GEVAAR
Dompel de oplader in het water of andere vloeistof. nooit

het snoer uit het stopcontact en droog de oplader direct
goed alvorens deze te gebruiken.
WAARSCHUWING
• Controleer of het aangegeven voltage op de onderkant
van de oplader overeenkomt met de plaatselijke netspanning
voordat u het apparaat aansluit.
• Gebruik de oplader buitenshuis, in direct zonlicht of niet
in de buurt van hete oppervlakken.
• De oplaadkabel kan vervangen worden. Stop direct niet
met het gebruik van de oplader indien he snoer of de
oplader beschadigd is.
• Indien de oplader vervangen moet worden, zorg ervoor
dat deze alleen vervangen wordt met de originele oplader
van het oorspronkelijke type om gevaar te voorkomen.
• Open, wijzig of repareer het apparaat of de bijbehoren-
de accessoires niet. Laat het apparaat vallen of niet
omstoten. Stop direct met het gebruik indien het apparaat op
enige wijze beschadigd is. Dit apparaat bevat geen

DANGER
Never immerse the charger in water or other liquid. If the
charger falls into water or other liquid, remove the cord
immediately from the outlet and dry the charger thoroughly
before use.
WARNING
• Before plugging in the device, check whether the
indicated voltage on the bottom side of the charger
corresponds to the local mains voltage.
• Do not use the charger outdoors, in direct sunlight or in the
vicinity of hot surfaces.
• The charging cable cannot be replaced. Stop using the
charger immediately if the cord or charger is damaged.
• If the charger needs to be replaced, make sure to replace
it only with a replacement charger of the original type to
prevent danger.
• Do not open, modify or repair the device or its accesso-
ries. Do not drop or knock over the device. If the device is
damaged in any way, stop using it immediately. This device
does not contain any parts that can be repaired. For further
information, see the 'Warranty’ section.
• The device contains a battery. Do not remove, dismantle,
crush or pierce the battery. Do not expose the battery to fire
or temperatures higher than 50oC.
• This device is not suitable for persons with physical,
sensory or mental disabilities nor for children, unless the
person responsible supervises their safety and explains how
the device should be used.
NOTE
• Do not clean the toothbrush, brush head, charger with
cable or charger cap in the dishwasher or with soap or other
detergents. The use of these will damage the devices.
• Do not use the device for any other purpose than
described in this manual. This device is intended for cleaning
the teeth, gums and tongue only.
• If you experience pain or discomfort while using the
device, stop using it immediately and contact your dentist or
doctor.
• If you have recently undergone a surgical procedure on
your mouth or gums, consult your dentist or doctor before
using the device.
• This device meets the safety requirements for electromag-
netic devices when used in accordance with the instructions
in this user manual. If you have a pacemaker or other
implanted device, contact your doctor before using the
device.
BRUSHING INTENSITY AND BRUSHING MODES
The SMOOVV Sense toothbrush has three different brushing
modes:
1. Clean Standard mode for optimal cleaning
2. Gentle Gentle but optimal cleaning for sensitive teeth
and gums
3. Polish Cleaning of surface stains and deposits
The intensity button (C) can be used to set the intensity for
each brushing mode from 1 (weak) to 5 (strong).
NOTE: The toothbrush remembers the last intensity and
brushing mode used. The same intensity and cleaning mode
will be used when switched on again.
NOTE: The Gentle mode can feel more powerful than the
other modes. This is because the vibrations of the bristles
remain the same, but the intensity with which the bristles
vibrate is reduced.
FIRST USE
1. Remove the handle (A) and the brush head (F) from the
(plastic) packaging.
2. Wash the brush head (F) with running (lukewarm) water
and dry it with a clean cloth.
3. Connect the charging cable (I) to the adapter (K) and
plug the adapter into the mains outlet.
4. Fully charge the handle (A) before first use. The handle is
fully charged when the battery indicator is constantly lit
green.
NOTE: The handle may be charged with the brush head
attached.
NOTE: There is a small opening between the brush head and
the handle. This is by design, since the space allows the
bristles to vibrate.
The battery indicator turns green and stays green when the
battery is fully charged. A full charging session takes
approximately 16 hours and lasts at least three weeks
depending on the brushing intensity and the number of times
it's been used for brushing.
WARNING: Do not expose the handle (A) and other parts
(F, G, H, I, J, K) to fire or temperatures above 50oC.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
BATTERY INDICATOR
NOTE: We strongly recommend that you only charge the
toothbrush when the battery indicator flashes red (<20%
battery). The daily charging of the toothbrush reduces the
battery capacity. This reduces the use time per charge in the
long term. However, there is no risk of overcharging.
NOTE: Do not charge the battery longer than necessary.
Disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged.
NOTE: If the toothbrush is not used for an extended period; it
is advisable to charge it completely before storing it. After an
extended period without use, it may be necessary to let the
battery run empty and then to charge it again a few times.
BRUSHING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Secure the brush head (F) firmly to the handle (A).
2. Use a small amount of toothpaste, the size of a pea. The
“dot” between the bristles can be used as a reference to
determine the amount of toothpaste.
3. Position the bristles of the toothbrush towards the gums at a
45-degree angle.
4. Press the power button (B) to turn on the toothbrush.
5a. Select the desired mode by pressing the on/off button
(B) several times.
5b. Select the desired brushing intensity with the intensity
button (C).
6a. Divide the mouth into four quadrants (top right, top left,
bottom right, bottom left) and brush each quadrant for 30
seconds. The built-in timer helps you do this.
6b. After 30 seconds, the toothbrush interrupts brushing for
half a second. Move the toothbrush to the next quadrant.
7. Lightly press the bristles against the tooth and gums so that
the sonic vibrations can optimally remove dirt and bacteria
between your teeth and gums.
8. Move the brush carefully from tooth to tooth so that all
surfaces are optimally brushed.
9. Brush for two full minutes. After two minutes, the brushing is
complete, and the toothbrush switches off automatically.
NOTE: If you have not finished brushing after two minutes,
turn the toothbrush back on after it turns off automatically.
STORAGE
If the device will not be used for an extended period of time:
1. Remove the plug from the socket.
2. Clean and dry the device.
3. Fully charge the device.
4. Store the device in a cool and dry place, out of reach of
hot surfaces and direct sunlight.
DISPOSING OF THE DEVICE
• The built-in battery contains substances that can be
harmful to the environment. Always remove the battery
before disposing of the device and return the battery to an
official battery collection point. If you encounter problems
removing the battery, contact SMOOVV customer service.
• Once the built-in battery has been removed from the
handle, it can no longer be re-assembled. This also applies
for the other components. This also voids the warranty.

