INSTALLATION

BASE UNIT INSTALLATION SITE

It is important that the base station and cordless phone can receive

and transmit a good radio signal, so place the base station near:

- The socket for the telephone line. The socket (mains connection).

- The best location is in the center of the desired area. If you have

poor reception, try relocating the base station.

- Do not place it where it will be exposed to direct light and/or

moisture.

- The indoor range is 50 meters. Do not place the device near TVs,

computers or electrical devices as this may affect the range and

sound quality.

PLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION OF THE CORDLESS

TELEPHONE / BASE STATION

1. Plug one end of the AC/DC adapter into the connector on the

back of the station and the other end into the socket.(17)

2. Plug one end of the flat telephone cable into the port on the back

of the base station and the other end into the telephone(16)

jack.

3. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment on the back of

the cordless phone.

Open the battery compartment by gently pressing on the battery

compartment, pulling it down, and then lifting the cover. Insert

the batteries, making sure that the polarity is correct. (Note the

engraved characters on the inside of the compartment). Replace

the cover. In the case of the 7621 reference, proceed in the same

way with the additional cordless telephone.

4. Then place the cordless phone in the base station to charge

the batteries. The battery icon on the screen flashes, indicating

that the cordless phone is charging. Charge the batteries for 14

hours, which completes the installation. In the case of the 7621

reference, proceed in the same way with the additional cordless

phone in the base station to charge it.

5. The cordless phone is pre-programmed to connect to its base

and show SPC and the cordless telephone number on the

display. If it does not, disconnect the power cord from the base,

remove the batteries from the cordless phone, reconnect the

power cord to the base, and reinstall the batteries.

CALLER ID FEATURES

You can nd out who is calling you or who called you in your

absence. If caller ID is enabled on the line (you need to request the

service from your phone company, e.g. Movistar), the number of

the caller will appear on the screen. The device has 10 incoming

records.

CHECK INCOMING CALLS

If you have received a call and it has not been answered, the

symbol will be displayed on the screen until you check all incoming

calls.

To access the incoming calls list, follow the steps below:

- When the cordless phone is in idle mode, press the

/ key.

The screen will display the number of the call or the name if it is

stored in the address book.

- Press the key. The number is displayed on the screen.

- Press the key. The screen displays the day/month and hour/

minute.

- Press the key to return to the list of received calls.

- Press the / key repeatedly to scroll from the most recent to

the oldest calls.

- Press the key to return to the initial state.

NOTE: When the call list is full and a new call is received, the oldest call is deleted

from the list and the new call is stored in its place.

THREE-WAY CONFERENCE: 2 INTERNAL AND 1 EXTERNAL

If you have more than one cordless phone registered to the base

station, you can use this function to make a call between the

external call and two cordless phones.

To do this during an external call:

- Press the key. If you have only one other phone, it will ring

automatically. Otherwise, dial the number of the phone you want

to call.

- The other cordless phone starts ringing. Once the other cordless

phone answers, you can talk as if it were an internal call and the

external call will be put on hold.

- To start a three-way conference, press the button on the

cordless phone that initiated the call. is displayed CONFERENCE

on the screen. All three parties can now have a conversation.

PRECAUTIONS

- Please read the operating instructions before using the device.

Place the device on a stable surface.

- All parts of this device are intended for indoor use only. Do not

bring the phone into contact with water. Do not place the device

near a sink or shower, or in any other location where it may get

wet. This may cause damage. Never use the phone outdoors

during a thunderstorm. Disconnect the base station from the

telephone line and the power outlet. Damage may occur due

to power surges. If the base station falls into the water, do not

remove it when the adapter is connected to the power supply

and when the telephone cable is connected to the telephone line,

CHARGE INDICATOR

Permanent: The battery is fully charged.

Flashes when discharged 60%-30% and when charging

begins.

Battery is empty.

WARNING OUT OF RANGE

If during a call you notice that the call quality is deteriorating or

poor, it is because you are leaving the reception range. As soon as

the range is no longer given, the symbol flashes and SEARCH

appears on the display.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

TURNING THE CORDLESS PHONE ON AND OFF

To turn the cordless phone on or off, press and hold the key for

3 seconds.

DIALING WITH THE HANDSET ON-HOOK

Dial the number you want to call while the phone is in idle mode.

