
discard.Tolengthenthexture,addadditionalrods.Ifadditionalrodsareneeded,
contact the place of purchase to order.
5.Threadthexture’swiresthroughtherodsandpullthewiresuntiltautbeforethreading
therodstogether.
6.Threadbottomrod(LorK)ontopost(M)atthetopofthexture’sbody.Twisttoprod
(L or K) into the threads of swivel post (G) of canopy (F).
7.Locktherodinplacebytwistingscrew(I).Pullthexture’swiresthroughtheswivel
and the top of canopy (F).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
8.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthewiring.Cutaway
theexcesswires.Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’swirestothepower
supplywiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot,NeutraltoNeutral,andGround
toGround.Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.
Makesurealltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecoming
fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onthemountingbracket/mountingstrap
andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Useascrewdrivertotighten
thetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresandintothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.
Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
9.Pushcanopy(F)uptotheceilingandtightlythreadnuts(H)ontotheexposedthreads
mountingscrews(A).
10.Installalightbulbinaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthe
maximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
