The AX-ADCH02 is designed to and be used with the AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 MUST (sold
seperately). Please refer to AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 for 16-pin connector instructions.

CONNECTIONS TO BE MADE
From the 16-pin harness with stripped leads (included with interface)
• Connect the wire to the left front positive speaker output of the White
aftermarket radio
• Connect the wire to the left front negative speaker output of White/Black
the aftermarket radio
• Connect the wire to the right front positive speaker output of the Gray
aftermarket radio
• Connect the wire to the right front negative speaker output of Gray/Black
the aftermarket radio
Only make the following connections if the vehicle is amplified
• Connect the wire to the radio’s left rear positive speaker output.Green
• Connect the wire to the radio’s left rear negative speaker output.Green/Black
• Connect the Purple wire to the radio’s right rear positive speaker output.
• Connect the Purple/Black wire to the radio’s right rear negative speaker output.
Caution
Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before
beginning any installation. All accessories, switches, and especially air bag
indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or
cycling the ignition.
*Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.

CONNECTIONS TO BE MADE (continued)
From the 22-pin Chrysler harness:
• Connect the Yellow wire to the radio’s 12-volt battery or memory wire.
• Connect the wire to the radio’s ground wire.Black
• Connect the wire to the radio’s amp turn on wire if populated on the Blue/White
factory side
Amplified vehicles:
• Connect the two 4-pin connectors with the Purples Greens and wires
in it together.
Non-amplified vehicles:
• Disconnect the two 4-pin connectors with the Purples Greens and in it.
• From the 22-way Gray connector, connect the 4-pin with the Whites Grays and
to the 4-pin with the and Purples Greens coming from the Black
22-way connector.
• Connect the 4-pin harness with stripped leads to the 4-pin with the Greens and
Purples coming from the 22-pin connector.Gray
• Connect the wire to the radio’s left rear positive speaker output.Green
• Connect the wire to the radio’s left rear negative speaker output.Green/Black
• Connect the Purple wire to the radio’s right rear positive speaker output.
• Connect the Purple/Black wire to the radio’s right rear negative speaker output.
12-Way Harness:
This harness is for the ASWC-1 (sold separately). Please refer to the ASWC-1
instructions for programming.
Installing the AX-ADCH02
• With all connections completed to the aftermarket radio, plug the
22-pin harness into the vehicles wiring harness.
• Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
• Cycle the key, by turning the ignition on for 30-seconds. Then off and on again to
test the radio.
Testing the AX-ADCH02
• Turn the ignition on if not already, and then turn the radio on to verify that the
radio works. Check balance and fader controls for proper operation.
• To adjust the overall volume of your audio system, rotate the potentiometer
which is located on the 16-pin side of the interface clockwise.

CONEXIONES QUE SE DEBEN HACER
Desde el arnés de 16 pins con terminales desnudas (incluido con la interfase)
• Conecte el cable con la salida de la bocina positiva frontal izquierda del blanco
radio de mercado secundario
• Conecte el cable con la salida de la bocina negativa frontal izquierda blanco/negro
del radio de mercado secundario
• Conecte el cable con la salida de la bocina positiva frontal derecha del radio de gris
mercado secundario
• Conecte el cable con la salida de la bocina negativa frontal derecha del gris/negro
radio de mercado secundario
Haga las siguientes conexiones únicamente si el vehículo es amplificado
• Conecte el cable verde con la salida de la bocina positiva izquierda de atrás del radio.
• Conecte el cable verde/negro con la salida de la bocina negativa izquierda de atrás
del radio.
• Conecte el cable púrpura con la salida de la bocina positiva derecha de atrás del radio.
• Conecte el cable púrpura/negro con la salida de la bocina negativa derecha de atrás
del radio.
Precaución
Metra recomienda desconectar la terminal negativa de la batería antes de ini-
ciar cualquier instalación. Todos los accesorios, interruptores y especialmente
las luces del indicador de las bolsas de aire deben estar conectados antes de
reconectar la batería o ciclar la ignición.