Use the key to delete digits if you make a mistake.

- Press the key to dial it. Press the key to end the call.

SELECT A NUMBER FROM THE LIST

When you are browsing the list and the name or number you want to

call appears on the screen, press the key.

DELETE ALL ENTRIES IN THE INCOMING CALLS LIST

- When the phone is in idle mode, press the

key to display

the last received number.

- Press the key. Press the / key until is DELETE ALL

selected, and then press .

ADDRESS BOOK

This device has 50 memory locations for storing phone numbers

with up to 24 digits and names with up to 12 letters.

NOTE: If at any time you wish to exit the setting process, press the key

until you return to the initial screen. To delete letters or numbers, press the

key. To set a space, press 1.

DIALING WITH THE HANDSET OFF-HOOK

- Press the key to pick up the line. Wait for the dial tone and dial

the number you want to call. Press the key to end the call.

Press twice for the handsfree function.

RECEIVE A CALL

When a call comes in, the cordless phone rings. (The cordless

phone does not ring when it is in idle mode).

- Press the key to accept the call. Press the key to end the

call.

ADJUST THE VOLUME

- If you are in a call and want to change the volume, press the

upper part of the

button to increase the volume or the

lower part of the / button to decrease the volume as many

times as you like until the desired volume is set. There are ve

levels available.

MUTE FUNCTION

- If you do not want to be heard by the other party, press the

key. MUTE is displayed on the screen.

- To return to normal mode, press the key again.

SEARCH FOR THE CORDLESS PHONE

To search or locate the cordless telephone, press the button (15)

on the bottom of the base. The cordless phone starts ringing and

LOCATE appears on the screen. When you have located the cordless

phone, press any key to stop the ringing.

ENTER NAME AND NUMBER

- While the phone is in standby mode, press the key to access the

ADDRESS BOOK and press .

- NEW ENTRY appears on the screen. Press . ENTER NAME

appears on the screen. Enter the name using the keypad and

press .

-ENTER NUMBER appears on the screen. Enter the number and

press .

- You can continue entering data into the address book or press

the key to return to the initial state.

SEARCH AND SELECT FROM THE ADDRESS BOOK

- When the phone is in standby mode, press the / key to

access the address book. The screen displays the rst contact

in alphabetical order.

- Press the / key to scroll through the address book or press

directly the key with the rst letter of the name.

- Press the key to make the call or press the key to return to

the initial state.

KEY LOCK

This function prevents accidental calls, but allows you to accept

incoming calls by pressing .

To activate and deactivate the function, press and hold the .

MUTE THE RINGTONE OF THE CORDLESS PHONE

You can easily turn off the ringtone of the cordless phone by

pressing and holding the key until appears on the screen.

Press and hold the same key to activate the ringtone. The icon

disappears.

SETTING THE RINGTONE OF THE CORDLESS PHONE

You can choose between 6 different ringtones, including . To do OFF

this, proceed as follows:

- Press the key. Press the / key until PERS. SETTINGS

is selected. Press .

- Press the / key until is selected. RINGTONE TELEPHONE

Press .

-RING VOLUME appears on the screen. Press . Press / to

select the ringtone volume and press .

- Press the key to return to the initial state.

NOTE: To change the melody, follow the same steps as above and select

RINGTONE with the / key instead of RING VOLUME.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS FOR REFERENCE 7621

INTERNAL CALLS

You can make free calls to each other with the cordless phones.

- When the phone is in standby mode, press the key. If youINT

have only one other cordless phone, it will ring automatically.

- If more than two cordless phones are registered, the number of

the cordless phones is displayed on the screen.

- Press the number of the cordless phone you want to talk to.

- The other cordless phone starts ringing. As soon as the other

party picks up the handset, you can start the call.

- To end the call, press the key.

FORWARD A CALL

You can transfer an external call from one cordless phone to

another. To do this, you must perform the following steps during the

external call itself:

- Press the button. If you have only one other cordless phone,

it will ring automatically. Otherwise, dial the number of the

cordless phone you want to call.

- The other cordless phone starts ringing. When the other cordless

phone picks up, you can speak as if it were an internal call.

- To transfer the external call to you, simply press the key on

the rst cordless phone.

