TheADCS7476,ADCS7477,andADCS7478devices

arelowpower,monolithicCMOS12-,10-,and8-bit

analog-to-digitalconvertersthatoperateat1MSPS.

TheADCS747xdevicesareadrop-inreplacementfor

AnalogDevice'sAD747x.Eachdeviceisbasedona

successiveapproximationregisterarchitecturewith

internaltrack-and-hold.Theserialinterfaceis

compatiblewithseveralstandards,suchasSPI,

QSPI,MICROWIRE,andmanycommonDSPserial

interfaces.

TheADCS747xusesthesupplyvoltageasa

reference,enablingthedevicetooperatewithafull-

scaleinputrangeof0toV

.Theconversionrateis

determinedfromtheserialclock(SCLK)speed.

Theseconvertersofferashutdownmode,whichcan

beusedtotradethroughputforpowerconsumption.

TheADCS747xisoperatedwithasinglesupplythat

canrangefrom2.7Vto5.25V.Normalpower

consumptionduringcontinuousconversion,usinga

3-Vor5-Vsupply,is2mWor10mWrespectively.

Thepower-downfeature,whichisenabledbyachip

select(CS)pin,reducesthepowerconsumptionto

under5µWusinga5-Vsupply.Allthreeconverters

areavailableina6-pinSOT-23package,which

providesanextremelysmallfootprintforapplications

wherespaceisacriticalconsideration.These

productsaredesignedforoperationoverthe

automotiveandextendedindustrialtemperature

rangeof−40°Cto125°C.
