TheADS7042isa12-bit,1-MSPS,analog-to-digital

converter(ADC).Thedevicesupportsawideanalog

inputvoltagerange(1.65Vto3.6V)andincludesa

capacitor-based,successive-approximationregister

(SAR)ADCwithaninherentsample-and-holdcircuit.

TheSPI-compatibleserialinterfaceiscontrolledby

theCSandSCLKsignals.Theinputsignalis

sampledwiththeCSfallingedgeandSCLKisused

forconversionandserialdataoutput.Thedevice

supportsawidedigitalsupplyrange(1.65Vto3.6V),

enablingdirectinterfacetoavarietyofhost

controllers.TheADS7042complieswiththeJESD8-

7AstandardforanormalDVDDrange(1.65Vto

1.95V).

TheADS7042isavailablein8-pin,miniature,leaded,