INSTALLATION

EMPLACEMENT DE LA BASE

Il est essentiel que la base et le portable puissent recevoir et

émettre un bon signal radio, placez donc la base à proximité :

- La prise de la ligne téléphonique. La prise d’alimentation

(secteur).

- Le meilleur emplacement est au centre de la zone que vous

voulez couvrir. Si vous avez une mauvaise couverture, essayez

de déplacer la base.

- Ne le mettez pas dans un endroit où il sera en contact directe

avec les rayons du soleil et/ou l’humidité.

- Le périmètre couvert à l’intérieur est de 50 mètres. N’installez

pas l’appareil à proximité de téléviseurs, d’ordinateurs ou

d’appareils électriques, car cela pourrait réduire la couverture et

la qualité du son.

PORTABLE BASE

POSITIONNEMENT ET INSTALLATION DU PORTABLE/BASE

1. Insérez une extrémité de l’adaptateur CA/CC dans le connecteur

situé à l’arrière du berceau et l’autre extrémité dans la prise.(17)

2. Branchez une extrémité du cordon de ligne plat dans le

connecteur situé à l’arrière de la base et l’autre extrémité(16)

dans la prise de la ligne téléphonique.

3. Installez les batteries dans le compartiment prévu pour, situé à

l’arrière du portable.

Ouvrez le compartiment des batteries en appuyant légèrement

vers le bas, puis soulevez le couvercle. Insérez les batteries

en veillant à respecter la polarité. (Notez les signes gravés sur

l’intérieur du compartiment). Remettez le couvercle en place.

Dans le cas de la référence 7621, procédez de la même manière

avec le cahier supplémentaire.

4. Placez ensuite le portable sur la base pour charger les batteries.

L’icône de la batterie sur l’écran clignote pour indiquer que le

portable est en cours de chargement. Chargez les batteries

pendant 14h, ceci termine l’installation. Dans le cas de la

référence 7621, procédez de la même manière avec le portable

auxiliaire sur la base pour le charger.

5. Le portable est préprogrammé pour se relier à sa base, en

afchant sur l’écran la CPS et le numéro du portable. Si cela

ne se produit pas, débranchez le cordon d’alimentation de

la base, retirez la batterie du portable, rebranchez le cordon

d’alimentation sur la base et remettez la batterie en place.

FONCTIONS D’IDENTIFICATION DE L’APPELANT

Vous pouvez savoir qui vous appelle ou qui vous a appelé en votre

absence. Lorsque le service d’identication de l’appelant est mis en

œuvre sur la ligne (vous devez demander ce service à votre opérateur

téléphonique, par exemple Movistar), le numéro de l’appelant

apparaît sur l’écran. L’équipement dispose de 10 registres d’entrée.

PARCOURIR LES ENREGISTREMENTS DES APPELS ENTRANTS

Si vous avez reçu un appel et que vous n’avez pas répondu, l’écran afche

l’icône jusqu’à ce que vous passiez en revue tous les appels entrants.

Pour accéder à la liste des appels entrants, suivez les étapes ci-

dessous:

- Le portable étant en veille, appuyez sur la touche / .

L’écran afche le numéro de l’appel, ou le nom s’il est enregistré

dans le répertoire.

- Appuyez sur la touche . L’écran afche le numéro.

- Appuyez sur la touche . L’écran afche le jour/mois et l’heure/

les minutes.

- Appuyez sur la touche , pour revenir à la liste des appels reçus.

- Appuyez sur la touche / à plusieurs reprises pour faire

déler les appels les plus récents vers les plus anciens.

- Appuyez sur la touche pour revenir à l’état initial.

REMARQUE: Lorsque la liste d’appels est pleine et qu’un nouvel appel est

reçu, l’appel le plus ancien est supprimé de la liste et le nouvel appel est

enregistré à sa place.

CONFÉRENCE À TROIS VOIES: 2 INTERNES ET 1 EXTERNE

Si vous avez plus d’un portable enregistré à la base, vous pouvez

utiliser cette fonction pour avoir une conversation entre l’appel

externe et deux portables.

A cette n, pendant un appel externe:

- Appuyez sur la touche . Si vous n’avez qu’un seul autre

portable, il sonnera automatiquement, sinon composez le

numéro du portable que vous voulez appeler.

- L’autre portable commencera à sonner. Dès que l’autre portable

aura été décroché, vous pourrez parler comme s’il s’agissait

d’un appel interne et l’appel externe sera mis en attente.

