Der industrietaugliche EX 1163HMS USB Hub mit vier USB 2.0 Ausgängen kann an die Wand - -

mitgelieferten USB 2.0 Kabel angeschlossen. Er verfügt über einen 15KV ESD
Überspannungsschutz für alle vier USB 2.0 Downstream Ports. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt
wahlweise über USB (Bus Power) oder den 3 poligen Klemmleistenanschluss (7 24 VDC). Über - - -
zwei interne Jumper kann die Stromausgabe an den Downstream Ports nach eigenen
Bedürfnissen individuell konfiguriert werden. Der EX 1163HMS erfüllt die speziellen -

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
To clean the device, please use only a dry, non fibrous cloth and remove the dirt with light -
pressure. In the area of the connections, please make sure that no fibers of the cloth are left in
the socket. Attention! Never use a moist or wet cloth for cleaning!
CLEANING
Please read the following installation instructions.
1. - - Install the EX 1163HMS on a wall or a mounting rail using the DIN Rail kit.
2. - Connect the USB cable to the USB B Port at the Hub.
3. Connect the power connector of the optionally available power supply to the terminal block
and turn on the power supply.
4. When the power is turned on, the PWR indicator lights up. If the indicator is not lit, check
for proper connection to the power supply.
5. - - Now connect the other end from the USB cable (A Plug) to the A Port at your PC.

Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Installationshinweise.
1. -Installieren Sie den EX 1163HMS direkt an eine Wand oder mit dem DIN Rail Kit auf eine -
Trägerschiene.
2. - Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte USB Kabel mit der USB B Buchse des Hub´s.
3. Schließen Sie den Stromanschluss des optional erhältlichen Netzteils an den Terminal
Block an und schalten Sie das Netzteil ein.
4. Nach dem Einschalten des Geräts leuchtet die PWR Anzeige. Wenn die Anzeige nicht -
leuchtet, überprüfen Sie den korrekten Anschluss an die Stromversorgung.
5. - -Verbinden Sie nun das andere Ende (A Stecker) des mitgelieferten USB Kabels mit der A
Buchse an Ihrem PC.

The EX 1163HMS is a rugged, industrial grade USB hub with four USB 2.0 outputs that can be - -
wall mounted or rail mounted. It connects to a computer or server via the supplied USB 2.0 - -
cable and features 15KV ESD surge protection for all four downstream USB 2.0 ports. Power is
supplied either via USB (bus power) or via the 3 pin terminal block (7 24V DC). Two internal - -
jumpers can be used to configure the power output at the downstream ports to suit individual
requirements. The EX 1163HMS is designed to meet the special requirements of industrial -
applications and is very compact and robust.

Zur Reinigung des Gerätes verwenden Sie bitte ausschließlich ein trockenes nicht faserndes
Tuch und entfernen Sie die Verschmutzung mit leichtem Druck. Im Bereich der Anschlüsse bitte
darauf achten, dass keine Fasern des Tuchs in der Buchse hinterlassen werden.
Verwenden Sie bitte zur Reinigung in keinem Fall ein feuchtes oder nasses Tuch!
