HARDWAREINSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PCs, we can give you only a general installation

guide for the EX11241HMS. Please refer your computers reference manual whenever in -’

doubt.

1.--Install the EX11241HMS on a mounting rail by using the DINRail Kit or on the wall using

the Wall Mounting Brackets.

2.Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable with the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Upstream BPort at the EX--

11241HMS.

3.Now connect the power connector of the optional available power supply to the DC-Jack or to

the Terminal Block of the hub and insert the power plug of the power supply into an electrical

outlet.

4.Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable (APlug) to the USB APort at --

your PC.

DRIVER INSTALLATION

All Operating Systems

After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX11241HMS -

automatically and install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB-Controller“the following new entry:

Der robuste und industrietaugliche EX11241HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 1 Metall Hub für bis zu -

zehn Endgeräte. Durch sein kompaktes und industrietaugliches Gehäuse, kann er problemlos

an die Wand oder auch auf einer Trag oder Hutschiene installiert werden. Zusätzlich ist der EX-

-11241HMS mit 15KV ESD Überspannungsschutz an allen Ports ausgestattet. Er unterstützt

SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 von bis zu 5Gbit/s und ist abwärtskompatibel bis USB 1.1. Der EX-

11241HMS ist mit einem externen Wahlschalter ausgestattet, der es ermöglicht, die

Stromversorgung des Hubs auf einfachste Weise Ihren Bedürfnissen anzupassen. Dies ist

während des Betriebs möglich ohne, dass das Gehäuse geöffnet werden muss. Über die

optional erhältliche externe Stromversorgung per DCBuchse oder Terminal Block, können pro -

USBPort bis zu 2,4A zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht Ihnen ein problemloses -

aufladen von iPhone, iPad, Smartphone und Tablet.
