STEP 1: GENERAL INFORMATION. Sample picture of nVidia GeForce GTX 780 GTX Ti graphics card.

STEP 2: PREPARING YOUR GRAPHICS CARD

EK-FC Titan SE Backplate is very easy to install. First install EK-FC780 GTX Ti, EK-FC Titan SE or EK-FC770 GTX series water block according to its

installation manual. If you have it already installed the water block please check the picture below to see which mounting screws are to be left in

their position and which are to be removed. Please remove the six (6) M3x4 DIN7985 screws and their washers (marked with arrow).

STEP 3: APPLYING THE THERMAL PADS (GEFORCE GTX TITAN ONLY)

EK-FC Titan SE Backplate features passive cooling of the printed circuit board and it’s components therefore it is mandatory to install the enclosed

thermal pad. Please place enclosed 0.5mm thick thermal pad (Thermal Pad D – 0.5mm (RAM 8X)) directly on the marked memory (RAM) IC on the

back of the card’s printed circuit board as shown on the picture below. You will need twelve (12) pieces for 12 RAM IC, which is one and a half of

the enclosed thermal pad.
