managementrequirementsofthelatestprocessors

andplatformsinvariousautomotivepower

applications.Thedevicecontainsfourstep-downDC-

DCconvertercores,whichareconfiguredas4single

phaseoutputs.ThedeviceiscontrolledbyanI

compatibleserialinterfaceandbyenablesignals.

TheautomaticPFM/PWM(AUTOmode)operation

maximizesefficiencyoverawideoutput-current

range.TheLP87524B/J/P-Q1supportsremote

voltagesensingtocompensateIRdropbetweenthe

regulatoroutputandthepoint-of-load(POL)thus

improvingtheaccuracyoftheoutputvoltage.In

additiontheswitchingclockcanbeforcedtoPWM

modeandalsosynchronizedtoanexternalclockto

minimizethedisturbances.

TheLP87524B/J/P-Q1devicesupportsload-current

measurementwithouttheadditionofexternalcurrent-

senseresistors.Inaddition,theLP87524B/J/P-Q1

supportsprogrammablestart-upandshutdown

delaysandsequencessynchronizedtoenable

signals.ThesequencescanalsoincludeGPIO

signalstocontrolexternalregulators,loadswitches

andprocessorreset.Duringstart-upandvoltage

change,thedevicecontrolstheoutputslewrateto

minimizeoutputvoltageovershootandthein-rush