NOTE
• If your toothpaste contains peroxide, bicarbonate of soda
or sodium bicarbonate, thoroughly clean the brush head with
water after each use. These substances can cause cracks to
form in the plastic. Thorough cleaning prevents these cracks.
• Do not use the brush head if the bristles are bent or
broken. Replace the brush head at the latest after 3 months
or if signs of wear occur earlier.
• Use this device only with the brushes recommended by
the manufacturer.
POETSINTENSITEIT EN POETSMODI
De SMOOVV Sense tandenborstel heeft drie verschillende
poetsmodi:
1. Clean Standaardmodus voor het optimaal reinigen
2. Gentle Voorzichtig, maar optimaal reinigen voor
gevoelige tanden en tandvlees
3. Polish Reinigen van oppervlakkige vlekken en aanslag
Met de intensiteitknop (C) kan per poetsmodi de intensiteit
worden ingesteld van 1 (zwak) tot 5 (sterk).
OPMERKING: De tandenborstel onthoudt de laatst
gebruikte intensiteit en poetsmodi. Bij het opnieuw
inschakelen zal dezelfde intensiteit en poetsmodi gebruikt
worden.
OPMERKING: De Gentle modus kan krachtiger aanvoelen
dan de andere standen. Dit komt doordat de trillingen van
de borstelharen hetzelfde blijven, maar de intensiteit
waarmee de borstelharen trillen wordt verminderd.
EERSTE GEBRUIK
1. Haal het handvat (A) en het opzetborstel (F) uit de (plastic)
verpakking.
2. Was de opzetborstel (F) met stromend (lauw) water en
droog deze met een schone doek.
3. Sluit de oplaadkabel (I) aan met de adapter (K) en stop
de adapter in het stopcontact.
4. Laad het handvat (A) volledig op voor het eerste gebruik.
Het handvat is volledig opgeladen wanneer de batterij-indi-
cator constant groen brandt.
OPMERKING: Het handvat mag met de opzetborstel
bevestigd opgeladen worden.
OPMERKING: Er zit een kleine opening tussen de
opzetborstel en het handvat. Dit is zo ontworpen, omdat de
ruimte ertussen ervoor zorgt dat de borstelharen kunnen
vibreren.
De batterij-indicator wordt en blijft groen wanneer de batterij
volledig is opgeladen. Een volledige oplaadsessie duurt
ongeveer 16 uur en gaat minimaal drie weken mee
afhankelijk van de poetsintensiteit en het aantal poetsbeurten.
WAARSCHUWING: Stel het handvat (A) en andere
onderdelen (F,G,H,I,J,K) niet bloot aan vuur of temperaturen
boven de 50 oC.

