minimum of 4" from any object above it to allow easy access to the scrubber. Mark the
screw locations using the bracket as a template. (Fig. D, 1)
WARNING: Wear eye protection to prevent injury when working with power and
hand tools.
3. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided anchors and screws
(Fig. C, 5&6) if the wall is constructed of sheetrock or similar material. Use other
fasteners as appropriate if the wall is constructed of a different material. (Fig. D, 2)
4. Slide the charging base onto the mounting bracket evenly and carefully until it comes in
contact with the wall. (Fig. D, 3)
5. Secure the charging base to the mounting bracket by screwing the 3 - mounting screws
(Fig. C,1) into the mounting bracket through the top of the charging base.(Fig. D, 4)
6. Install the (3) mounting screw pushing onto the screws and into the covers (Fig. C, 7) by
slots in the top of the charging base. (Fig. D, 5)
7. Plug the charger into an appropriate electrical outlet being sure the electrical cord can
not be damaged by a heat source or physical abuses such as pinching and rubbing.
Slots are provided in the sides of the charging base to assist in routing of the cord to the
outlet. (Fig. D, 6)
Under Cabinet Mount:
1. First, determine if your cabinet has a flush (flat) bottom or an over(Fig. E)
hang (lip extending down) bottom . Even if you have No Overhang, you (Fig. F)
will need to use one (1) 12 Cabinet Spacer.
2. If your cabinet has an overhang, measure the overhang with a ruler to determine how
many Cabinet Spacers you will need. For example if the measurement is 1” (2.54 cm),
then use three (3) 1⁄2” (1.27 cm) Cabinet Spacers. Use the following guide:
If Overhang 1⁄2” (1.27 cm) 1⁄4” (.64 cm)
Measures Cabinet Spacers Cabinet Spacer
No Overhang 1 None
1⁄2” then use 2 None
3⁄4” then use 2 1
1” then use 3 None
2” then use 4 None
3. With the doors of the cabinet open, use the enclosed template (Fig. C, 8) as a guide to
mark the holes on the underside of the cabinet. If your cabinet has an overhang, slide the
template forward until it touches the inside surface of the over hang. If your cabinet has a
flush bottom, place the template approximately 1⁄4”-1⁄2” (.64 cm-1.27 cm) back from the
front edge of the cabinet.
NOTE: Be sure the Palm Grip Power Scrubber is not set too far back. Hold the unit up
to the underside of the cabinet and confirm that the unit can be easily removed from
the base. Mark the holes through the template onto the underside of the cabinet with
a pencil.
4. Empty the contents from the bottom shelf. Be sure the underside of the cabinet is free of
grease or dirt. Cover the counter top to catch wood chips from drilling.
WARNING: Wear eye protection to prevent injury when working with power and hand
tools.
5. Drill 1/4” (0.64 cm) holes up through the bottom of the cabinet at the hole marks, being
sure to hold the drill vertical.
6. Drop the mounting screws (Fig. C, 1) through the drilled holes from inside the cabinet.
7. You will need (1) 1⁄2” (1.27cm) Cabinet Spacer even if you have a “flush” bottom
cabinet. For cabinets with an overhang, push the proper number of spacers
(see chart) onto the screws coming through the cabinet bottom. You might not use all
the spacers. With the mounting bracket installed in the base, line up the holes with the
exposed screws beneath the cabinet spacers and tighten into the charging base. (Fig. G, 1)
8. Plug the charger into an appropriate electrical outlet being sure the electrical cord can
not be damaged by a heat source or physical abuses such as pinching and rubbing.
Slots are provided in the sides of the charging base to assist in routing of the cord to the
outlet. (Fig. G, 2)
Operation
NOTE: Some accessories may not be included in your model. Refer to product
packaging for contents. Additional accessories are available at local retailers or by
calling, toll-free 1-800-544-6986.

1. Tough scour pad (green) for aggressive scrubbing on pots, pans, sinks and other
kitchen surfaces.
2. Scratch free scour pad (white) for non-stick surfaces.
3. Bristle brush for aggressive scrubbing on pots, pans, sinks and other kitchen (blue)
surfaces.
4. Glass brush for cleaning tall narrow glasses, coffee carafes without vacuum insulated
glass liners, blender jars, etc.
Attaching Accessories
Note: Do not attach/remove accessory when unit is running.
1. To connect an attachment, line up the shape of the end of the accessory with the shaft
and push it on, until it snaps in place.
2. To remove an attachment, simply pull it off.
Operation
How to Operate Switch
1. To operate, push the Switch (Fig. A, 3) in to turn on. Press the Switch in again to
turn off. To avoid splatter from a Brush or Pad, turn the scrubber off while the
attachment is still in contact with the surface.
2. Because this scrubber is powerful, you don’t have to apply excessive pressure while
operating. Use a circular motion on large areas.
Tips on Cleaning Agents
IMPORTANT: The palm grip power scrubber has been designed for easy, powerful
cleaning. If you are uncertain about its use on a surface, test an attachment on a
small inconspicuous area before cleaning larger areas.
Always follow manufacturer’s recommendations when using a chemical cleaner such as
sprays, foams, rub-on gels, liquid detergents, or bleach solutions.
Cleaners with abrasives can damage some surfaces. Use a cleaner that is appropriate for
the surface being cleaned. Test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area if uncertain.
• Always wear rubber gloves and protective eye wear (to avoid splatter) when using irritating
cleaners.
Cleaning and Storage
1. Clean the Brushes and Scrub Pads in a mild detergent, rinse with water and air dry.
You may rinse any attachments/accessories by dipping the scrubber into a bucket of
water no more than 12 inches (30 cm) deep or running under a faucet. Do not leave
immersed for more than 5 minutes.
2. To clean the scrubber unit, wipe with a damp sponge and a mild soap.
3. The drip cup in the charging base can be removed and cleaned with a damp cloth and
a mild soap. (Fig. I)
4. Store the scrubber and attachments/accessories indoors.

The RBRC™ Seal
The RBRC™ (Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation) Seal on the
nickel-cadmium battery (or battery pack) indicates that the costs to recycle the
battery (or battery pack) at the end of its useful life have already been paid by
Black & Decker. In some areas, it is illegal to place spent nickel-cadmium batteries in the
trash or municipal solid waste stream and the RBRC program provides an environmentally
conscious alternative.
RBRC in cooperation with Black & Decker and other battery users, has established
programs in the United States and Canada to facilitate the collection of spent
nickel-cadmium batteries. Help protect our environment and conserve natural resources by
returning the spent nickel-cadmium battery to an authorized Black & Decker service center
or to your local retailer for recycling. You may also contact your local recycling center for
information on where to drop off the spent battery, or call 1-800-8-BATTERY.

électrique pour voir s’il fonctionne;
vérifier si la prise est reliée à un interrupteur mural qui contrôle le courant;