- Pour effectuer la conférence à trois, appuyez sur la touche

du portable qui a initié la communication. L’écran afche

CONFÉRENCE. Les trois interlocuteurs pourront désormais tenir

une conversation.

PRÉCAUTIONS

- Veuillez lire le mode d’emploi avant d’utiliser l’appareil. Installez

cet appareil sur une surface stable.

- Toutes les pièces de cet équipement sont destinées à un usage

intérieur uniquement. Ne mettez pas le portable en contact avec

de l’eau. N’installez pas l’équipement à côté d’un évier, d’une

douche ou de tout autre endroit où il pourrait être mouillé. Des

dommages peuvent en résulter. N’utilisez jamais le portable à

l’extérieur pendant un orage. Débranchez la base de la ligne

téléphonique et de la prise électrique. Des dommages peuvent

être causés par des surtensions. Si la base tombe dans l’eau,

AVISO D’ABSENCE DE COUVERTURE

Si au cours d’une conversation vous remarquez que la qualité de la

communication se dégrade ou est mauvaise, c’est que vous quittez

la zone de couverture, vous devez vous rapprocher de la Base, sinon

la communication sera coupée. Une fois que la couverture a été

perdue, l’icône clignote et l’écran afche RECHERCHE.

FONCTIONS DE BASE

ALLUMER / ÉTEINDRE LE PORTABLE

Pour allumer ou éteindre le portable, appuyez sur la touche et

maintenez-la enfoncée pendant 3 secondes.

COMPOSER UN NUMERO ET RACCROCHER

Composez le numéro que vous souhaitez appeler lorsque le

portable est en veille. Utilisez la touche pour supprimer les

chiffres au cas où vous vous seriez trompé.

- Appuyez sur la touche pour composer le numéro. Appuyez sur

la touche pour mettre n à l’appel.

COMPOSER UN NUMÉRO DANS LA LISTE

Lorsque vous consultez la liste et que le nom ou le numéro que vous

souhaitez appeler apparaît à l’écran, appuyez sur la touche .

SUPPRIMER TOUS LES ENREGISTREMENTS DE LA LISTE DES

APPELS ENTRANTS

- Lorsque le portable est en veille, appuyez sur la touche

pour afcher le dernier numéro reçu.

- Appuyez sur la touche . Appuyez sur la touche /

jusqu’à ce que l’option soit sélectionnée et SUPPRIMER TOUT

appuyez sur .

- L’écran afche CONFIRM? Appuyez sur .

AGENDA

Cet équipement dispose de 50 emplacements mémoire permettant

de stocker des numéros de téléphone jusqu’à 24 chiffres et des

noms jusqu’à 12 lettres.

REMARQUE : Si, à tout moment, vous souhaitez quitter l’opération de

programmation, appuyez sur la touche jusqu’à ce que vous reveniez à

l’écran initial. Pour supprimer des lettres ou des chiffres, appuyez sur la

touche . Pour laisser un espace, appuyez sur 1.

ne le retirez pas si l’adaptateur est connecté à l’alimentation

électrique et également si le câble téléphonique est connecté à

la ligne téléphonique, coupez d’abord le courant de la maison et

soulevez la fenêtre de votre PTR.

- N’ouvrez pas le portable ou la base car cela pourrait endommager

le portable et annuler la garantie. Veuillez contacter le centre de

service agréé.

- Ne placez pas de matériaux conducteurs tels que des clés, des

trombones, des bracelets... à proximité des connecteurs de

charge de la batterie

- Assurez-vous que les batteries sont dans la bonne position.

La ligne téléphonique et la prise de courant doivent être

proches de l’appareil et facilement accessibles et doivent

toujours être connectées pour que le portable fonctionne.

REMARQUE : Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour passer des appels en cas

de panne de courant, vous devez disposer d’un appareil supplémentaire

qui fonctionne sans être connecté à l’alimentation électrique.

COMPOSER UN NUMERO EN DÉCROCHANT

- Appuyez sur la touche pour prendre la ligne. Attendez la

tonalité et composez le numéro que vous souhaitez appeler.

Appuyez sur la touche pour mettre n à l’appel. Appuyez deux

fois sur pour le mode mains libres.

