DESCRIPTION/ORDERINGINFORMATION

TheADS5463isa12-bit,500-MSPSanalog-to-digitalconverter(ADC)thatoperatesfrombotha5-Vsupplyand

3.3-Vsupply,whileprovidingLVDS-compatibledigitaloutputs.TheADS5463inputbufferisolatestheinternal

switchingoftheonboardtrackandhold(T&H)fromdisturbingthesignalsourcewhileprovidingahigh

impedanceinput.Aninternalreferencegeneratoralsoisprovidedtosimplifythesystemdesign.

Designedtooptimizeconversionofwide-bandwidthsignalsupto500-MHzofinputfrequencyat500MSPS,the

ADS5463hasoutstandinglownoiseandlinearityoveralargeinputfrequencyrange.Inputsignalsabove500

MHzalsocanbeconvertedduetothelargeinputbandwidthofthedevice.

TheADS5463isavailableinan80-pinTQFPPowerPAD™package.TheADS5463isbuiltonstate-of-the-art

TexasInstrumentscomplementarybipolarprocess(BiCom3X)andisspecifiedoverthefullextended

temperaturerange(–55°Cto125°C).
