Maintenance
Disconnect from the electrical supply before any cleaning or
maintenance.
DO not use chemical solvents to clean the surface of the unit. Use
a clean damp cloth.
Check the ïŹlter every week. (ïŹg. 4).
Remove the air ïŹlter, the element may be vacuumed clean or
washed in a neutral warm water and detergent mix (40°C).
Rinse and dry the ïŹlter before replacing.
Do not dry in direct sunlight.
Laying Up
1.) Clean ïŹlter
2.) Clean surfaces
3.) Drain water from the unit
Please note water will drain from the low level water drain (Fig 5) when
the stopper is removed. Run in fan mode until the pipe is dry.
DO NOT DO THIS ON ANY INDOOR FLOOR SURFACES!
4.) When the unit is clean and drained, store in a clean, dry area. Stow cable.
The unit may be covered.
Getting started and operation
Never operate the unit in very hot or cold conditions - it works properly at
temperatures between 17 and 30Âș C.
Always allow the unit to stand/settle for 15 minutes before switching on when
either setting up or restarting.
Put the mobile air conditioner in a ïŹ‚at location where the air outlets cannot be
covered up. Place the unit no less than 50cm away from a wall or other obstacle
Fit the square end of the exhaust duct to the exhaust terminal of the unit. Fig 1.
Put the other end (discharge) to the nearest window. The length of the air
exhaust between 600mm - 1800mm. Use the min length when working.
When mounting, try to keep the air exhaust horizontal , sloping up or down.
Never operate if the hose is kinked or sagging (ïŹg. 2 & 3).
If mounting through wall, the height of the hole should be 40cm - 130cm.
General Safety
Keep children and animals away from air conditioning units.
Never leave them alone in a room where the units in use.
This equipment should only be used by a competent person who
has read and understood these instructions.
Never operate this equipment if you are ill, feeling tired or under the
inïŹ‚uence of alcohol or drugs.
Keep the Air Conditioning vents clear of all obstructions.
Never put anything on top of the unit or block the air outlets.
Make sure equipment is switched off and unplugged after use
Never leave switched on or unattended.
Do not use the unit where sunlight is shining directly onto it.
Check condition of equipment before use. If unit is showing signs of
damage contact your supplier immediately.
Electrical Safety
This unit requires a 230 volt electrical supply. It plugs into a standard BS1363
domestic socket.
Always inspect plugs and leads for damage before plugging into the supply -
DO NOT USE IF ANY DAMAGE IS FOUND
Ensure cables are run as not to cause a hazard.
If an extension lead is used, ensure it is of the correct standard , and fully
uncoiled when being used.
Do not lay electrical cables in wet / damp areas.
Do not move equipment whilst operating.
Do not pull equipment by its cable.
It is recommended that electrical equipment is used via a suitable RCD.

Dehumidifying and Cooling Operations
1. The operating range for dehumidifying is 10°C-30ÂșC (50°F-86°F) and the
operating range for cooling operating is 17°C-30°C (63°F-86°F).
2. If the cooling or dehumidifying operations have been switched off and need
switching on again in a short time, allow approximately three minutes for the
cooling or dehumidifying operations to resume.
3. Make sure the water pump drain hose is correctly connected to the unit.
Cooling Operation
1. Operating temperature range: 17ÂșC-30°C (63°F-86°F)
2. Press the button several times until the indicator light comes on.
3. Press the buttons to select your desired room temperature.
4. Press the button to choose the fan speed.
Dehumidifying Operation
1. Operating temperature range: 13°C-32°C (55°F-90°F)
2. Press the button several times until the indicator light comes on.
3. The fan will run at a ïŹxed speed at this setting.
4. Keep windows and doors dosed for the best dehumidifying effect.
5. Do not put the duct to window.
Fan Operation
1. Press the button several times until the indicator light comes on.
2. Press the button to choose the fan speed.
3. Do not put’the duct to window.
Timer Operation
1. Press the button when the air conditioner is off. Select the time you
need the unit to start to operate.
2. The Operation paned window will display “On”.
3. The starting time is adjustable from 00.00 to 24.
Setting the off timer:
1. Press the button when the air conditioner is on. Select the time you
need the unit to turn off. The Operation Panel Window will display “Off”.
2. The turning off time is adjustable from 0.00 to 24
Water Pump Drainage
Connect the water pump drain hose to the unit before operate. When the water
level of the internal water tank reaches a predetermined level, the water pump will
be activated and drain the condensed water outside through the connected drain
hose. (Under this condition, attach the rubber bung to the back hole to prevent
continuous drainage.) Fig. 4
Continuous Drainage
When you plan to leave this unit unused for a long time, remove the rubber bung
from the back hole and attach a section of the continuous drain hose connector.
All the water In the water tank will drain outside through the drain hose. (Under
this condition, the water pump is not activated). Fig. 5.