RECEVOIR UN APPEL

Lorsqu’un appel est reçu, le portable sonne (Le portable ne sonnera

pas s’il est en mode silencieux).

- Appuyez sur la touche pour mettre n à l’appel. Appuyez sur la

touche pour mettre n à l’appel.

RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME DU COMBINÉ

- Lorsque vous êtes en conversation et que vous souhaitez modier

le volume, appuyez sur la partie supérieure de la touche / pour

augmenter le volume ou sur la partie inférieure de la touche /

pour le diminuer, autant de fois que vous le souhaitez jusqu’à ce que

le niveau souhaité soit sélectionné. Cinq niveaux sont disponibles.

FONCTION MUTE

- Si vous ne souhaitez pas être entendu par votre interlocuteur,

appuyez sur la touche . L’écran afche SILENCE.

- Pour revenir au mode normal, appuyez à nouveau sur la touche .

RECHERCHER LE PORTABLE

Pour rechercher ou localiser le portable, appuyez sur la touche

(15) située en bas de la base. Le portable commencera à émettre des

bips et l’écran afchera LOCALISATION. Une fois le portable localisé,

appuyez sur n’importe quelle touche pour arrêter le signal sonore.

ENTRER LE NOM ET LE NUMÉRO

- Le portable étant en veille, appuyez sur la touche pour

accéder à l’ et appuyez sur AGENDA .

- L’écran afche . L’écran afche NOUVEAU ENTR. Appuyez sur

ENTRER NOM. Entrez le nom à l’aide du clavier et appuyez sur .

- L’écran afche ENTRER NUM. Entrez le numéro et appuyez sur

- Vous pouvez continuer à saisir des données dans le répertoire,

ou appuyer sur la touche pour revenir à l’état initial.

RECHERCHE ET AJOUT DE SIGNETS DANS L’AGENDA

- Lorsque le portable est en veille, appuyez sur la touche /

pour accéder au répertoire. L’écran afche le premier contact par

ordre alphabétique.

Vous pouvez facilement désactiver la sonnerie du portable en

maintenant la touche . enfoncée jusqu’à ce que l’écran afche

. Appuyez et maintenez la même touche pour activer la sonnerie,

l’icône disparaît.

RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME DE LA SONNERIE DU PORTABLE

Vous pouvez choisir entre 6 niveaux de sonnerie différents, (OFF)

inclus. Pour ce faire, veuillez suivre les étapes ci-dessous :

- Appuyez sur la touche . Appuyez sur la touche /

jusqu’à ce que soit sélectionné. Appuyez sur PERS CONFIG .

- Appuyez sur la touche / jusqu’à ce que TONALITES TELEF

soit sélectionnée. Appuyez sur .

- L’écran afche VOL SONNERIE. Appuyez sur . Appuyez sur /

pour sélectionner le volume de la sonnerie et appuyez sur .

- Appuyez sur la touche pour revenir à l’état initial.

REMARQUE: Pour modier la mélodie, suivez les mêmes étapes ci-dessus

et sélectionnez TONALITES DE SONNERIE avec la touche au lieu de /

VOL SONNERIE.

APPELS INTERNES

Vous pouvez utiliser les portables pour vous parler gratuitement.

- Lorsque le portable est en veille, appuyez sur la touche . Si INT

vous n’en avez qu’un autre, il sonnera automatiquement.

- Si plus de deux portables sont enregistrés, le nombre de

portables s’afche à l’écran.

- Appuyez sur le numéro de téléphone avec lequel vous souhaitez

entrer en communication.

- L’autre portable commencera à sonner. Dès que votre interlocuteur

décroche le portable auxiliaire, vous pouvez commencer à parler.

- Pour mettre n à la conversation, appuyez sur la touche .

TRANSFERT D’UN APPEL

Vous pouvez transférer un appel externe d’un portable à un autre.

Pour ce faire, vous devez exécuter les étapes suivantes pendant

l’appel externe lui-même:

- Appuyez sur la touche . Si vous n’avez qu’un seul autre

portable, il sonnera automatiquement, sinon composez le

numéro du Portable que vous voulez appeler.

- L’autre portable commencera à sonner. Lorsqu’il sera décroché,

vous pourrez parler comme s’il s’agissait d’un appel interne.

- Pour vous transférer l’appel externe, il suft d’appuyer sur la

touche du premier portable.
