TheADS7886isa12-bit,1-MSPSanalog-to-digital

converter(ADC).Thedeviceincludesacapacitor

basedSARA/Dconverterwithinherentsampleand

hold.Theserialinterfaceineachdeviceiscontrolled

bytheCSandSCLKsignalsforgluelessconnections

withmicroprocessorsandDSPs.Theinputsignalis

sampledwiththefallingedgeofCS,andSCLKis

usedforconversionandserialdataoutput.

Thedeviceoperatesfromawidesupplyrangefrom

2.35Vto5.25V.Thelowpowerconsumptionofthe

devicemakesitsuitableforbattery-powered

applications.Thedevicealsoincludesapowerdown

featureforpowersavingatlowerconversionspeeds.
