check the aftermarket radioโ€™s manual to see if the SWC buttons need to be programmed.
3.5MM SWC CABLE
Plug in the 3.5MM to 4-Pin SWC cable to the SWC module.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Carefully remove the gear shi๎Œer
trim ring.
2. Use a plas๎žŸc pry bar and carefully li๎Œ
and remove the gear shi๎Œer trim bezel.
3. Unplug the cigare๎žฉe lighter
connec๎žŸon.

For a๎Œermarket radios that have wires for SWC connec๎žŸons, cut o๎œซ the 3.5mm plug on the Crux SWC Cable (op๎žŸon B) and
connect the SWC wires as follows:
Note that there are some radios that only have
SWC1 and SWC2, in this case โ€œshieldโ€ does not
need to be connected.

4. Remove the screws holding the le๎Œ
and right side trims.
5. Remove the le๎Œ and right side trims. 6. Remove the screws holding the
radio.
7. Unplug the hazard light connector. 8. Unplug the connectors behind the
radio.
9. Note that the SWC connec๎žŸon is
made on the 8-pin connector.
8. Use the necessary dash kit (not included) to complete the installa๎žŸon. Connect
the a๎Œermarket radio wires to the SWRSU-38A T-harness.
9. Plug in the SWRSU-38A 8-pin SWC connector to the factory mate.
10. Con๎œฎrm the DIP Switch se๎žซngs and test the steering wheel controls for
func๎žŸonality.
11. Test the radio for other func๎žŸonality before installing the new radio into the
dash. Reverse the radio removal process.