Kan ik de tandenborstel gebruiken onder de douche?
De tandenborstel is IPX7 gecertificeerd en kan daarom prima
onder de douche worden gebruikt.
Kan ik de oplader gebruiken in de badkamer?
De oplader kan gebruikt worden in de badkamer.
Wij raden het aan om de oplader droog te houden. Maak
de oplader alleen schoon wanneer de stekker uit het
stopcontact is.
Waarom zit er ruimte tussen het handvat en de
opzetborstel?
De tandenborstel is ontworpen met ruimte tussen het handvat
en de opzetborstel. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de borstelharen
optimaal kunnen vibreren.
Kan ik de tandenborstel opladen met een andere
oplader?
Nee, het gebruik van een oplader anders dan de originele
SMOOVV Sense oplader kan de tandenborstel en de
batterij beschadigen. Wij raden aan om te allen tijden de
originele oplader te gebruiken.
Het kietelt wanneer ik de tandenborstel gebruik.
Het duurt 1-2 weken dat u gewend raakt aan elektrisch
poetsen. Het kietelende gevoel wordt minder naarmate u
gewend raakt aan de trillingen. U heeft 60 dagen de tijd om
de tandenborstel uit te proberen. Mocht u niet tevreden zijn,
dan kunt u de tandenborstel retourneren.

Can I use the toothbrush in the shower?
The toothbrush is IPX7 certified and can therefore be used in
the shower.
Can I use the charger in the bathroom?
The charger can be used in the bathroom.
We recommend keeping the charger dry. Only clean the
charger when the plug is out of the outlet.
Why is there space between the handle and the
brush head?
The toothbrush is designed with a space between the handle
and the brush head. This ensures that the bristles can vibrate
optimally.
Can I charge the toothbrush with a different charger?
No, using a charger other than the original SMOOVV Sense
charger can damage the toothbrush and the battery. We
recommend always using the original charger.
It tickles when I use the toothbrush.
It takes 1-2 weeks for you to get accustomed to electric
brushing. The tickling sensation decreases as you get used to
the vibrations. You have 60 days to try the toothbrush. If you
are not satisfied, you can then return the toothbrush.

ontstaan. Door een grondige schoonmaak voorkomt u

• Gebruik de opzetborstel langer als de borstelharen niet
verbogen of geknakt zijn. Vervang de opzetborstel uiterlijk
na 3 maanden of indien er eerder tekenen van slijtage
optreden.
• Gebruik dit apparaat met de door de uitsluitend
fabrikant aanbevolen opzetborstels.

