One-Way Stealth Flexhorn

INTRODUCTION

The Valcom V-9830 Stealth Flexhorn is a one-way

self-amplified paging horn designed to provide

voice paging as well as background music. The

stylish enclosure provides an unobtrusive,

contemporary appearance.A volume control is

accessible on the front of the horn.

INSTALLATION

(Refer to Figure 1)

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove 4

screws attaching grille to enclosure base.

Remove horn mounting bracket and horn

from enclosure base.

Mount enclosure base to wall using

appropriate hardware.

Reattach horn and bracket to enclosure

base.

Make signal and power connections to

Flexhorn (see Connections diagram).

Test Flexhorn volume levels making

adjustments before installing grille.

Install grille onto enclosure base.

Power and Signal Connections

NOTE: Do not connect this speaker directly

to a 25/70/100 Volt amplifier as damage to

both the amplifier and speaker may occur.

A V-1095 can be used to provide an interface

between a centrally amplified speaker line

and Valcom self-amplified horns.
