INSTALLATION
1. Open yo r garage door and park yo ehicle o tside of garage.u ur v u
2. Determine the mo nting location on the ceiling and fasten theu
parking assist sing scre and anchor (Fig re 1).u w u
3. For installation on a Chamberlain garage door opener:
Locate the quick connect terminals on yo r motor head.u
Temporarily remo e the ires for the safety re ersing sensorsv w v
(see yo r o ner’s man al for the location of the q ick connectu w u u
terminals.). The power adapter ill not be needed, discard it.w
For all other installations (power adapter required):
Locate the nearest 120 Vac po er o tlet to the parking assist(s).w u
Ro te u wires from parking assist(s) to outlet. The power adapter
is intended to be correctly oriented in a ertical or floor v
mount position.
4. Stripping the wires prior to installation:
Installing one parking assist: Separate hite/blackwhite and w
wires and strip 7/16" (11 mm) of ins lation from parking assistu
wires.
Installing two parking assists: Cut 6" (15 cm) of wires from the
end of one set of parking assist ires for se as connectionw u
w w wires. Separate hite and hite/black wires and strip 7/16"
(11 mm) of ins lation from both ends of connection u wire.
5. Connect the wires:
Installing one parking assist (Chamberlain installation): Twist
like colored ires for parking assist and safety re ersing sensorsw v
together. Insert t ires into q ick-connect holes: hite towisted w u w
w w uhite and hite/black to grey* (Fig re 2A).
Installing one parking assist (all other installations): Connect
w w w uires from parking assist to po er adapter as sho n (Fig re 2B).
Plug power adapter into 120 Vac outlet.
Installing two parking assists (Chamberlain installation):
Separate hite/black white and w wires and strip 7/16" (11 mm) of
insulation from the end of parking assist wires. Twist like colored
w vires for parking assists, safety re ersing sensors and
connection wire together. Sec ire n t. Insert connectionure ith w w u
w u w w wires into q ick-connect holes: hite to hite and hite/black to
grey* (Fig re 3A).u
Installing two parking assists (all other installations): Twist
like colored wires from parking assists and connection wires
together. Sec ire n t and attach connection ires toure ith w w u w
power adapter as shown (Figure 3B). Plug power adapter into
120 Vac outlet.
* Please refer to your garage door opener owner’s manual for
proper wire installation.

SET UP AND ADJUSTMENT
1. Dri r ve you vehicle into garage and park in the desired location.
2. Activate the parking assist by obstructing the path of the safety
reversing sensors. The laser will emit a pulsing bright red beam
(Figure 4). Aim the red beam to a location on the dash or hood
that can easily be seen while seated in the dri er’s seat.v
NOTE: The laser will automatically deactivate after approximately
one minute for Chamberlain garage door openers. If the laser shuts
off after one minute, and you are not finished adjusting the beam,
simply obstruct the path of the safety reversing sensors and the
beam will turn back on. For all other installations utilizing the
120 Vac power adapter, the parking assist beam will continuously
pulse.
3. Sit in the dri er’s seat and confirm that yo can easily see thev u
location of the red beam. This location is no yo r point ofw u
reference for parking your ehicle. vCAUTION: Do not stare
directly into the beam. Repeat steps for installation on optional
2nd laser accessory kit.
OPERATION
1. Open the garage door by acti ating the garage door opener andv
dri r ve you vehicle into parking space.
2. The red beam can be seen mo ing across the hood of yov ur
v u v u uehicle as yo dri e f rther into the garage (Fig re 4).
3. Stop the hen the beam is positioned at the location yovehicle w u
confirmed in step 3 during SET UP AND ADJUSTMENT.
NOTE: The laser will automatically deactivate after approximately 1
minute for Chamberlain garage door openers. For all other
installations utilizing the 120 Vac power adapter, the parking assist
beam will be continuously pulsed on.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the laser does not emit a beam:
• For installations with a Chamberlain garage door opener, verify
that the safety re ersing sensors are aligned and nothing isv
obstructing them.
• Verify nothing is blocking the parking assist lens.
• Verify that connections are not reversed.
• Verify that all connections are secure.
• Confirm that the parking assist is aimed to ard the garage floor.w
• Obstruct the path of the safety re ersing sensors and look for thev
red spot on the garage floor.

INSTALACIÓN
1. Abra la p erta del garaje y estacione el lo f era del garaje.u vehícu u
2. Determine la bicación de montaje en el techo y fije el asistente deu
estacionamiento tilizando u un tornillo y un taquete (Figura 1).
3. Para la instalación en un control de apertura de puertas de
garaje Chamberlain: Localice las terminales de conexión rápida en
el cabezal del motor. Retire temporalmente los cables de los
sensores de re ersa de seg ridad (cons lte el man al del propietariov u u u
para ver la ubicación de las terminales de conexión rápida). El
adaptador de energía no será necesario; no lo tome en cuenta.
Para el resto de instalaciones (se requiere adaptador de energía):
Localice la toma de potencia de 120 CA más cercana al (a los)V
asistente(s) de estacionamiento.
4. Pelado de los cables antes de la instalación:
Instalación de un asistente de estacionamiento: Separe los
cables blanco/negro y blanco y pele 11 mm (7/16 de pulg.) de
revestimiento de los cables del asistente de estacionamiento.
Instalación de dos asistentes de estacionamiento: Corte 15 cm
(6 p lgs.) de cable del extremo de n ju u uego de cables de asistente
de estacionamiento para tilizarlos como cables de conexión. Separeu
los cables blanco/negro y blanco y pele 11 mm (7/16 de pulg.) de
revestimiento de ambos extremos del cable de conexión.
5. Conexión de los cables:
Instalación de un asistente de estacionamiento (instalación de
Chamberlain): Cruce los cables del mismo color del asistente de
estacionamiento y de los sensores de re ersa de seg ridad. Insertev u
los cables trenzados en los orificios de conexión rápida: el blanco al
blanco y el blanco/negro al gris* (Fig ra 2A). u
Instalación de un asistente de estacionamiento (todas las demás
instalaciones): Conecte los cables del asistente de estacionamiento
al adaptador de energía como se m estra (Fig ra 2B). Enchu u ufe el
adaptador de energía a la toma de 120 VCA.
Instalación de dos asistentes de estacionamiento (instalación
de Chamberlain): Separe los cables blanco/negro y blanco y pele
11 mm (7/16 de pulg.) de re estimiento del extremo de los cables delv
asistente de estacionamiento. Cr ce los cables del mismo color deu
los asistentes de estacionamiento, de los sensores de re ersa dev
seguridad y del cable de conexión. Fije con un empalme para cables.
Inserte los cables de conexión en los orificios de conexión rápida:
el blanco al blanco y el blanco/negro al gris* (Fig ra 3A).u
Instalación de dos asistentes de estacionamiento (todas las
demás instalaciones): Cruce los cables del mismo color de los
asistentes de estacionamiento y de los cables de conexión. Sujete
con un empalme para cables y fije los cables de conexión al
adaptador de energía como se m estra (Fig ra 3B). Ench fe elu u u
