SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

uctuation or the modication or adjustment of any part of the appliance. To protect against a risk of re or
electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:
• Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
• Observe the following precautions when connecting to the AC outlet using an adapter:
• Use only the OBL-1202000E adapter supplied with the product.
• Disconnect the device from the mains during a storm, before maintenance, during prolonged disuse,
or when malfunctioning or damaged (e.g. by fall).
• To protect against re and electrocution, do not overload mains sockets and do not use extension
cords or sockets integrated in other equipment
• Do not try to repair the device yourself.
• All servicing should be done by a qualied service technician.
• In particular, unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualied service personnel
under the following conditions:
• Liquid or foreign objects have entered the product or it has been exposed to rain or other liquids.
• If the product does not operate normally according to these instructions. Use the control elements
described in this manual only; the improper conguration of other control elements can lead to
damage and often requires extensive service from a qualied technician to renew normal operation.
• ATTENTION: DO NOT REMOVE COVER OF THE DEVICE, RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. THE PRODUCT
DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY PARTS REPAIRABLE BY THE USER, CONTACT AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE.
• Batteries for remote control (not included):
• Do not expose batteries to excessive temperatures, e.g. direct sunlight, re etc. Risk of explosion and
injury.
• Replace batteries only with the same type (2× AAA 1.5 V battery) and observe the correct polarity.
Otherwise there is a risk the system may explode.
• Check them regularly for leaks. There is a risk of skin burns and damage to the device.
• The device is designed for normal indoor environments.
• Do not use the device near water and in wet locations such as near a pool, bathtub, kitchen sink, in a damp
cellar, laundry room and so on. The device must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water, do not
place containers lled with liquids on the device.
• Do not expose the device to heat sources such as radiators, heating or other heat-producing appliances
such as ampliers. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or open ame.
• Do not cover the ventilation or other openings or insert any objects into them. There is a risk of injury or
damage to the device.
• Keep a minimum distance of 10 cm from other objects for proper ventilation.
• When the product is moved from a cold to a warm environment, water condenses inside, which may cause
the product to malfunction and be damaged. Therefore, in such a situation, leave the product in warm
environment without using it for about an hour to allow the moisture to evaporate.
• Changes or modications not expressly approved by the responsible authority can lead to loss of
authorization to use the device.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• WARNING: To prevent possible hearing damage, avoid prolonged listening at high volume. Excessive
sound pressure from earphones can cause hearing damage.
• DANGER for children: Children may not play with the packaging material. Do not let children play with
the plastic bags. Risk of suocation.
• Do not immerse in water! – Do not immerse in water!