GEBRUIK EN ONDERHOUD
BATTERIJINDICATOR
LET OP: Wij raden het sterk aan om de tandenborstel alleen
op te laden wanneer de batterij-indicator rood knippert
(<20% batterij). Het dagelijks opladen van de tandenborstel
verlaagt de batterijcapaciteit. Daardoor vermindert de
gebruikstijd per lading op lange termijn. Er is echter geen
risico op overladen.
LET OP: Laad de batterij niet langer op dan nodig.
Ontkoppel de oplader wanneer de batterij volledig is
opgeladen.
OPMERKING: Wanneer de tandenborstel een langere tijd
niet wordt gebruikt is het aan te raden deze volledig op te
laden alvorens op te bergen. Na een lange periode zonder
gebruik kan het nodig zijn om de batterij enkele keren leeg te
laten en terug op te laden.
POETSINSTRUCTIES
1. Bevestig de opzetborstel (F) stevig op het handvat (A).
2. Gebruik een kleine hoeveelheid tandpasta ter grootte van
een erwt. Het “punt” tussen de borstelharen kan als referentie
worden gebruikt om de hoeveelheid tandpasta te bepalen.
3. Plaats de borstelharen van de tandenborstel richting het
tandvlees onder een hoek van 45 graden.
4. Druk op de aan-/uitknop (B) om de tandenborstel in te
schakelen.
5a. Kies de gewenste modus door de aan/uit knop (B)
meerdere keren in te drukken .
5b. Kies de gewenste poetsintensiteit met de intensiteitknop
(C).
6a. Verdeel de mond in vier kwadranten (rechtsboven,
linksboven, rechtsonder, linksonder) en poets elk kwadrant
30 seconden lang. De ingebouwde timer helpt u daarbij.
6b. Na 30 seconden onderbreekt de tandenborstel het
poetsen met een halve seconde. Plaats de tandenborstel
naar het volgende kwadrant.
7. Druk de borstelharen lichtjes tegen de tand en tandvlees
aan, zodat de sonische trillingen het vuil en bacteriën tussen
de tanden en het tandvlees optimaal kunnen verwijderen.
8. Beweeg de borstel zorgvuldig van tand naar tand, zodat
alle oppervlakken optimaal worden gepoetst.
9. Poets twee volledige minuten. Na twee minuten is de
poetsbeurt voltooid en schakelt de tandenborstel automatisch
uit.
Met de metalen staaf van de tandenborstel tegen een hard vlak,
zoals een bureaublad, hard naar beneden drukken,
en de beugel zal eruit worden geduwd.

OPMERKING: Poets volgens het advies van het Ivoren kruis,
namelijk volgens de 3b’s (binnenkant, buitenkant, bovenop).

gepoetst, schakel de tandenborstel weer in nadat deze

OPBERGEN
Indien het apparaat een langere tijd niet gebruikt gaat
worden:
1. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Maak het apparaat schoon en droog.
3. Laad het apparaat volledig op.
4. Bewaar het apparaat op een koele en droge plaats,
buiten het bereik van hete oppervlakken en direct zonlicht.
HET APPARAAT AFDANKEN
• De ingebouwde accu bevat stoffen die schadelijk kunnen
zijn voor het milieu. Verwijder altijd de accu voordat u het
apparaat afdankt en inlevert op een officieel inzamelpunt
voor batterijen. Als u problemen ondervindt bij het
verwijderen van de accu, neem contact op met de
SMOOVV klantenservice.
• Indien de ingebouwde accu wordt verwijderd uit het
handvat kan deze niet meer in elkaar gezet worden. Dit geldt
ook voor de overige onderdelen. Ook vervalt hierbij de
garantie.

Dit proces is niet terug te draaien en kan hierna niet meer in
elkaar gezet worden.

Dit symbool geeft aan dat dit product in de hele EU niet met
ander huishoudelijk afval weggegooid
mag worden. Om mogelijke schade
aan het milieu of de menselijke
gezondheid te voorkomen door het
ongecontroleerd weggooien van afval,
bent u verantwoordelijk voor het
recyclen om het duurzaam hergebruik
van grondstoffen te bevorderen. Om uw gebruikte product te
retourneren, kunt u gebruikmaken van de reguliere retour- en
ophaalsystemen of contact opnemen met de winkel waar het
product is gekocht. Zij kunnen dit product recyclen ten
behoeve van het milieu.
GARANTIE
U heeft wettelijk een garantie van 2 jaar op de SMOOVV
tandenborstel. De garantietermijn gaat in vanaf het moment
dat uw tandenborstel aan u is geleverd. Indien u vanaf het
moment van aankoop een abonnement afsluit voor
opzetborstels, dan krijgt u levenslang garantie op uw
tandenborstel totdat u het abonnement beëindigt.
OPMERKING: Indien u in de tussentijd uw abonnement
stopt, dan vervalt de levenslange garantie. Voor verdere

GARANTIEBEPERKINGEN
De volgende zaken vallen niet onder de voorwaarden van
de garantie:
• Schade als gevolg van verkeerd gebruik, misbruik,
verwaarlozing of wijzigingen.
• Gewone slijtage, inclusief kerfjes, krasjes, schuurplekken,
verkleuring of verbleking.
