1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4WD Shift Knob

Loosen set screw on bottom side of DV8 Offroad shift knob until it comes off the shaft. Notice small

Remove cup holder

Remove shift handle and set aside.

Use flat head screwdriver to pop off shift bezel

Remove light from shaft bezel and set aside
6
Remove screws from center console and set aside (1 under cup holder, 1 next to shifter)
7
Use needle nose pliers to remove spring and clip securing stock shifter to selector bar
8
transfer spring to DV8 Offroad shifter and re-assemble opposite of removal
9
Install shift knob onto DV8 Offroad shifter shaft after center console is re-installed

Unthread shift knob

Pop off shift boot and set aside

Remove screws from center console and set aside (1 under cup holder, 1 next to shifter)

Use needle nose pliers to remove spring and clip securing stock shifter to selector bar
7
transfer spring to DV8 Offroad shifter and re-assemble opposite of removal

Install shift knob onto DV8 Offroad shifter shaft after center console is re-installed
